Apart from the absolute gifted keyboardist you are, most of all it shows how incredibile KE was. He played those phrases inspired by no one but himself. No one was doing that or has done it before. He took the first steps, he set the standards for live synth playing and unfortunatelly has not the fame he deserved for it.
Pretty bloody good! Loved that, well done. Speed was right and sound was great. I played thePictures at an exhibition album only last week so it was fresh in my mins when I hear this. Great set up you got there and fantastic playing! Only issue was I expected you to transition into Blues Variation......🤣
this is ridiculously impressive. i'm not sure wether i'm more impressed by the completely handcrafted Moog clone or the transcription or the performance more.
The patch is absolutely superb…I read that the system 55 has 7 oscillators … did you need all 7 oscillators at different tunings to create this amazing patch ?
What brand is the synth if not an actual moog? Looking at buying one, and can't decide which of the remakes to go for and this sounds absolutely spot on
Please understand I admire the performance here. However, I played this 1/4 speed right off Emerson's famous performance, and a lot of these notes are incorrect. The original was improvised so there is certainly latitude in the interpretation but if we are being accurate to the original performance, then a lot of the notes here are incorrect. Keith played this so fast it is easy to listen and miss notes, plus his Moog was slightly drifted out of tune during the performance so some notes, if you don't slow them down, you can be a half step off in several directions.
@@synthal58 You know I played that Eb to Eb portamento 3/4 time challenging part wrong for years too and it was damn near impossible to mentally correct it. In case you are curious, the notes are as follows. Starts on the lower Eb ascending to Eb octave above. Eb, Eb, Ab ,F#, E, Eb, Ab, Bb, Eb, C#, B, Bb
At last!! A rich synth owner who can actually play music!! Congrats my friend, you're a rare exception!!

Look up his tombstone and it says COMPOSER, as it should.
Perfecta y grandiosa interpretacion , un agardecido de haber nacido en 1960 y disfrutar las tremendas bandas del RockPop, Progresivo y JazzRock.
Hey, great work! From a Emerson fan since '76 yeah baby, you did nail that one.
This is one of my top 10 favorite solos by Keith Emerson !! Thank you for your excellent, and well played tribute.
Best one with Tank's solo
What are your top 10?
That was totally awesome.
I have to tell you I was really impressed at the bass line.. So good!

It was a majical time to live in!
Hello from Montreal Canada !
Great Interpretation of one of Keith's most iconic synth solos.
Love the sound and the performance ,Thanx for sharing
This was outstanding!!!!
Oh man, that was truly wonderful. ♪
the parts in the transcription you fill in with your own notes are very very fucking good.
I'm shocked!
Magnifico 🎉
Oh, well played sir!

Great channel, subscribed
O timbre monofonico é praticamente o mesmo. Esse é um dos solos mais preferidos. E muito bem executado. Belo sintetizador o seu.
Grazie Attilio!
Fantastic, immaculate rendition 👏👏
Veramente bravo, uguale 👍👍

Awesome! Thank you!
well done sir!
Loved it!...your interpretation is super good.
Very nice!
A keyboard player (and, yes, a composer too) able to share a stage with Oscar Peterson is a great keyboard player.
Nailed it!
bravissimo!
Grazie Felice!
wow!
Bravo!! Can you believe this was ELP’s first album?? Crazy that they thought Pictures would sell well…and it did. Live!

dang
Nice! Wrong waveform though, I swear it's the weird shark tooth one one the Moog. Can't quite get it on the minimoog though.
It's actually so simple I wonder how people get it wrong
Dovresti provare a farla tutta , anche la parte all 'Hammond...

@@SWATTECHNOLOGIES Thanks for your useful suggestions! 🤗
Un pensiero a Keith e Greg.
Riposino in pace... come dimenticarli... ed io ho avuto pure la fortuna di vederli dal vivo. Suonate per noi anche in cielo
Steengoed
Bravissimo
Well played, but I think you'll find this piece is called Blues Variations.
No, Blues Variation starts from Hammond solo
Столь сложный аппарат для такого примитивного звука...
for me looks like banks is playing emerson...., really cool!
BUT CAN YOU PLAY DISCO?????
Thanks Mike, I am light years away from HIM... 🤗
