Well. I Learned not to go beyond CCNP .. with all the new cool stuff out here I don't think CCIE is that important..CCNP, with cloud , Devop, automation is all I need to keep me busy for the next 20 years
I lost my dream 2012 , I was preparing for it since 2006 , I did many labs but , they prevented me to attend the exams because of fakes terror stories , now they horney in my home noise sounds , ccie routing and switching , security , datacenter , ccde , was in my hand but I lost everything , between 2006-2012. It's about the approach he took to pass it. To keep going and to learn from failures. It's about getting inspiration from someone who learnt to go forward and do it again. It's more personal since this is actually part of someone's CCIE journey.
True. I am done with Cisco after CCNP. Ccie is a waste of time and money. Specially for a vendor cert. Virtualization,storage,Cloud,security. Use that time and money to expand your knowledge. Sure Ccie still is great but...Working as consultant you will find out there Cisco is not the biggest fish in the ocean. Dell,HP,IBM....etc etc

The current exam is 8 hours. Why the dissertation on an experience many years ago? This is invalid for today's exam.

Sir, in India I know a lot of people who did CCIE Certification in 2nd try or sometimes 1st try and I'm gonna do it too.
most of them cheated and got their certs revoked by Cisco!
CCIE videos have fewer views because less people are even DARING TO TRY to get one LOL!

It's gotten much easier since they switched to the 1 day format. I did this when it was the 2 day exam.
