Watch as the German 5th Gebirgsager Division try to hold the advancing allied army from reaching Monte Cassino.
Olaf takes his 1000 point South African Common Wealth army in a bid to break the german line.
The german army a mix of metals and plastic from Warlord Games form up on the Gustav line, as i try to hold off the Allied advance.
Another great battle, fantastic board and a few laughs and banter along the way…
…but who will win, watch and see!

We are planning a Battle of Monte Cassino in the near future, so will have lots of German vets…. Now that’ll be tough!

Enjoyed the match, looks like the armor did some sit and way POV.
Glad you enjoyed it, we had a great time… I think we were both a little wary about anti tank options and kept the armour back, maybe next time we’ll get a chance to get stuck in… although I quite fancy doing Monte Cassino next, so might have limited armour due to the ruins etc… but that’s for another day.

Where did you ge5 your gebirgsjager figgys??? Are they custom builds or conversions, or a 3d print?
Hi, they are all Warlord Games figures, a mix of the metal Gebirgsjager figures and some converted grenadiers with commando packs (I got an old box of commandos off of ebay cheap), dead easy 👍🏻
I could be wrong but @10:29 I beieve he would take the pin because at @4:07 it says when they take no casualties from non HE. keep up the great games though!
No, his special rule allows him to roll to save the pin, his ‘bloody mindedness’. On a 1-3 he takes the pin, 4-6 he saves… fortunately Olaf rolled a saving roll and do didn’t get a pin. I believe he got this correct?

@@theministryofminiatures i really do believe this is incorrect it states "no casualties" from non he fire. where you scored two kills he would not get to test for the 4+ roll.
