Hi Dayana, I don't know french so not familiar with what differences are there between the two. You can try some Canadian french mock tests (tef or tcf) or quick vidoes/courses to check if the grammar and vocab is the same or not. If your intention is to prove language proficiency then as long as you're able to do that then I think it should be fine
If you are a new resident in Canada, you can contact free newcomer services to understand what courses will be good for you for learning French. Hope this helps
