Love the setup! Personally one thing that I would recommend would be a pressure probe. I do a lot of aircon and commercial refrigeration breakdowns and it saves using gauges and saves room. Links to you're phone with 30m range. Can always use it with a 't' for charging a system or pressure testing with nitro. And for a bag I run the Veto Pro Pac Tech MCT. Best bag for service calls and if I'm doing installs can still fit install tools in along with my meter, megger, inverter checker etc. Keep up the good work!!
Thanks man, what brand do you use for the pressure probe ? Yeah I see a lot of people using the veto bags, they look mint!
Well done Mitch, that was a nice quality recorded video, i enjoyed your back pack inclusions tour, you have a very neat and tidy VW work van, that is nice to see when arriving at the customers premises. I look forward to viewing your next job, keep safe 👍 🛠
Thanks mate, I like a nice and tidy work van. 👍🏻
Get yourself Testo pressure probes they are a game changer pal. Gauges are like measuring a hair with a tape measure.
Highly recommend the fluke 62+ max ir thermometer. Incredibly accurate for those high mounted splits. Pricy though.
Awesome, I’ll look into them. Thanks for the tip.
Have you used/owned Marvel cross cut pliers? If you haven't they are honestly the best pliers. The only thing is that they aren't 1000V rated. Makes stripping orange circular like cutting through soft butter
I know the exact pliers you are talking about. I agree they are probably the best pliers I’ve come across. Made in Japan too which is always a good sign. The only reason I don’t have them is because they aren’t electrically rated like you mentioned but my co worker uses them. 👍🏻
this video is very helpful to maximum the space in my tool bad... Questions what's the name of the inverter checker you have because i can't seem to find a good one/brand
It doesn’t have a brand name on it however I bought it from Daikin directly. They are fairly basic and should work on any unit. To be honest most people just don’t know how to use them properly. Even me, I thought I was using it right until I did a Daikin training course and realised there’s things you need to do to make it work. For example, on Daikin, you need the system on fan setting and then to run a test mode to use the inverter checker.
Do you have any recommendations for magnets to use for getting reversing valves unstuck or testing?
I just have a refco one I bought from Actrol 15 years ago mate. Worked fine for me however sometimes the reversing valve requires a smaller magnet. So sometimes I can’t use my magnet to be honest
Don’t forget the gauges tho lol
Haha yeah that too
Haha had my fluke stolen from me at a job site 3 years ago 😭😭
Dude that’s so rough !
Go the m12 you wont regret it
After using the vessel automatic screwdriver thing for a few days I’m definitely going to bite the bullet and buy an m12 drill.
@@maracservices i find i use the m12 more than my 18v stuff now, plus you can get the m12 tube cutters which are a game changer if you do alot of hard drawn pipe ups
