    For most beginner riders hitting your first park jump can be rather intimidating, but with the right speed and enough pop you'll soon be able to make this part of your daily routine. Take a lap with Nev and Fab as they go over some of the most common mistakes riders face when hitting their first park jump.

    Payed $200 for a lesson to get the same advice... this free subscription is already worth it.

      That ability to have someone there correcting your mistakes early on is very handy though. Got to make sure you push for feedback

      honestly you'd be better off just doing ollie's on flat than hitting these. you'll learn more control over your board and with a good ollie you'll go even further than these jumps haha

      @DKR-1881 2 года назад +1

      Definitely. My local resort just puts in ridiculously large jumps that are almost impossible on which to learn. Just a few of these small jumps would be such a help.

    Really you can tell he is overthinking being flat on the board and it makes his jump and landings look awkward. You can land a little on your edge (or quickly get onto your edge) to gain control after a jump quicker. You can also stay a little on your edge when approaching a jump. His first few approaches looked like he was on a box and his board was searching for an edge to grab.

      I unfortunately suffer from this problem :( Too worried about catching edges. Slowly workin on it though. Practicing slow moving jumps on flat ground helps a ton.

    • @Sprinkles-BtE
      @Sprinkles-BtE 4 года назад

      I saw that too. Staying lightly on one edge is also more forgiving if your pop or ollie wasn't quite right where if you were just flat-basing you might create some unwanted twist or rotation as you go airborne. I like to stay on my toe edge also to prevent landing on my ass too.

    • @DannyOVideos
      @DannyOVideos 4 года назад

      Andrew Hua Dont worry about catching an edge, if anything practice airing and then catching the ground with your tail first, it will get you comfortable with the landings & also you can save yourself with landing tail first if you jump wrong.

    These are great resources for instructors. Would be rad if there was an instructor centred series, but the market is niche.

    The man told you his name was Faban. Not Fab. Don't change a black man's name to something you can pronounce more easily.
