Quite a tragedy....for the guy bank robber who wanted to finish up college, compliments of Steve McQueen who played that role. Great actor, he's always been in my book.
I've seen films without any background music and it was a delight! Music isn't needed at all in films! The silent movie era gave birth to music in films, as it was serving a purpose of telling the audience what was happening, before the screen with dialogue was shown. We can synchronise the audio and video for over 120 years now, but this silly music won't go away😂
Why does the boss tell Willi to take a bath? Are they lovers? Are they in some sadistic business relationship? Anyway, that Willie character scares me with his smile trying to catch our hero out.
"super tarzan" ~ Marcello Mastroianni's character in Fellini's 8 1/2 ~ 1963. The line is a reference to this movie. Some of the movie reminds me of Tangerine ~ the street scenes. McQueen is in both movies.

Good movie based on an actual robbery. Several of the cops used in this movie were involved in the actual robber attempt.
