Discovered Dr Carson only recently in terms of reading some of his writings. Knew about him, but not until recently got to read his “For the love of God” books on Mc Cheyne’s reading plan. Brevity and such a blessing. This is a precious sermon on one of my favorite passages, John 17. May the Lord bless him in humility to minister for His glory for many years still.

I really enjoyed this timetaking, piercing investigating, exploring explanation of the glorious gospel, honouring both the Father and the Son. It is a priviledge for one's heart to praise the Lord and through messages like these we find ways to actually do so.
Perhaps few have commented because Dr. Carson is so incredibly thorough with his messages, and there is nothing left for anyone else to say. 😝 (With the exception of "thank you", though!)
I love D.A Carson. His insights in the word of God are so deep. I like the way he integrates concepts from OT. May God raise more servants like him.
