Sir, thanks for your demonstration. It is the best attack/defence strategy of all, that other martial artists show. It is what animals do in the natural modes of defence/attack. Yours should be the model /standard for all other defence moves shown on youtube. Great job !! well done!! and thanks again.
Excellent video. If you manage to pull either move correctly, the other party is not going to run anywhere anytime soon. Strike & run whenever possible.
Sorry for the late reply. I didn't get a notification, that I noticed, but that's no excuse. Being that the eye jab is mainly for opening the door to a follow up combination of attacks, it would still be effective to use it if your target is wearing glasses. There will still be an involuntary blinking and wincing on their part, and that will still give you a chance to strike at the knee, or to follow up with an elbow (or something of the sort). Thanks again for your question.
@@lmurashchik Why bother risking jamming your fingers on their glasses? Just do a palm strike or a punch to the glasses, would do a lot more damage to the attacker and still set-up for a follow-up strike. Most attackers aren’t going to be wearing glasses/sunglasses so likely a rare situation.

Best Defense is a Good Offense.
would you be more (or less?) likely to eye jab if an opponent was wearing glasses/sunglasses? thank you

@@FreshUF Sure, that would work too. You really think you'd jam your fingers on someone's glasses though?
