How to stop an outbreak - Build a heat laser that fires two beams in a V pattern to the sides of an outbreak, and then slowly bring the beams inward towards the center. You have to start on the sides so that the pressure generated by the beams doesn’t launch any Goo away from the death beam.

Element idea: [HARG] aka [Hardening Gel] it acts like soap, but everything it touches turns to [HARC] aka [Hardened Cluster] that behaves like titanium, but it can withstand 3.000 degrees more than titanium

You could make the grey goo more efficient/ faster when converting metals to it as nano bots are made of metal.
That wouldn’t make converting metal easier, unless the particular metal the little robots are made of does not matter
Maybe making it faster for titanium or just a specific metal but not just any metal
Powder toy uses the GPL-3 license, which basically says "feel free to modify and distribute just mention who made it"
IDEA:Make UNTS a.k.a. Unstable Soap which turns anything it touches into BREL (for some reason) but turns RGOO and GGOO back into what they swallowed, and the only thing that can contain it is BRCK.
Unstable matter, this element explodes in a very violent way when the heat or pressure is too high and creates black holes from this explosion.

Element Suggestion: PSRV (Pressure Valve) an element that acts like glass and will delete itself under very high pressure, meaning you have to replace it, and can also let pressure and gases through if pressure gets too high, great for your steam engines incase you want your steam engines to be realistic.

Very late, but one thing that could be neat for the goos is that the higher the temperature it takes to melt the slower it converts the material to itself on top of the heat based growth
That way it gives ways to potentially stomp it out if it starts in an area filled with say tungsten as that would be one of the slowest materials to convert

Idea: Mutations
The goos have a small chance of turning into a related goo when spreading or when hit with electrons. (For example, GGOO can't turn into RZGO but can turn into RGOO, ZGOO, and BGOO)
Idea: ZGOO (Zombie goo)
ZGOO spreads like GGOO, except when it dies, it turns into actual GGOO at absolute zero. ZGOO can also retake that GGOO, making it extremely harder to defeat. When it takes over RGOO it becomes and makes the RGOO RZGO. Can mutate into GGOO and ZRGO.
Idea: RZGO (Red zombie goo)
RZGO is the same as ZGOO but it turns into and spreads like RGOO. It also makes pressure when killed. Can mutate into RGOO and ZGOO.
Idea: BGOO (Blue goo)
BGOO cools down extremely quickly when it spreads, making it a good coolant defense in case of explosions, such as from nuclear power plant facilities. It's also heavier. It can mutate from GGOO and has a zombie variant that works how you probably expect. Mutates into BZGO, GGOO, and PDGO
Idea: PDGO (Planetary-destructive goo)
PDGO cools down slower than BGOO but is extemely heavy. PDGO has the ability to cool down anything - even gravity wells, which is where it's name comes from. It can eat into a planet's core and slowly drain the gravity away, until eventually the gravity is essiantally gone. It then moves towards the nearest planet due to how heavy it is and repeats. Can mutate into ZPDG (zombie variant) and BGOO.

Nanobots IRL would... Basically face the other side of that problem if they replicated that fast. As in, they would produce so much waste heat that they would melt themselves, or any material they tried to eat.
I guess these are using some Clarketech to convert that waste heat into energy, which sounds nice and improbable.
Again add all of the real life elements to the mod and also make the mod more realistic

I'd like to see the goos versus virus
Idea: SGGO (solid gray goo) when gray goo goes into a vacuum, or an area with below 0 pressure, it turns into solid goo which destroys any objects it comes in contact with. Sorta like a opposite of CLNE. It also can't be contained, and you should always create a pressure chamber when containing regular gray goo.
It would make more sense if it was a area with very high pressure.

Hey Spike,
What if you added bromine? It could be a powdery solid or a liquid that can react with water to make Hydrobromide which can be boiled to make a corrosive gas. It can be used as a defoliant and it can be corrosive in its liquid and gaseous forms and it can conduct electricity when heated. It's a purply-brownish color and when it's added to water it will turn it a lighter version of its original color. An interesting side compound it can make is Polonium Dibromide which is a purple-brown crystalline solid (I'm envisioning that it behaves like stone) that decomposes at temperatures above 110ºC or in the presence of nitrogen gas.

Patina copper (PCPR): Copper with patina, oxidizes faster.

New element Idea: GRGO (Green Goo)
Acts as a counter measure for the other two goo types and as a hive mind. Green Goo that is touching other Green Goo will not start to do anything until one piece of it is modified (converted into a new element), and when this happens, a "Panic Mode" will initiate and the GRGO will start Cooling Itself at an Insane rate.
The GRGO will also try to convert whatever goo type its touching into itself. If The GRGO is in Panic Mode, but there is no GGOO or RGOO eating at it, the GRGO will leave Panic Mode. After leaving panic mode, an internal timer will go off and tick down ten seconds. if GRGO Isn't damaged at all during the timers ticking down, the GRGO will convert any converted GGOO or RGOO into whatever was converted by that pixel. (Example. GGOO eats up a bit of Brick but gets converted into GRGO. once the timer has ticked down that piece of GRGO will re-convert into Brick.) after that the original GRGO will Become DGRG (Dead Green Goo). DGRG does absolutely nothing except for acting like dust.
This Goo's convert speed is affected by its Life Value
Element: CRSH (Crash), PCSH (Powered Crash) CRSH: Crashes your game when you put it an unpause, Way to stop it: Melt it to 2000 °C and you get MCSH (Molten Crash) when it cools down it goes to BCSH (Broken Crash) PCSH: Powered crash, when using P-Silicon to it, it crashes ur game Way to stop it from crashing: Put an N-Silicon to it.
This idea is useless.

Acts like fire or plsm though simultaneously moves like ELEC though slower. Fairly quickly decays into ELEC. Muons are much better at charging Vibranium or Exot, and will reduce the fusion temperature of fusable elements it touches by a lot.

Element: ANSM (ANomalouS Matter)
It is an energy particle, it will break anything it touches (BMTL will become BRMT; even METL will become BRMT) and moves around like a neutron but the random variation is much stronger. It has a 50/50 chance of decaying into 2 ANSM or simply disappearing.
Or..
LIVE (Life; but LIFE is already taken by GOL stuff)
It replicates itself upan being exposed to any form of energy (has to be fairly hot) but also dies if it gets too hot. It can sometimes infect particles around it, but will always ineivitably die, reverting to whatever particle it infected.

Is there a way you'd be able to make the play area larger? for example there are some explosions that are so large they just leave the map and you can't see the whole thing. I was wondering if it would be possible to make the map larger and add a zoom function, like maybe with the scroll wheel for example.

Maybe a sticky liquid that attaches to or mixes with powders, but I don't know if you would be able to do that. Another idea a particle that kind of attaches things to it like gel does with itself but a bit stronger, but still able to fall off, kind of like a breakable moving solid.

Hi. I'm a physicist. It violates the laws of thermodynamics to give them energy based on their temperature. Instead, the energy should be based on the difference in temperature between itself and its surroundings. The greater the difference, the more efficient. (This is why a car engine runs as hot as it can btw). It must then generate heat. Any such nanomachines would presumably generate energy and store it for later use too, otherwise any nanomachines in the middle of a mass of nanomachines would have no temperature gradient to take advantage of.
I'm happy to go into more detail and help you get it physically possible if you'd like.
