A sad realization for me after watching this film, is considering the fact that Cole's grandmother has never moved on because she felt her daughter and Cole still needed her all this time so she stayed for them.😔😢
Good take! It’s probably safe to assume that she “moved on” after Cole opened up to his mom, so I think there’s a possibility of closure in that head canon.
One of the realizations I had.. Was the woman in the kitchen who we thought was his Mom... May have actually been his Grandmother... And that's why she looked like his Mom from behind. The reason he was scared of her right then might be because she is living through the past abuse at times... She called him Lenny because maybe he looks a lot like his Grandfather. Then the other time she is at peace with her death because she loves her daughter and grandson.
@@TexasTigressDesigns Interesting theory but I'm not entirely convinced because earlier in the film Cole's mother discovers evidence that would suggest his grandmother has been in almost every photograph with the family intentionally but also Cole's admission to his mother at the end further suggest that his grandmother's spirit is quite rational and of sound enough mind to have a discussion with him about intricate details of his mother's past; similar to the doctor played by Bruce Willis.
15:00 the dead ppl told Cole about the teacher when the teacher was little. Cole didn't like the way the teacher was looking at him - he doesn't like when ppl realize he's not normal and stare at him that way, that's why he started bugging out - because the teacher was bugging out that Cole knew and he couldn't change the look on his face. 18:37 The doctor is the movie's director M. Me too, it had a little flashlight keychain that you had to squeeze to make it come on. But my sister who was in second grade was always home before me. Kids nowadays are sheltered

Hi, New Subcriber here! Great movie reaction🔥👍🏽 I just wanted to point out that Cole was actually aware that Malcolm was dead the whole time. If you noticed in the beginning when Cole was leaving his house, he was practically running towards the church because he was scared that Malcolm was going to hurt him like the other "scary" ghosts did. Also, when Cole mentioned how "nice," Malcolm was, he basically referred to him being unlike the other "mean" ghosts that he has encountered. In their last scene together, when Cole Said, "we'll pretend to see each other tomorrow," He knew he would never see him again, because he was able to help another ghost(Malcolm)out with his issues, and Malcolm was able to finally help his last patient(Cole). There were a lot of hiding gems in this movie! Cole indirectly told Malcolm that he was a ghost who had no idea that he was dead when he told him his secret. This means that Cole's "I see dead people" secret was about Malcolm in that moment. I can't lie. That revelation gave me chills!
Cole knew Malcom was a ghost. Thats why he ran from him in the beginning to the church. Thats why when he came in and saw him sitting with his mom, he didn’t speak to him till she left. And even then, he spoke very softly so his mom couldn’t hear him talking to “no one”. And, how he tells Malcom to talk to his wife while she’s asleep. Cole knew the whole time. I saw this in the theater. The wave of realization that rolled through the theater when the end came around…truly an awesome experience. New sub! Great reaction!
I LOVE YALL MANNN YALL ARE SO GENUINELY GREAT AND CONSISTENT AND AMAZING I KNEW YALL WOULD LOVE THIS MOVIE ITS LITERALLY ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER MADE
On of the best movie twists of all times. I think it was really cold at the beginning because the window was open and it was wintertime, not because there were ghosts. It was just a little detail to throw everyone off so you wouldn't put 2 and 2 together. This was amazing to see in the theatres because everyone was shocked at the ending. This is the film that put M. Night Shyamalan on the map as a Director. He also had a cameo in the movie. He was the doctor at the hospital. Great reaction. I'm glad that it wasn't spoiled for you.
I know I’m three days late but great reaction you guys. Love this channel. You two have become some of my favorite reactors. Seriously. God bless you both. You two are great people and deserve all the success and happiness in the world.

First time visitor, brother, I hope you learn to let your tears flow - and to not tease her for doing so - as we don't watch reaction videos to watch people hold their reactions back.
Lol, I had a key in pre-school! Fun Fact: over 90% kids who are abducted are done so by relatives and family friends. The idea that kids primarily get snatched up by strangers is so misleading
Got the keys at about 8 in 1977. We all did. Got out of school before everybody got home. Black, in the city, in D.C. Latchkey kids. & went all over the city, walking it by myself too. Or with my friends through the 70’s. 80’s little kids did it too.
Great reaction you all! It was cool that you actually figured some things out throughout the film, even if you didn’t realize what it meant at the time. I also appreciate that you pause the video and talk things out. New subscriber!
Throughout the movie there are small hints that the therapist is a ghost. On the bus, he has no reflection. Then the close up on the doorknob to the little girls room, it only showed the kids reflection
Malcolm is always wearing the outfit he died in and when he is walking away from breaking the shop window, hes holding his side where youd see the bullet hole. If i remember correctly, Bruce Willis is left handed but learned to write with his right hand so you never see his left ring finger.
That guy that played the doctor is M Night Shamalan. One of the best directors of all time. His movie is full of twists. You guys should react to his other movies; Sighs; lady in the Water; The Village. Those are all my favorites but he directed a lot of good films.
M. Night Shyamalan the director is actually in this movie as the Doctor that is talking with Cole's Mom at the hospital. Just like Steven King and Quinton Tarantino, M. Night Shyamalan enjoys appearing in many of his own films. Bruce Willis said during an interview about this film said that Haley Joel Osment , ( the boy who played Cole. ) was the most professional actor that he'd ever worked with. He said Hailey would go off to a quiet corner just before they filmed a scene and when he returned. He wasn't just playing his character in the movie. But rather he WAS that character come to life. Hailey Joel Osment is a great actor especially as a child. His other films bear witness to that fact. In films like Second Hand Lions, A.I. ( artificial intelligence) , Psy it Forward, are some great examples of his talents and range.
When Vincent broke into the house, he brought ghost with him, though he didn't understand it. Thats why Malcolm's wife was freaked out and cold in the wine cellar.

Cole knew from the very beginning that Malcolm was dead. In hindsight when you think about it, it’s pretty obvious. If someone was going to hire a psychologist for Cole, it was going to be his mother or some concerned adult and apparently no one did hire him. And if you rewatch the scene where Cole is running into the church, you will realise it’s because he is scared of the ghost he has just seen!

Look up "Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy", this is what is wrong with the girl's Mother. Basically, is it psychological disorder where by a person (usually the mother) seeks attention or recognition, for caring for a sick child, a child that the person themself, is making sick or inventing symptoms for.
I havent checked your uploads but if you haven't yet, watch Interstellar and Hereditary 👌 Edited to add - you're on the right track about the lack of 2 shadows on the floor when they open the little girls room but also, when Cole reaches for the shiny doorknob, you can only see his reflection in it, not Malcolm's even though Malcolm was standing right behind him. Definitely give it a 2nd watch, you see it through new eyes when you know the twist at the end.
1. Haley Joel Osment played Forrestt Gump Jr, in "AI", Pay it forward" and absolutely kills in this.🤩 2. I first knew when he met his wife when she was morning him alone at the anniversary meal. Only one place setting. 3. I watched my now ex to see when she got it but she never picked it up until the reveal. 4. They help each other. 5. Cole knew he wouldn't see Malcolm again. 6. Cole to Malcolm, "How can you help me, if you don't believe me?" "Some magic's real". 7. A fun movie for review of a Bruce Willis is, "The Last Boy Scout". HINT HINT 8. Missing you Bruce.😢
The point of showing the handprint all close up like that was to show that Cole had his hands on the table the entire time... So there's NO WAY he could've opened all the cabinets, so of course it was a ghost... His mom would've never believed him at that point though so he didn't tell her...
Appreciate the compliment! 😂 We hadn't seen the movie before we just paid attention. Our Patreon family requested this! Guess we did a good job if it looked like we'd watched it already. Thank you for tuning in as much as you did even if it was halfway 🖤🙏🏽
Malcolm came to Cole the next fall after he was shot. So Cole was 8 when Malcolm got shot and was already seeing dead people. Kyla's mom had Munchousion Syndrome By Proxy. Mental health issue were you want attention so you make yourself ill and by Proxy you do it to your child or family members. I don't really like horror movies but this is one of my top 10 favorites. ❤
Gotta admit yall got some detective eyes! No one notices the big table handprint! The mom is in the classic who dun it...knives out, and the 2nd greatest horror movie of all time, hereditary 😮
I have this movie on VHS still! As a kid this movie freaked me out cause as a kid we think we see shit in the dark so seeing this amplified it for me haha
You wanna see more M. Night Shyamalan films? I highly recommend the movie Signs and his newer movie Trap...so good. Also, the movie Unbreakable is very good, as well (also starring Bruce Wilis plus Samuel L Jackson), there are also 2 sequels to it called Split and Glass.

I’m gonna call Jay “John Wayne”. The tough guy that won’t cry that plays in the westerns.
This movie is like a magic trick set to film
You need to watch Stir of Echoes, Frequency, A Soldiers Story, Devil in a Blue Dress and The Devil's Advocate. Fantastic movies
Cool quote..."They don't have meetings about rainbows." Hmm, you'd be surprised, Cole...
We saw this at the theater and had to go back in and watch it again LOL
1. Haley Joel Osment played Forrestt Gump Jr, in "AI", Pay it forward" and absolutely kills in this.🤩
HINT HINT
8. Missing you Bruce.😢
UNBREAKABLE also great by M. Night Shymalan
The point of showing the handprint all close up like that was to show that Cole had his hands on the table the entire time... So there's NO WAY he could've opened all the cabinets, so of course it was a ghost... His mom would've never believed him at that point though so he didn't tell her...
These 2 could gone on the road and be a stage act. They are some characters lol
Exactly 😂I stopped watching half way because you can tell that they know this movie....😂😂😂
Appreciate the compliment! 😂 We hadn't seen the movie before we just paid attention. Our Patreon family requested this! Guess we did a good job if it looked like we'd watched it already.
Thank you for tuning in as much as you did even if it was halfway 🖤🙏🏽
Get over yourself
I just found you guys and subscribed! Older movies like this are fantastic! You should try…
- 300
- The Alien movies
- The Predator movies
Neat fact the little girl ghost actress grew up to star in THE OC
So since y’all want recommendations for movies like this, y’all HAVE to watch Primal Fear and The Usual Suspects!
Us kids that grew up in the 80s and 90s we def had keys at this age lol
I was so scared you guys were going to figure the twist out! Jay's mind was going!
Your faces when you realized the twist. 😂 Y'all are cute!
That was one great twist at the end.
So far, it is probably the best film for M. Night Shyamalan
The girl with the pigtails from spy kids is his sister Emily Osment and his name is Haley Joel Osment.
20:34 For a second I was scared you had figured it out
Malcolm came to Cole the next fall after he was shot.
ya'll should try shutter island
Gotta admit yall got some detective eyes! No one notices the big table handprint! The mom is in the classic who dun it...knives out, and the 2nd greatest horror movie of all time, hereditary 😮
I have this movie on VHS still! As a kid this movie freaked me out cause as a kid we think we see shit in the dark so seeing this amplified it for me haha
Great reaction! Subscribed!
I was a generation X (latch key) kid! I had my own key at 10yrs old cause my mom was still at work when I got home.
Love yall. Keep up the great work!!!
Loved the reaction. Y’all gotta watch The Others! You’ll love it
Thank you! And we never heard of that gonna check that out
Watch "Pay It Foreward".
I think you will like it. It's one of my favorites as well.
Same kid plays in it.
"He see one right now" 🤐
The reason he reminded you of Gertie in spy kids is his sister played her.
The hospital doctor is director of the movie
More recommendations: the others, 13 ghosts, wrong turn, the hills have eyes, the faculty, and signs
