Great opening Jon Some day I will have to get Wendy to tell you stories about wind on the bike. You have got us wanting to do this trip and tracking down your stickers Thanks again for doing this, we are enjoying every second of your Journey. 🍻🍻🇨🇦 Cherrio
The beauty about riding west is the change in scenery and landscape….I never get tired of it. Great video, I have enjoyed each episode of the Rt 66 adventure. One thing I really like about “y’all” is how you have taken advantage of your American stay to see all of the amazing sites in this country. Keep on going!
Hi Tom! We always knew the US was vast, but we were also confused as to why so few Americans don’t have passports. We really get it now, you can experience almost everything right within the US borders. Plus we have the added benefit of experiencing things that are just ‘normal’ for a lot of Americans 🤣🤣 thanks for watching Tom 👍👍
That guy was funny at that diversity shop. Was he saying they did the Disney movie Cars there? I was laughing watching Natalie put the sticker on the state line pole. And on your shoulders none the less Laurence. Glad John was there filming it was funny! I remember the video of your stuff getting stolen in Texas and then you were sick. You might of had Covid. That was nice too learning about the church being on fire last year and burnt down. It looked weird with the road closed and then the new Route 66 route. The new one is over taking the old one.
This is a great series! FYI, was surprised to find out I was unsubscribed even though I'm a member. Had heard of RUclips doing this, first time it's happened to me.
My Husband and I Jim Flight we are from NL Canada and we drove Route 66 April 2022…watching this video your sticker is one sticker away from ours on the Texas State Line Sign 😀🇺🇸🇨🇦🇬🇧
That’s so cool! Shame that we missed you by just a few weeks! We kept meeting the same people along the route doing the same thing which was kinda cool. Where else did you place stickers? We took a lot of photos too, so we’ll see if we can dig out a photo and spot your sticker
We placed stickers at the midpoint cafe on the truck and Jack Rabbit Trading post on the door. We travelled from Illinois to Arizona placing stickers all along the way we saw our sticker on red rocker when you were there! Fantastic trip! We love your videos we are following you 😊
Great video guys! Half way through the Route 66 yay!! Great job! You are right Oklahoma was nice when you were there. Texas too! I hear you on the wind. It’s hard on a bike than a car. Glad you made it to New Mexico can’t wait until next weeks video. Have a great night and see you soon!
OMG we have to go meet that man!! He was everything 🤣🙌🏽🔥 love meeting people like that!! Like always you guys never fail at bringing us to tears 😅🤣 of laughter!! 🌺Lori&Ruben 🤙🏽
@@BrazenBrits lol, i knew you were apart of the night, i was giving u a hard time because of your humour that ‘they’ were the only ones struggling. I would be suffering to….lol 🍻
2.5 milliseconds into the conversation at the curiosity store I could see the pure regret in Lawrence’s face. It was however good to know that guy thought Natalie was good look’n lmao
I (Laurence) admit that, at first, I was not expecting the response we initially got. But Harley soon perked up and was actually really accepting of us. We have over an hour of footage with him and he is strange, but overall an entertaining fellow 😁. If you can look past the day drinking at 10:30am and smell of weed, he is actually a genuinely lovely person who misses his wife. You might need to leather skin to see through his jokes though 😲
Guy’s another fantastic video of your adventure. That old boy was a Diamond. We have a customer who has a collection of stuff like that, they are absolutely fascinating people. Anyways, it’s my Birthday birthday 21st July and I went and got me a Goldwing and said good buy to the Yamaha FJR 1300. A mate of mine in the UK who I used to ride with is the same age and contacted me with a suggestion that we meet up next year for our 60 th birthday celebration and do a holiday ride. Now I gave him 3 options 1 here in North America. 2 In the UK Or 3 Neutral venue. I’ll send you details, and who knows eh ?
Oh wow, that’s a really great question! We are terrible with breakfast and always have been. But one thing we did worry about was eating too much before riding, making us tired. So because of that, although probably not the healthiest thing, was to eat heaviest at night when we were done traveling for the day. Time was our biggest challenge for most of the trip, so we tended to snack during riding breaks instead of cafes and restaurants as they would typically take too long.
We just stopped into Amarillo for a couple of days and had to watch this episode again! Great Job! We are looking forward to our visit to the Big Texan! We love Texas!
Route 66 was a 4 lane DIVIDED highway. 2 lanes for each direction. Most places have closed one side to save repair costs. The side being used has one lane for each direction
Problem is only one person at a time and there are a bunch of sides, "72-ounce Steak Dinner Challenge Includes: Shrimp Cocktail, Baked Potato, Salad, with Roll, Butter, and of course the 72oz Steak"
Great opening Jon

That dude gargling with Jack Daniels. 🤣 Very interesting guy. 😳
It was also 10:45am 😲.
You get it where you find it... I found that hilarious!
He was quite the character 🤣
Such an adventure! Loving each week you release a new segment! Marvelous content.
Cheers Jeremy 😁
Thanks for bringing us along!
Our pleasure! :)
New Mexico is windy most of the time. Great video, guys.
Something they don't tell you in the books and Apps :)

I think Disney did go there yes, was hard to keep track of all his stories to be honest.

Interesting! Might explain a few things lately. RUclips must be purging 🤦♀️

Loving this series. You have done Route 66 mighty proud!
Thankyou lisa 🙏🙏
Natalie, love the jacket ! We are getting ready to buy property in Texas for retirement, it’s not all bad.
Thankyou! A lovely neighbour leant it to me for the hot days. it's very breathable
Lol, aaah huh, waiting for them to get up from margaritaville night….sure larry. 🍻
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We were seriously hungover but those margaritas were some of the best we’ve ever had and they went down way too easily! 🤣🤣

I thought for sure you'd track down JD from big truck big rv while you were in texas so we could all get a glimpse of him lol
Maybe we did, but nobody has any idea what he looks like 🤷♂️ I’d recognize his right hand though, that’s been in a few videos 🤣

Janelle, you must do better. We have been terribly worried about you for over 24hrs!
Loving this route 66 season! My husband still plays RDR lol
That's awesome!
The Cadillac ranch wow was there a long time ago, Told my wife we didn't have cell phones back then or I would have took a selfie.
How many layers of paint did it have then??
@@BrazenBrits Not sure but it definitely didn't look like near as much as it is now
Do you recommend your largest meal should breakfast, lunch, or supper when on a destination ride? I appreciate how you captured the ride! 🖖🏻😘👍🏻🙏🏻

I'm sure your margaritas helped the US economy. Party on!

You going for the 72oz ?! 🤣🤣
@@BrazenBrits lol Nope - it would take me a week to eat that much steak!

Ahhhh that makes a lot of sense 🙌
Do you think you could have eaten the full 72 oz. Steak? Bath you and John? That would have been cool if you did. You would have had a free steak!
Problem is only one person at a time and there are a bunch of sides, "72-ounce Steak Dinner Challenge Includes: Shrimp Cocktail, Baked Potato, Salad, with Roll, Butter, and of course the 72oz Steak"

@@BrazenBrits There is no way I could have ate that much steak. That’s a lot of meat. Lol!
