Awesome vid. How did you get such fluid shots tracking the surfers at 1080p without slowing it down?
***** Thanks! We used a fluid head tripod for all of the surfing tracking shots. Most footage was shot at 1080p 24fps, but some surfing footage was shot in 60 fps and slowed down to fit a 24 fps timeline.

+Kylecitrin We used a Sigma 150-500mm for the surfing shots, Canon 24-70mm 2.8L , Tokina 11-16mm 2.8
+EndeavorStudios That's sick I already have really nice wide angle lens but wanna get a good zoom for surfing and stuff like that. Do you think I'm better off just getting a 200mm or 300mm lens or going beyond that to a 500mm lens like what you guys used?
+Kylecitrin Thats a good question. If you want to shoot surfing and get really tightly cropped shots, like we did in this video, your probably going to want at least a 400mm. That being said you can still get some great/closeup shots with a 200mm or 300mm. Maybe look into a 200mm or 300mm, and if you needed extra zoom look into a 2x or 1.4x extender

Looking to go surf this winter in New England. Just moved from the Caribbean and have never surfed in freezing waters. Anyone w/experience interested in joining me? Don't think I'll go by myself without any guidance. :S

+Hayden Guerrero they winter was pretty good. The spring was also was really good this year we pretty much had a quality swell at least once a week.
