Every family has at least one I think. Are you the go-to person in your family? If not, any comments about the Mr./Ms. fix-it who you know? I appreciate your comments and thanks for watching.
Matt, I was surprised to hear that you made a video while reconstructing our dresser drawer. The drawer is super sturdy and fits like a glove. Well done and thank you! Don’t worry, I’ll let you know when the other drawers are worn out. 😉
Donating your time and talents is a fantastic message, be it craftsmanship, financial advice, plumbing, cleaning, proofreading, anything! Awesome example, Matt! I'm sure that's the new favorite drawer ;)
Good job Matt! I'm the 'go to' guy in my family, I also help friends who can't or don't know how to fix things around their house, my dad was the same way. Fixing some thing comes easy for some people, but it gives an object new life, and allows the memories to continue, where otherwise it might need to be tossed.
Careful now, when your BIL sees how nice the new drawer is, he might decide the rest of them need to be "repaired" too... ;-) Great job on the new drawer. I love when we're able to use parts of the old item when repairing. It kind of "tells a story" to anyone down the line who pays attention to the details.
Personally, I don't have nearly that much invested into my shop. One could setup a decent shop for about $1000 and turn out some nice projects. But my point is that there are many ways people can help out those around them. It doesn't have to be in a woodshop.

Glad it's working out.
Thank you for fixing our drawer.

Very cool! Great life advice!
Thanks so much!
Every family has a guy with a workshop and $30000 worth of gear 😂
