I have noticed that I am looking for 'my' wow interpretation of the cello suites, that for some reason I hadn't, even though I may have heard YoyoMa, PauCasals, AnnerBylsma, etc. No. i hadn't that interpretation so far. I was looking for the transcendenta, the cosmic, the frictional human yet cosmic spiritual playing of yours. The humble playing suiting the spirit of Bach composing it. And I think it is yours the version I had a lack of and needed. Thank you. You are not playing por the world. You are playing for your mind, your soul, and the cosmos beyong this world. Fantastic. This beautiful performance moves me. As a old man, I still prefer Paul Tortelier's 1983 recording -- alas without video. Dindo does not play the drone in the first movement, for example.
