    Antonio MCarver stated that when he was in pursuit of his CCIE Collaboration he labbed an incredible amount of hours like that also. People also thought he was doing too much - but it paid off..

    You can do it! Thanks for sharing your valuable experience! Do you have tips or maybe create a video on how to use the Cisco documentation in an efficient way? Sometimes when I look or read through the documents, I get lost with a headache. It's written in a boring way 😄

    • @NetworkWizkid

      Thank you!
      You raise a good point, let me see if I can make a quick video demonstration on how I think is the best way to navigate through the documentation.

    Hey great content! Thank you for sharing this. I have liked and subscribed...many people talk about the success they have on the lab but nobody ever talks about their failures. I am currently going to attempt the CCIE Security lab very soon and was wondering how the lab delivery system is? Is it laggy at all?

    • @NetworkWizkid
      @NetworkWizkid  2 года назад +1

      Hey, thank you, I appreciate your support.
      You're right and that's why I want to share to highlight this.
      The lab delivery system is good in my opinion. There wasn't any lag experienced in my lab exam. I would recommend that you take a look at this CCIE practice labs as the delivery system is the same as that and so if you can get familiar with that it will help for the lab.
      I hope that helps and good luck. Keep in touch and let me know how you did 😉

    • @NetworkWizkid
      @NetworkWizkid  2 года назад

      Thank you brother. I am using ESXi, EVE-NG and some physical equipment. EVE-NG may not be enough but it all depends on what you can run within the there. I would recommend that you check out the Cisco practice labs here: www.cisco.com/c/en/us/training-events/training-certifications/certifications/expert/ccie-practice-labs.html

    Best of luck. Are you funding these attempts yourself? I want to one day get my CCIE security but sometimes I can’t justify spending the price tag for each attempt. It’s safe to assume the first attempt or two will be fails, that’s a hefty bill!

    • @NetworkWizkid

      Thank you!
      Try and get your company to pay for it. They will often have budget for development. I am not yet paying for the lab attempts myself so that helps too.

    what resources have you been using for the CCIE in terms of books and videos or bootcamps ?

    • @NetworkWizkid
      @NetworkWizkid  2 года назад +1

      Hey,
      I've been working on the CCIE practice labs and I've built a lab to which I use to go through blueprint topics. Cisco Digital Learning library has come in handy too.

    For me it is not clear, after going through all the design architecture, guides and material regarding Cisco Security portfolio and even other Cisco products outside of the Security realm (but focused on security configuration/design), on how in depth and in what does the DES module/part of the exam consists of... Apart from a mention on SAFE in the exam topics, it is not sure what they want us to know.

    • @NetworkWizkid
      @NetworkWizkid  2 года назад +1

      With the NDA agreement, I cannot really talk about specific areas that are required so what I would do is focus on SAFE as a design and the different components that make up SAFE. The purpose is to show that you understand SAFE and the components that make up the architecture.
