Bring on Tomorrow, definitely. I recently did a local production of Fame where I played Miss Sherman, my director was Albey Brookes, who plays Joe in this recording of the show. Whenever we sang Bring on Tomorrow, I always felt a little emotional, and this song will always carry a special place in my heart

I tryed to look at all the filmed musicals; I know most of them don't belong to universal, so the copyright might not work.
I would love to see Miss Saigon. I watched kinky boots the movie and while it was good I was disappointed it wasn’t the musical! LOL and just to let you know I watch SpongeBob the musical on RUclips. Let me see if I can find the link…

I’ve seen Fame countless times over the years. And have to say if it wasn’t for certain characters in this particular production, it would have flopped.
What the production company tried to do with this production is entice audiences with big names, and sadly it was Mica Paris and Keith Jack that ruined it for me.
Mica Paris admittedly is an amazing singer, but her performance as Miss Sherman was half arsed. She just didn’t seem to put any energy into the dialogue at all. I sat several times seeing this live and cringed at just how bad she was. When she did try to act it was so overly done. She was told to hand on hip and eye roll far to much and that for me just didn’t work.
Keith Jack, again has in the past displayed some decent talent. But for me, his performance in Fame was nothing but beige. He just looked like he couldn’t be bothered.
Stephanie Rojas held this show together along with the rest of the cast.
With a production like fame it didn’t need to big names to sell the production. The show is essentially about a School of Performing Arts. And has worked so much bettering the past with a fresh faced, talented and straight out stage school cast. Simple as.
Bill Kenwright hit the nail on the head last time he toured this production. It was amazing. However this production, because of the big names, was sadly just ok.
Can anyone tell me if I can buy a copy of this specific version? I'd love to own it.

I saw this in Orange County CA years ago. It was absolutely awful. Except for the title song, the rest of the music was different from the original movie. The main reason I went was to hear the original music live. The acting, music, and singing was horrible. Right after the bows, the cast had the nerve to ask the audience for donations for various causes. It took everything I had not to yell out and rip them to shreds(I was sitting 7th row middle). They just put on a crap show and now they are asking for money. Are you kidding me?
