Whole lot of errors in this ditty. Bruce Lee died in 1973. He was not a pall bearer at McQueen's funeral. McQueen was a pall bearer at Lee's funeral. Additionally, McQueen had no funeral. He was cremated and his ashes were strewn over the Pacific Ocean.
He really was a great actor.. I saw some of his early roles as a guest star on tv shows prior to 1958. Even in these small roles, you could see his very talented acting skills.
I was glad to see at least a tiny reference to one of his best roles - released not long before he died - Tom Horn. But no mention of another great role - Junior Bonner.
Steve should have won an Oscar for his role in Papillon. And should have remained single . But during his era people would have assumed you were in the closet if not married . Whereas today who really cares about ones personal life unless they're nosey or insecure about their own situation.
Though I can't say I've followed the man's career, I can say his acting style held my attention, and was engrossed throughout the film. If McQueen was in it..... I'd watch it.
Who in God’s name is in charge of these catastrophes ? The narrator, once again as in the Lennon documentary, CONTINUALLY REPEATS HIMSELF . McQeen is laughing
I've always been a fan of McQueen but recently I read a biography about him. He was nothing like the character he portrayed. A very mean man, financially and character wise. He made his second wife Ali McGraw sign 4 pre nups, 1 before and 3 during marriage. A nightmare to work with and utterly self obsessed. He hated Hollywood and everyone in it. The only positive you can say is he was very generous to children's homes as he spent time in one. (Which doesn't excuse his future demeanor. Plenty of people spent time in kids homes.) I really wish I could be positive about him but sometimes your heroes aren't what you think.
You failed to mention that the last year of his life was his happiest. He said he was more at peace than ever before, because he fell madly in love with Jesus.
In Rolando Florida are 2 Bars. One is named the Bullet. 1968 ~ Hollywood EAST. The other bar is named McQueen's. Strange storyline... The American Bar association, gives unclaimed TAX revenue to the Charities, on Orange 🍊 Blossom Trail. Most LAW Students are reform Juvenile Delinquents. They all swear on a stack of Bibles: " Honey, I will never go in that bar With Another Woman ♀️👠." Ergo Nomics: The Lawyer has to open another Bar, for his new legal secretary.

Not brought up but prior to Steve's death. It is said that he became a Christian.
