I think sparks build is good, I play it with the electric curse and arc lightning but I dont take any shields on skill tree. I think lightning armor pen is relevant. I jsut did all spell damage and armor pen mods. Since mana regen is so common on items, I feel its irrelevant at least til like level 30 (im 28) to get mana regen.

I'm doing maps with spark and arc. With archmage and stacking mana, using Orb of storms and Mana tempest.
