My husband and I took this trip in our 1965 Pontiac Bonneville convertible from Wisconsin to Needle, California in 2019 before Covid, we loved it and want to go again. We are enjoying your trip on Route 66. You all have hit some places we missed and hit places we did see! Love your videos!!
My Husband and I are still following your Route 66 road trip had to comment and tell you that our stay at the Blue Swallow was so amazing that we stayed there on the way back too; it was so nostalgic, clean and the owners were fantastic!!!
It was a great day. But yes, was a bit stressful having to get out of the hotel. By the time we got back from the blue hole, everybody had already been evacuated and there were only two staff members left. They nearly didn’t let us go in to get our stuff 😲
Curious if your ears were burning this weekend. 😁 We spent six days with the Switch Crew! I wish you guys could’ve been there! Keep doing what you do! I love your optimism and cheery personalities! ❤️🥰
Nice video! We get them dirt devils abs or dust devils here too! They do look like tornados. I like the Route 66. It was cool seeing Route 66 in Arizona. I had a t- shirt from there but I wore it so much it got worn out. Wow! So glad you got out of the hotel in time. Were you really conned? Lol! That was nice you met a couple who subscribed to your channel. Great video on Route 66. Thank you Laurence and Natalie and Jon.
We felt a little conned that it was more expensive when we had already set up and chosen a hotel via Expedia. They did refund our money after a lengthy debate. They kept trying to call the hotel to confirm evacuation and I was like, THEY ARNT THERE THEY ARE EVACUATED?! 🤣🤣 but eventually they called a few days later and we got our money back. I wish the new hotel honored the same price. Actually if I remember correctly she did give me a discount after I told her of our ordeal, but it was still $20 more I think originally it was $70 more or something.
Really enjoy your your videos. Glad y'all survived the fire. I was surprised that you just hit six thousand subscribers! Y'all are one of my favorite channels to watch. I really thought y'all were a much bigger channel. People don't know what they are missing. Y'all stay safe
And another awesome vid guys. Totally love that Jonathan has a fascination with derelict buildings, I thought it was only me. Not only buildings but also abounded towns etc. Anyways we were camping at Peachland RV Park last year while the Forrest Fires were on here in British Columbia and to be honest it was a little scary but they soon had them under control. Cool to see the Helicoptors fighting the fires though.
Love Route 66 would of loved it on a bike for sure but those days are gone. Loved the editing and music. Great share guys stay safe and keep the rubber to the ground. 👏❤️👍🇺🇸👊🥑
Was on Route 66 yesterday (test driving an RV) and thought of you guys 🥰 We where talking about how cool it is to go to so many places where it’s still the same as way back when. Just the thought of how they lived, walked the same steps... just blows my mind, love it!! That hotel was sooo awesome!! And the abandoned building 😅 hope you find a haunted one 😳🤣🙌🏽 😍there is the blue hole we talked about 😬 is that why she didn’t go in, cause it was cold?? That would be Ruben 🤣😜 me I’m down for it!! It looked sooo beautiful!! Glad you guys had a blast, John looks like a lot of fun!! I bet you guys are constantly in stitches with all the banter. Until next episode 🌺🤙🏽 Lori&Ruben
Thanks!
Aww I just saw this! Lol thanks 😂
Love those old school motels that have been well kept.
Yup. It was such a cool place. We love our luxury’s, but we’d take the blue swallow over luxury hotels anyday!

👏 And so cheap also!!
@@BrazenBrits yes and it’s great to get a clean cheap hotel /motel on Route 66 when your staying/paying for 15 nights 😊💵
That looked good. Lots of fun. Fire spoilt your relaxing day though. Again fun video.

@@BrazenBrits Wow! That’s strange that that had happened. They should have given you the refund right away because you weren’t there for the night.
@@BrazenBrits Glad you finally got your money but sorry it took longer.
Enjoying the videos. Stay safe out there!
Thanks guys ❤️😃
