One word with birds : PATIENCE.
I've never had a problem with cockatiels fighting with each other. They much rather fleeing than fighting.

Absolutely adorable. Monti wasn’t too thrill at first at the sight of Jingles. Monti kept opening his beak tru the bars as though he is ready to. It’s Jingles. Then Monti was chanting over and over again with the same tones and gesture from 3.05 to 3.57 in the video as thought he was saying over and over again “ Who are you? State your name!” Jingle definitely wanted to meet Monti but I can tell it’s a little too soon. Monti need more time to accept Jingles. In time like you mentioned. Thanks for sharing.
Monty seems more content now. Tomorrow I might let the two of them out together

How did you end up introducing them into the same cage? I already have a Cockatiel now named Lexa but I'm getting another one soon and I'm very scared that they will fight if I just plop them in Lexa's cage (After I've let them see each other for a few weeks and they would also be out together too for a while.)
Put their cages side by side and let them out together. Sometimes they may go back in the same cage if they like each other. Sometimes they like to have their own cage as they may like their own space. If they absolutely love each other they will go in the cage together but always keep the second cage on hand because you never know if they will fight. They may get along for awhile and fight later on. My two males shared a cage until years later they fought badly and hand to have separate cages side by side.
@@Loveofpets I have two male cockatiels that fussed a lot when I tried to put them in the same cage for the first time,so I put them on the cage top play gym and turned down the room lights, leaving on two night lights. Several hours later I checked on them and found one on a perch outside of his cage and other on the floor of the cage looking through the bars at the first one. That was 13 years ago and the cage door has never ever been closed .One of the two will sleep on the cage floor or both will sleep outside the cage on soft flexible perches, but the two almost never sleep in the cage together. Newspaper on the floor handles the poop and the birds can decide what time they want to go to sleep. When I see them roosting, I turn off the lights- no fussing whatsoever. There is a second cage loaded with toys all over the outside and they play with them every day, but never go inside that cage, even though the doors and cage top are open 24/7. I love my cockatiels.
Have you done a post on introducing a new flock member? My two linnies are caged next to my lovebird however letting them out same time scares me. I've been starting to do out of cage time with all three but their cages are far apart because the lovebird really wants to pester the linnies. This video is super cute and inspiring that maybe my birds can be acquaintances. :)

Use caution with your lovebird as they can be nippy to other birds. So far my male Lovebird is nice to my other birds, he loves my budgies and likes one of my linnies and feeds him.
I have the same problem you mentioned that when the birds are out they love each other but I'm the same cage they fight. So how long before you put them in the same cage ?
I never did put them together. I find that once they fight in the cage, they never stop fighting but you can try and see what happens.
@@Loveofpets thank you it's been two days I've had them they have been good playing together outside. But when they are in the cage it's not good. Do you recommend I get another cage or is it too early to say ? Also the new girl has been raising her bottom towards her food and not allowing my old male one too eat out of his separate bowl.

Unfortunately it's a chance you take. You could still get one and house them separately.
This video is a year old but I got a three month old female cockatiel about a week ago and I wanted to get another female one, but the breeder told me about how she’ll start to get aggressive with me now that she has a companion, but then a lot of people in the comments have more than one cockatiel and they don’t seem to have many problems. What do you think about it, or can you give me input on this please? Like will they still get along with me or will they hate me from then on
All my cockatiels still like me. Two females may fight with other but should still like you. You may need separate cages if they don't get along. I know people with lots of cockatiels and they all like their owners.

I have a 15 week old Linnie he’s so cute how can I get him to step up into me ? He’s ok when I catch him and he cuddles in x
He has to trust you and be comfortable with you first. Offer your hand with a treat and say step up. Repeat it every day, and if he does not want to step up then don't force him. Try not to catch him as this makes him afraid of hands, let him come to you.

Since its a baby it should be easier to tame or train with time and patience.

Stormy suddenly passed away in July. The necropsy showed he had something wrong with his brain.
@@Loveofpets so he had a sickness in his Brian and die. That's bad news
