There were so many people who wanted to love and give a good home to Dakota but CPS was not about to let that happen. What are your thoughts on the approval process for these two foster parents. I am so fed up with hearing about all these dcyf failures! Not that they don't need to be heard, but it's so sad and makes me so fearful for the safety of children everywhere 💔
Thank you guys for being a voice for those that can no longer speak for themselves. I love how you are honest and don't hold back. I know this has to be tough researching and speaking about such horrible things regularly, so please remember to take time for the good and beautiful. You guys deserve the world! ❤
Very sad if there's responsible family to care for the children, that's where they should go once the family member had all the checks , family should always be the first place to go 😢😢 But then no one case the same , when I was young child my family broke up and we were initially sent to foster care where the care given was great then we were taken from foster care to be cared for by family untill father of family could take us , worst mistake ever, I would have been safer in Scotland's social services 😢😢😢
No one should have to tell a 340lb person, that "you will break a 91lb boy bones & stop him from breathing, if you put your weight on him." She should not have the other children. She obviously isn't smart enough.
How thick does a person need to be before they can't work that out 😔 she knew! She'd have had chairs creak and break, problems standing on steps or anything else that needs her weight putting on it. Bicycles, stair lifts, trampolines, even small lifts usually have a maximum weight of 22 stone! a child's head isn't designed to have anyone lay on it, whatever their size. No class is necessary, just need to be fussier about who they give children too. And what about the other children in the house?? His death has been found as homicide, why are the other children still under her roof?
Well those types of people generally aren't known for high intelligence. You don't see many 160 IQ morbidly obese people... just like you don't see 65 year old morbidly obese people. IF they were smart people, they would certainly live longer.
@@susanpaisley3534 exactly I'm a bigger woman and I know ya can't go around sitting on children. Plus that's not how you restrain a child you bear hug them and distribute your weight I have a special needs boy and they had me take a class on it 😔
I once dated a martial artist. He was also a body builder. And i was also a martial artist. This man was about 280 lbs of sheer muscle and height. He'd never spar with me because, according to him, he wasn't competent enough to spar with someone so small. Either he'd hurt me, or I'd hurt him (as small stature is physically useful in our art; Southern Style Kung Fu.) Could I have bested him? Maybe. Maybe not. He never took that risk outside of class. He was a gentle giant. He knew how big he was. And, the thing is, smaller people can dominate Southern Style. But he was good. And he never wanted to accidentally knock me out. Because, to him, I looked very small. To him, it wasn't even a question of gender. He didn't want to ACCIDENTALLY hurt a smaller opponent. And while I was an excellent student (I own push hands), he knew his size and strength. Don't sit on children.
@@Xassaw you know north Korea doesn't have CPS right? Their murder rate is also nowhere near ours. Much worse place than where we're at, but comparing the two is ridiculous
What is even sadder most children, are removed because of their parents being impoverished. If we actually helped parents, most kiddos wouldn't even be in foster care.
Exactly! My mother took my sister out of school for less then a week because my mothers grandmother was dying. She told them she was dying. The school called fricken CPS and tried to take her away. We are fine now, that was like..10 years ago? Maybe 11 idk XD
That is true but at 46 I was shocked seeing how many rescued by police who had to call cps (a YT channel with bodycam footage) and I do see now how many kids ARE rescued who should be. I do agree they take too any kids who shouldn't be taken.
13:08 interesting.. they separate him from his ONE sister who he loved so much because he’d apparently be better without any other kids in the home, but proceed to place him in a home with THREE other children who he’s never known before then.. wow! What another logical and genius idea from the system to protect kids!
She had the chance to be adopted. They often separate siblings in that case. I'm not saying it's right but they do it all the time. It's not a litter of puppies! The system should have left them both with the family who loved him from day one!!😢😢😢
Very true! Kids (and adults) who are kind to all creatures are more sensitive and empathetic, I’ve never met someone who is like that who is not a kind/authentic person
And the kids who stomp on bugs for fun always grow up to have low emotional intelligence and all their relationships are strained and unhealthy. Parents need to do better.
So she basically tortured this kid to death. He was pinned underneath her, face down in the ground, screaming in fear and pain... that's the last thing Dakota experienced and all she did was lay there on him? Where's the justice?
There's multiple videos that prove she killed this poor boy on purpose. No way someone her age can believe putting her entire weight on a small child for 7 whole minutes is okay. If she's really dumb enough to think that what she did was an appropriate amount of force, then she's clearly not in the right mind to take care of any children.
that's the thing. even if she didn't mean to kill him (which is a bit of a hard sell) that means she is not nearly competent enough to care for children
"When I turn 22 years old, I will live with Mrs. Tarnowski. I will be tall, and have 100,000 frogs, a big leopard shark, 500 fish, 2 dogs, and 1 cat." What an absolute Chad. This kid was going places.
the system failed him, as it does many others. he should've been allowed to grow up in a loving home. CPS robbed him of a future and murdered him with their negligence, as they are just as responsible as Jennifer.
Omg!! My mother and I watch dateline/48 hours etc. Our running joke is just what you said. Pray that no one ever says you light up a room bc it literally foreshadows that person's death. I'm so glad you've noticed the same thing!! Can't wait to tell mom we're not the only ones who have noticed this! 😊
They literally have PROOF that this thing killed that poor boy and they say "nah, you're not at fault". Speechless. CPS are apparently the ones the kids should be protected from
When I was a teenager I wanted to be a social worker but my Aunt told me, no you don't. You'll see things and your hands will be tied. Now I'm 49 and nothing has changed. 35 YEARS LATER AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED, HOW CAN THAT BE?????!!!!!!!
@theodorebazin363 nobody cares about kids/teens in the system. Its pretty much the same in every country. They aren't going to spend time and money on it.
I've seen parents that have make small mistakes and have done everything to fix the mistakes they have made by working cps caseplans and doing as asked and cps does not take that into consideration... parents who love their kids to death and do anything for them have their children removed... but parents who don't deserve children... the poor kids are still in the horrible situations they should never be in still kept with them.... Cps is supposed to protect children but from these videos learned that cps is more dangerous to a child then helpful the whole system needs fixed drastically... for the safety of the children I'm a mother of 3 beautiful children, a 6 year girl, a 4 year old autistic boy, and an 8 month old baby girl this breaks my heart to see children in these awful situations 💔 😢 REST IN PEACE DAKOTA YOU ARE LOVED BY ALL. I HOPE YOU GET TO LIVE YOU'RE DREAMS OF EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO DO IN LIFE UP IN HEAVEN. YOU ARE HEAVENS LITTLE ANGEL AND YOU ARE MISSED SO MUCH. You never deserved this fate
How odd that every single person who wanted Dakota and his sister and fought for their welfare and to have them, were all denied, only increasing Dakota's issues.

I appreciate the way this channel refuses to remember these kids only as tragic victims, but insists on underlining the fact that these were everyday kids with individual quirks and hobbies and aspirations, and they wouldn't want to be remembered as nothing but a tragedy.
Thank you for recognizing this. I think by insisting on acknowledging each victim as an individual and the qualities that makes them human, it really helps hit home to people that this could theoretically happen to anyone. People like to put mental barriers up to think it couldn't happen to their next door neighbor or someone in their family, but we all have to learn the signs to look out for and be vigilant. Furthermore, I'm just sick of these kids being looked at as statistics, and talking about who they were as people is the least I could do to push back against that.
Why did CPS take that poor boy out of living homes? They do this way to often. I’m so sick of hearing how CPS has failed child after child. It’s disgusting.
The majority of kids are removed because of poverty. Instead of doing what is best for the kiddos and helping to support parents.....they just take them. 😢 they make a shit ton of money on adoptions. There is a lot of info online about this too btw, it's truly horrifying.
I am jobless right now and i have a degree in psych. I want to help kids like dakota. Even tho i am eligible to be a social worker for the state cps, never will i ever work for cps. Id rather be jobless than to fight for a child to a system that doesnt care. That poor poor boy
@@NeuralArchitect sadly yes. They make major money every year off adoptions. They take kids from perfectly fine homes and hand them to monsters “foster to adopt” all because of the 💵💵. It’s sickening. For every adoption or placement they get millions in grants. It’s a whole rabbit hole.
@xdani_thethinkingneko I never talk about this but I had my son taken from me 3 years ago and he was a sick kid so they put him 2.5 hour drive from me and I'm poor with no car and dhs said they didn't have time to facilitate visits. Like I said he has health challenge and needed to be put on kidney transplant list and it took over 2 years for him to get healthy enough and cleared for transplant (he got covid and immune response brought out another chronic disease that almost killed him before could get a diagnosis to treat him) he finally got the transplant and he was to be returned to me 3wks post transplant. The judge terminated my rights due to him being in foster care for 2 years. He was 16 years old! And the judge was very aware and informed that he wanted to be home and that he was not happy there with someone else's mother. Then they filed for her to adopt him!!! And she did. Since he still has ongoing health issues (lifelong) they are requiring him to stay in the system until he is 19! That crushed us both. Even though we talk and text daily, I have been grieving my loss of him since then til this very day until we can be reunited again. Fuck CPS/DHS! They have caused my entire family to be traumatized by the system and we will never be the same.
Holding children down is never ok. I was sat on, and held down by a large adult as a child. This poor boy never had a chance, my heart goes out to his family.
@ Yeah looking back I really should have. I honestly suppressed a lot of those memories for years. It seems like the older I get, the more I remember. Things come back to me that I hadn’t thought about in years.
Dakota's aspirations for when he reached 22 had me tickled, and heartbroken at the same time because no matter how fantastical his dreams seemed, they were taken from him. 😢
She did it on purpose because he ran away and told someone that he was being abused. When Dakota said he would run away again, and this time someone might call police, the monster that weighed 4x of Dakota ended him on purpose!
@@downhomesunsetthat’s what it was. She was mad. As a foster parent if it’s that bad don’t crush the boy. Request a new placement. But she was on a power trip and wasn’t gonna “lose” that was all.
My mother died. She abused my bio brother and me for years. Had him at almost 600 lbs, on 47 different meds, and she had him going to multiple specialists. Dcs got involved. I had to fight tooth and nail to keep him. They fought me with every fiber of their being, and took me to court 13 times in 13 months. I finally adopted him. But every night, I was scared I would lose him.
The murderer had a BMI of 🚩 76.2! The kids were sl aves, she couldn't do chores, let alone wipe herself. The husband should be banned from being a principal, lose his retirement benefits & be charged- he was a MANDATED REPORTER & watched a murder in real time & did nothing. 🚩 With the evidence of all these repeated cases, we can draw no other conclusion that CPS is rife with child ab users!
Because the goal is "reunification". (IE, for the sate workers getting megabux per hour, do as little work as possible until they meet their minimum for a full pension) They don't want the foster kids to start to "love" their foster parents because then they might not want to leave when the time comes to put them back with their slimeball drug addicted parents. They want the kids as miserable, confused and tired of being in foster care as possible so that when they go back "home" (even if home is awful, disgusting and unsafe,) they wont want to be back in the system, so they won't tell anyone theyre being abused.
@@lornetc except they refused to reunify this child with his loving family members and concluded he should be living away from his sister...that like the opposite of a reunification goal.

And this is why Mary Beth Bonaventura, the former director of DCFS, quit and told Holcomb (Indiana Gov.) that children will die because of what that idiot Holcomb did.
Kinda sounds like it's DCFS's fault, they just took a child from a decent family for the fun of it, yet there's at least 1k cases on where DCFS or any other child service refused to help a obviously abused child, people who work in the justice system or any other service that's supposed to be there to uphold the law and help citizens especially children should be held to a higher standard, is that done? @moirabeast8469 welcome to Indiana. If you want to get away with crime, come here. I have respect for law enforcement but ours are absolutely useless. My ex punched holes in my walls, threatened me, covered my brand new vehicle in spray paint, then proceeded to move in next door to my apartment. Tried to get a PO and judge Brian cook told me it was just young stupid love and to get over it. Dismissed my protective order and I had to pay for all the damages he did out of pocket while he posted all about on facebook. Why would they allow his sister to be adopted without him? They should never, ever allow this. That is psychologically damaging for both children, and that’s just for starters, it’s beyond wrong.
That is unfortunately just how it is. Even in cases of god parents, siblings are often split up. In my own case family's case. My god parent was my dad's older brother, my sister's god parent was my dad's sister, and finally my little brother's god parent is my mom's lil brother. Had anything happened to my parents we would have been split up and I would have seen my siblings once a year.
I will never understand why social services removes children from safe foster homes and puts them in abusive foster homes where they are abused to death
because they don't actually want to help children. the only people that even think about the kids are the real parents. everyone is at best, lying to be polite. nothing more, nothing less.
I suspect around 50% of the decisions to remove children from foster homes is due to a power trip. Miss an appointment? Kids removed. Don't adhere to some total BS your case worker deems appropriate, even though they have no clue? Kids removed. Have met a few good CPS workers but majority of them were heartless and cruel.
@@thetimmonbut if what you refer to real parents is the biological parents then I don't think so either. Some people just don't deserve kids, they don't mean to be a parent I guess.
It was difficult to hear this story and keep listening. The ugliness and vile actions that took place, and were literally captured on camera, yet the ones in power refuse to acknowledge it as what it is. It wasn't a punishment. It was murder. And the fact that this little boy, who had so much potential and was so much more, and could have been so much more, lived for only ten years... and even now isn't getting what he deserves. He deserves justice, and his name deserves to be remembered. The last speech from this video brought me to tears. God bless Dakota.
He was traumatized. Taken from his parents (rightfully so), moved to aunt, to grandma, then to good foster parents that wanted to adopt him & his sissy to then be stripped from them to a home where he’d be without his sister and eventually be murdered. Oh my heart hurts so much!!!! Dakota I am so very sorry. You were let down first by your parents and then CPS!!! CPS is awful. They ruin kids. They should be held accountable for these senseless deaths. Until then, these horrific acts on children will continue. I can’t stop crying over this.
The courts and cps infuriate me!!!! They are supposed to PROTECT kids!! I seriously want to know WHY they denied the one family that truly loved this little boy to adopt him? I can't stand their way of thinking
They truly seem to profit in someway from unwell or dead kids. And never place them with people who love them. When my brother was born, CPS became involved as he was born addicted. My grandma and Nana offered to take him, begged really. Especially when they learned that CPS intended to put him temporarily with the man who signed the birth certificate . He wasn't a good guy at all and after it was decided in court that he and grandma would split custody until something permanent could be decided, he took my brother and ran off with him across state lines. AMBER alerts were issued and they were found nearly 2000 miles away. My brother was returned to my grandma who hired a lawyer in order to be able to gain full custody and thankfully, she got it. @@melcurll

If i had to guess the case worker would be tried for negligence as well. But since they're a government worker the system is doing everything to hide/downplay the series of negligence. Bit of a stretch but i can't help but think the case worker and this "licesed adopter" were abusing the system to get child support payments from the government. You'd have to have a really good reason why a child was taken from 3 families that would have been happy to take care of him (2 of which probably had the financial capability, not sire about the aunt) and given to this adopter couple who already have 3 kids and stated they were done adopting.
They were also "investigating" how he died due to mechanical aphyxiation WHEN THERE WERE VIDEOS SHOWING HER SITTING ON HIM. HOW IS IT THAT SHE'LL GET A MAX OF 6 YEARS FOR MURDERING A CHILD FFS. This is so infuriating.
its supposed to be a method taught to people who have care kids to "calm" them. to basically hold the child down tight or pin them down. its a load of rubbish but I hear it used time and time again and as an adopted kid it was a method used on myself too. its supposed to be a restraint technique but multiple children have not come out of it alive or uninjured.

It's a government agency run by bureaucrats who have zero understanding of life outside of government policy and systems. They're fit to mop floors and nothing more.
The MOMENT a random kid runs up to a stranger asking them to call the police, I wouldn't even hesitate. It makes it that much more serious after the caretaker tells me to "mind my own business". Nah, it is my business now, and this child isn't going anywhere with you until the police get here
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that restricting a person's movement does the opposite of calming them down. Why don't so many people just treat children like *_people_* ?
If held properly, safely and spoken to in a calm voice or sang or hummed to; it can have a profound effect upon the person being held. But that takes some experience, a lot of patience and love to do it properly. Flopping 4x his weight on him is certainly not the way to do this!

Then I ran away from my guardians house at maybe 13/14 and nobody noticed. I came back hungry Not all foster parents are bad. I had some better than my own parents but .. I vividly remember people vanishing over time. They never got to go home. We pretended they did.
Seems like all of us foster kiddos were “saved from a bad situation” just to be placed in countless more. I would have been better off with my bio fam than most of the crooked foster parents they put me with. A part of me really wants to work for CPS so I can try to do better for these kids. Most case workers, case managers, therapists etc don’t have kids and seemingly don’t even really like kids. Yet they’re in charge of kiddos that’s already been through hell and back? I really hate the world we live in. It’s gotten insane

I’m convinced that these judges wanted this kid to suffer. There’s no other way to look at this, and it’s fucking disgusting. Yet another innocent and absolutely wonderful individual that the system has failed. I hope he’s resting easy knowing he was so loved by the people who tried so hard to fight for him. I hope the system crumbles one day and gets rebuilt into what it’s supposed to be.
I said something similar in my own comment. Something absolutely was going on! Like… was he the illegitimate child of someone powerful? I can’t fathom why they kept taking him out of homes where he was thriving! Even stating he would do best with families without children but all I have heard from the other families was that he was fine with children? And if that was the case what about the 21 year old who petitioned to get him back? Just him and not him and his sister? I never heard of him and his wife having kids. My conspiracy brain is telling me that there was something about Dakota. I mean… he was put in multiple homes where he thrived and they kept pulling him. A part of me wonders if they placed the children in homes expecting to hear bad news… and when they heard nothing but good things.. they yanked him until finally placing him with that land whale (I never insult someone… but I just can’t with her) and he dies in her care! The fact that they act like she wasn’t really responsible and gave her such little time… I wish I could dig into every single person connected with his case because I am convinced he was placed with her on purpose.
I was thankful to never have been put in foster care. I was at an orphanage from when I was born to 6 months, and I'm very fortunate to have my adoptive parents be good parents. I was a troubled kid, anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, everything. I don't remember much before I was 14, but apparently when I was 7 I had my first suicide attempt. Throughout the years all the way up until I was 16, I was on so many medications, that they ended up hurting me more than helping me. I was being over medicated and I was lucky placed in a respite place that actually cared about me, and decided to see how I did off of all my medications. Lo and behold, I was doing better OFF of them than I was ON. I faintly remember some instances when I was much younger, maybe around 8 or 9? Where I got physically violent with my mother. She's a bigger woman, but despite receiving bruises from my outbursts, she always made sure she was situated in a way she wouldn't crush me when she would bear hug me to prevent me from hitting her. But the services that claim to "help" people, while some are great, looking back at my past, a lot were not so great. I had one psychiatrist that wouldn't even listen to my mom when she said a medication wasn't working or was making it worse. I had another psychiatrist prescribe me an antidepressant with a stimulant and the combination made me so much more aggressive I physically ripped my mom's shirt apart, when I was only 11. Keep in mind I've also always been a small person. I'm 25 now and only 5'1 and 112 pounds, so me at 11 was even smaller. I also remember a time to when I was out in a mental place called Marillac and despite me and my parents saying I didn't react well to stimulants, they forced me to take one. The outcome? My blood pressure was 63 over 42. I was barely conscious and they almost had to give me an IV. Some of these places just really only care about the money, not the people, and it's unfortunate for the facilities they are great at their job. It makes people doubt them, become hesitant to ask for help, and lose trust in those we're supposed to lean on when we need help.
Hearing and seeing the people protesting literally gave me chills. This poor sweet baby had his life taken way too fast and he absolutely deserves justice!!🖤
@downhomesunset & @LokiSherry *_Dually noted._* I adjusted my comment using your suggestion, and I'll be including my apology to God's precious manatees in my next confession. They didn't deserve for me to draw such an analogy when she's unmatched by anything in nature. She truly is just a literal monster.
Yeah sure...if it's investigated with incredible nuances. There are people within the system who do their jobs, or are even prevented from doing their job because of bad case management from higher positions, so the outcome literally was out of their hands. Judges are a different story altogether. But not every agent involved, say in DCS, can just be guilty by association. But I agree, there should be more accountability.
I don’t want to speak for anyone, but I’m not sure that’s what the intent was. I think they meant that the crusher should catch charges, but that all of the judges and DCFS officials involved should face consequences too. There are entirely too many stories like this one.

How thick does a person need to be before they can't work that out 😔 she knew! She'd have had chairs creak and break, problems standing on steps or anything else that needs her weight putting on it. Could I have bested him? Maybe. Maybe not. He never took that risk outside of class. He was a gentle giant. He knew how big he was. And, the thing is, smaller people can dominate Southern Style. But he was good. And he never wanted to accidentally knock me out. Because, to him, I looked very small.

Why does it seem like when a child is thriving in a foster care situation, that DCS removes them immediately from that home?
Because the goal is "reunification". (IE, for the sate workers getting megabux per hour, do as little work as possible until they meet their minimum for a full pension) They don't want the foster kids to start to "love" their foster parents because then they might not want to leave when the time comes to put them back with their slimeball drug addicted parents. They want the kids as miserable, confused and tired of being in foster care as possible so that when they go back "home" (even if home is awful, disgusting and unsafe,) they wont want to be back in the system, so they won't tell anyone theyre being abused.

They truly seem to profit in someway from unwell or dead kids. And never place them with people who love them. When my brother was born, CPS became involved as he was born addicted. My grandma and Nana offered to take him, begged really. Especially when they learned that CPS intended to put him temporarily with the man who signed the birth certificate . He wasn't a good guy at all and after it was decided in court that he and grandma would split custody until something permanent could be decided, he took my brother and ran off with him across state lines.

The fact that they act like she wasn’t really responsible and gave her such little time…
I wish I could dig into every single person connected with his case because I am convinced he was placed with her on purpose.
Institutionalized child abuse? I wouldn't be surprised anymore, unfortunately.
I cant believe how good the 21 year old was. When i was 21, i was deciding between beer or liquor, let alone adopting a kid.
I can't stop thinking about his poor sister.. she will grow up and everytime she needs to feel safe/supported she will miss him dearly . ..
People that big shouldn't be allowed to be foster parents
That poor boy had no chance. I'm a fairly strong woman, and I wouldn't have been able to free myself from underneath the wretched monstrosity.
All manatees are offended by this comment 😂
@@LokiSherryMonstrosity is a better word, an o bees monstrosity!

I adjusted my comment using your suggestion, and I'll be including my apology to God's precious manatees in my next confession. They didn't deserve for me to draw such an analogy when she's unmatched by anything in nature. She truly is just a literal monster.

Your reply had me lmao tho, I have to admit.

I can’t stress enough that all dcfs and judges should be held accountable in these tragic circumstances that could have been prevented
👏🏾💯

Yeah sure...if it's investigated with incredible nuances. There are people within the system who do their jobs, or are even prevented from doing their job because of bad case management from higher positions, so the outcome literally was out of their hands. Judges are a different story altogether. But not every agent involved, say in DCS, can just be guilty by association. But I agree, there should be more accountability.
It's not the woman who crushed him who's to blame, it's the judges and DCFS. That's what your claim is?
I don’t want to speak for anyone, but I’m not sure that’s what the intent was. I think they meant that the crusher should catch charges, but that all of the judges and DCFS officials involved should face consequences too. There are entirely too many stories like this one.
Rest in peace dakota just from hearing about him I can immediately tell he was a good kid fly high…🕊️😔 he would have had a bright and beautiful future again rest in peace you will be missed❤
I think a full physical and mental exam should be part of foster care licensure. If you can't take care of yourself because of your weight, you shouldn't be able to foster.
Apparently they do that, they just ignore the incompetent behavior after these gross people are hired . It's nast
Anyone morbidly obese should not be allowed to take children--there’s always a potential that they may be unbalanced-she clearly was
@@justicesmith-stevenson9920why you don’t have to constantly be reevaluated is beyond me. Same with driving tests... the idea you take a test once and you’re set for life is crazy.

I had to have one. I really don’t know what Indiana was doing here 😢
That’s like a dumpster truck on top of a Full grown human, how does these unfit people end up with these foster children, they evidently don’t vet them very well.😢
Ok, this one gets to me personally...I have had nightmares that I was being crushed...They are some of the worst that I ever had. This coupled with the fact that I too was abused as a child, I feel mortified as I am unable to break away from imagining what he went thru easily...
Sitting on others is something that school bullies commonly do.
This does infuriate me, given Cps handed a small child over to a creature that weighs as much as much as it does and that has a low emotional iq.
Right like come on now!

Counties get tens of thousands of dollars when a child is placed in foster care but nothing when the child is placed with family.
Imagine being squished to death. You can’t breathe. You try to move and wiggle yourself out but the harder you fight for your life the harder your held down because fighting for your life is seen as “acting out” or not submitting
even when he progressively stopped moving and screaming, before finally stop responding at all. she didn't move for several minutes. Let's face it: She killed him on purpose and tried to frame it as an accident. I think people don't realize how horrific his last 2 minutes of life was.🤢😡
i love that this was about dakota, not just his tragic death
33:00 this is why I LOVE this channel. The young victims are highlighted. We learn who they were, their likes, dislikes, fav. Color, fave show, the cute way they spoke etc. This channel is very thoughtful and put time and care into these stories. So THANK YOU YERGY AND DREWBY
I can’t even believe, a sweat hog, that’s just under 400 lbs would even think of doing something this twisted! I also don’t understand why his family members , nor the young foster dad, wasn’t allowed to adopt him! It’s like they found the worst possible situation, and wanted him to suffer! There needs to be a law passed holding CPS responsible! I know Anyia’s father, was trying to get that law passed under Anyia’s law. Hopefully it will pass, in every state, and people will finally be held accountable for their massive corruption and mistakes!
CPS is NOT about protecting children, it is to punish the parents.
This is just sad because it's true.
You sound like a parent who's had run ins with CPS.
Then the parents should have thought about that before popping out kids they either can't or won't take care of. Everyone loves to blame "the system", but why do kids end up in said system? Because of the ones who created them.
@@profd65i have never had a single case with cps. I've never even had allegations made, and I still feel the exact same way. working in family medicine you just see and hear stuff that makes you never look at the system the same.
Amen to that.
This story is soul crushing.
It hurts my heart that the organization meant to protect children completely destroyed this child....
The more they ripped him from the people who loved him the worst off he was... just so sad.
The organization needs to be held accountable for what they did to this child.
RIP Dakota. You didn't deserve this.
A lot of this sweet boys story takes place in my hometown & I have not heard a single word about it???? Your page has single-handedly convinced me to become a social worker & now I see we really need it here
