The V6 had more top end power but didn't have a lot of low end torque, the goal of this new turbo 4 is to provide more low end torque and a more linear power band than the peakier V6. It's also more fuel efficient than the V6.
"The NX 300 and RX 350 share a lot in common, but they have important differences. A few key differences are: Size The RX 350 offers more space for passengers and cargo. Engine The RX 350's V6 engine delivers more horsepower. Fuel Economy The NX 300 gets slightly better fuel economy, at 25 mpg combined. The RX 350 has a combined fuel economy of 23 mpg. Interior Options The RX 350 has standard interior options and upgrades that aren't available for the NX 300. Price The NX 300 starts at a lower price than the RX 350."
I couldn't agree more. Toyota's V6 is potent and had great pull in the previous generation. This seems lethargic. Transversely, I have a '23 Acura RDX, and that (while a slightly smaller vehicle) has a 2.0 T with less HP/Torque and it hauls!
I agree. I have a old Lexus RX 330 with the 3.3L 3MZ-FE and AWD. it is fun to really step on it because the v6 roars and sounds really cool. The bigger engine also makes it more fun to drive. Also the car does seem to be nimble. Though I removed stuff from it to make it lighter.
This is a very quiet car even on the highway!
Watching back your previous RX350 V6 videos made me realize 4th gen is peak RX.

Love the color looks mad good on it
Lexus makes some nice cars
I love you from kurdistan Winding Road Magazine
I've always wondered about the difference between the RX350 and the NX300. I rather like the RX350 for some much better room.

Look Cool 😎
I wish they kept the V6 engine, there are people that still prefer a naturally aspirated V6 engine over a turbo, four-cylinder or hybrid.

At least the TX 500h still has it
The fact that it has so small trunk is ridiculous. It’s a SUV, pretty large one, it should carry lots of luggage 🤦🏻♂️
Is it the quietest in its class?
Does anyone know what gear he is using to film?
The new Toyota SUVs are so nice, it kind of makes the Lexus irrelevant.
A proper diesel-sounding Lexus 😂
You all know exactly what your favorite Toyota hater is going to say 😂
People hate the truth, even myself but we’ve come to a point where buying a Toyota shouldn’t be considered as a first option at all
the facelift grille is the same as the new honda grills and i hate it. looks like a fish or something with a weird nose
Just another boring overpriced Toyota with leather. Hard pass
