I've also lived in RI all of my life and the only two places I knew on this list were Scituate and Gansett. The other places aren't even towns, they're villages/districts that a very small amount of people still refer to.
ive been living in rhode island ever since i was born so i have a really thick rhode island accent. i dont really like how they only used the southern cities because ive been living in woonsocket for my whole life so i only like the northern cities more.
How did they not know how to pronounce Narragansett?!? It's SO simple. But I've lived in Narragansett my whole life, so that's probably why it's so easy for me xD
Im 27. Lived in RI my whole life. I enjoyed this video a lot but... I work the entire state of RI and I have never heard of more than half of these places. Only tiogue, narragansett, and situate that's it. I see you do videos on native food. RI has AWESOME a food. Best food around. Gotta get some clam chowder (or pronounced clam chowda) at iggys. A Weiner "all the way" at NY system Order a coffee milk Order a grinder (grinda) And go get your drink at the "bubbla"
I'm from ri and while i have friends from and have been to narragansett and scituate, i've never heard of the other ones. They must be tiny villages with very few people living in them!
I've lived in Rhode Island 24 out of 24 years of my life and the only name on this list I can pronounce is Narragansett which I correctly pronounce as GANN-set or give me another GANN-set (Beer).
We have a town in rhode island that is spelled as this..Greenwich.. I found out from people who live near this town it is said as if it was spelled like this....grenich...I have lived here my whole life and you guys are so right...it is so messed up how most of our towns are pronounced. When I was a kid I had a heck of a time trying to pronounce misquamicut
I'm from Narragansett and I enjoyed this video, unfortunately Gansett and Scituate are the only towns out of all of them. Pettaquamscutt is a neighborhood/landmark. Tiogue is a lake, and the others I haven't even heard of

Lol, "do they speak English?"
Yes, we do - most of our town names are from the Native American tribes, towns, villages, etc.

1:35 I will now only refer to Scituate as "Sky Twat."
Narragansett and Scituate are the only ones I can pronounce and I live in Rhode Island

I'm a Rhode Islander and this is hilarious
They're all Narragansett Tribe names from before Rhode Island was colonized.
Lived in RI, only heard of Narragansett and Scituate. Many of these names are derived from Native Americans.

These places are rarely known

I've lived in ri my whole life and I've barely even heard of any of these named
Woonasquatucket!
Wisconsin names (ashwaubenon, wauwatosa, boscobel, ixonia)
I live in RI and i dont know how to pronounce half of these XD
