For most beginner riders hitting your first park jump can be rather intimidating, but with the right speed and enough pop you'll soon be able to make this part of your daily routine. Take a lap with Nev and Fab as they go over some of the most common mistakes riders face when hitting their first park jump.

Payed $200 for a lesson to get the same advice... this free subscription is already worth it.
That ability to have someone there correcting your mistakes early on is very handy though. Got to make sure you push for feedback
every snowboarder on the lift looked back, they were so jealous of getting a free lesson from Nev
活捉peter!哈哈
正是我想说的!
請問這是在whistler 嗎?
:)
Im jealous just by watching😅
All resorts need liitle jumps like these, id be all over them.
honestly you'd be better off just doing ollie's on flat than hitting these. you'll learn more control over your board and with a good ollie you'll go even further than these jumps haha
Definitely. My local resort just puts in ridiculously large jumps that are almost impossible on which to learn. Just a few of these small jumps would be such a help.
Nev is probably the best snowboard teacher ever
3:07. Your videos are enjoyable and helpful but I just knew that one day this would happen. 😂
Clear as ever; cheers Nev
Those guys were so freaking lucky..what i would do for a lesson with these gurus..happy 2020 everyone🤘
I wish youtube tutorials were a thing when I was learning. I would've progressed so much faster. Keep up the good work Nev

Awesome approach with this video! I’m sure he was stoked!
Love it
The teaching lessons are the best Videos!
Really you can tell he is overthinking being flat on the board and it makes his jump and landings look awkward. You can land a little on your edge (or quickly get onto your edge) to gain control after a jump quicker. You can also stay a little on your edge when approaching a jump. His first few approaches looked like he was on a box and his board was searching for an edge to grab.
I unfortunately suffer from this problem :( Too worried about catching edges. Slowly workin on it though. Practicing slow moving jumps on flat ground helps a ton.
I saw that too. Staying lightly on one edge is also more forgiving if your pop or ollie wasn't quite right where if you were just flat-basing you might create some unwanted twist or rotation as you go airborne. I like to stay on my toe edge also to prevent landing on my ass too.
Andrew Hua Dont worry about catching an edge, if anything practice airing and then catching the ground with your tail first, it will get you comfortable with the landings & also you can save yourself with landing tail first if you jump wrong.
Airs on a snowboard are surprisingly easy and so damn fun.
These are great resources for instructors. Would be rad if there was an instructor centred series, but the market is niche.
Love this guy nev..very humble and talented..nev if you read this im a kiwi indian living in aux.cheers🍺
More quality content guys. Great stuff!
True
I like this guy.. i could do with a day on the slopes with this dude :-)
Yay thanks for the tips
Awesome video guys! Thank you!!
All your training equipment looks so cool... like the tramp board the balance bar and the bindings. I just wish i could afford it to improve my riding🙁
Snowboard Addiction Thats a good idea what should I use as bindings though
Nev come to Mt. Hood, OR and give me some tips!!!!
Nice. This might actually be useful for the next season (I'm Puertorican) when I hit Big Boulder up for some terrain park practice :D
Good vibes ! 🤙
Can you dip a video on how to air on a half pipe?
# 1 - watching a video about mistakes instead of just going snowboarding

Fab needs to learn how to ride properly before working on his jumps. Also his arms are all over the place when he he’s in the air.
mine is hitting all those double bacon cheeseburgers
Thank you...
Too much forward lean on the guy’s high back
Still going too fast on the 2nd attempt; also needs to get in a more athletic position
Dude should skateboard, and not wear ski pants, and he will nail it.
The man told you his name was Faban. Not Fab. Don't change a black man's name to something you can pronounce more easily.
