May I know how to deal with my 7 year old adopted daughter who always destroys her dolls, toys, bags, and clothes. She is very happy and grateful when we buy her something. We told her to take care of it, how to use it, and she said yes. But after two weeks or more, I will see her toys or dolls damaged- like the doll has no hands and no feet anymore. We bought a durable doll where the feet and hands cannot be detached but later on, I see that the waist line was torn and the filler was removed and all over her room. I didn't catch her very angry with the dolls etcetera. It seems like she's very curious about what is inside or she will try everything until it is damaged. Seems like she has no care of everything. She will say yes, but she often forgets. Her bag, she carries very well when she goes to school and goes back home so I have no reason to tell her how she will use it properly. Seems like everything is okay. But I'm wondering why her bags are easily torn when actually those bags are durable. Within a year, we bought four school bags (one at a time) and they are now torn. Her clothes, sometimes, when she goes home, it is torn maybe she plays a lot without taking care of it. Her shoes are easily damaged as well.
I gave her oil with essential oils for her hair. It is in the spray bottle. I told her how to use it. She doesn't need to open it but just to spray it . For three weeks, it is okay (actually she confessed that she forgot to use it daily), but just yesterday, I saw her room tiles are oily. She tried to wipe the oil with a rag but of course, it is still noticeable. Then, I saw the empty oil bottle and the cover was separated from the bottle, around one meter away..
She's a sweet girl but since she always breaks or loses something so it is frustrating. What should I do? Hopefully you can have a topic like this in your show. Thank you.
