@ oh I’m so sorry… Hopefully he’ll soften soon. My son came crying and asked why he was like this and I asked him if he really wanted to know (I asked twice) he said YES. So I did, his partner gaslights him (my ex - his dad did that to me so I can spot it a mile off now). I’ve apologized and said don’t ever ask me my opinion again but it feels like I can’t say anything now it sets him off. Let’s hope they both see it in the wisdom of time… take care of yourself plse, it’s so v v painful 😰
@@lilaj2908 Thank you! 🙏🏼 Yes praying praying praying. Deep deep pain. Grieving the loss of our relationship. He’s married and has a 2yo son and one on the way. Trusting God to help us repair our relationship and for forgiveness. I have 3 sons. He’s the oldest. It good to know I’m not alone in this hurt and there are others who are experiencing the same hurt. Praying for a breakthrough in 2025 or for the holidays. Take care. 🥰
@@tammy1308 awwww I really am so sorry to hear! It’s so very fashionable at the moment for adult kids to cut parents off, it’s very upsetting if really you have done all you can to love and care for them. I shall pray for you and your sons too, let’s hope they see the light one day soon. I keep the contact with grandchildren and time heals when love for them grows - 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🥰🥰🎄💓
Yes, keep it light, all this religious stuff can separate families.. it’s dogma anyway so best to keep it personal just for you. I wouldn’t want parents to send me a bible and I’m 70!!
Why do a video on how to teach adult kids to be respectful to their parents, learn that their parents have a lot of knowledge and that advice is not criticism and also it takes a village to raise a family. I'm 67 years old and I never spoke to my parents or grandparents when they gave me advice the way adult children do these days and I did not take it as criticism I took it as advice and most of the time very helpful advice. Makes me laugh adult kids these days just RUclips everything and if parents say anything it's considered criticism and butting in but it's okay when they need your help and they need physical help financial help emotional help for them just to expect it but when you want to give advice on important things we are treated like we are the children. This advice you are giving is just enabling adult children to be more and more disrespectful to their parents

Ditto. I feel ya. I had the hard convo (gently) with my son and now he’s estranged. It backfired on me. Wish I kept my mouth shut. Heartbroken 💔

Btw yes you WERE judging them by saying that!! Maybe check your own judgments rather than blame her for reacting that way.?

There's a lot of good stuff about bringing up kids in the bible anyway
@@maralfniqle5092 I’m sure, but a lot of not great stuff too so best to leave bible beliefs out of it imo

I’m curious what your relationship with your kids is like?
