TRADITION: There is a coin that is placed in the batter of the cake before it is baked. When it is served, the pieces are cut in a specific order. The first piece is dedicated to God, the second to the home and then from there on the pieces are cut in descending order from the oldest person to the youngest. Whoever finds the coin in their piece is promised good health, luck and fortune in the coming year.

Hi. Thanks for sharing this recipe. I made a cake today using 400 grams flour and the rest of the ingredients are the same except that I added 1\2 tsp mastica . It turned out pretty good. Can you confirm the flour amount in your recipe? Please and thank you.
