I love how this car perfectly represents how underrated Lexus is : just the essentials of smart and discreet tech, unlike the Germans who are literally vomiting transformers every day out of their factories, and a subtle mix of « luxurious, comfortable, racy design ». Beautiful car 👌🏻

Until I saw your 2020 Car of the Year piece on the convertible, I had never thought I would want, much less own, a Lexus. Your enthusiasm for this car pushed me to go test drive one. Sold! Mine arrived five months later and now I too, enjoy driving mountain and canyon roads. Guys reading this: Don’t mess around - Go with the convertible.

This is exactly what Lexus needs to be doing in every single product they make. Taking a Camry or corolla dressing it up and charging 10-20K more is not luxury

This car essentially puts the RCF and RCF track edition into limbo. No reason for those cars to exist anymore.
Those have the torque vectoring rear differential
@@naveenthemachine Yah but still not worth the 100k Lexus charges for them. And the RCF still has the interior straight from 2013 haha. Also when they reviewed the track edition RCF they really didn't like how it drove despite the nice diff.
I went to the Lexus Performance Driving School in Austin (COTA), on the big track we drove LC500's and the instructors drove RC-F's. The LC500 struggles with trans cooling under hard use, where the RC-F doesn't (it has a dedicated trans cooler).
Agreed that the LC largely makes the RC-F obsolete in terms of looks, exclusivity, interior design etc. But I really wish it had the RC-F's trans cooler (I own a LC convertible).

8:30 now this is the exact reason why I will never move to USA. You guys have 5 lanes and all are congested, while in Europe most of highways have 2 lanes and we're cruising freely each of us with a different speed. Leave the left lanes for overtaking!
This video was done in California (specifically Los Angeles), which has some of the worst traffic in the nation. If you want driving roads, there are better places to live than California.

LOL Looks same as before. Why it's sill slow seller you don't see on the road.. Interior looks the same too out of place. Can't reach the screen, no touch screen... Tech?? Past too..
The screen is accessed via touchpad/buttons in the lower center console, not a touchscreen. Why change it? It's gorgeous.
