I find your story very moving and have found your youtube channel to be very real and thought provoking. As a mother I firmly believe that if you're old enough to ask then you're old enough to know. So when my nine year old daughter asked me why my coworker who looked like a girl but answered to Kevin and dressed like a man. I have worked with Kevin for many years and I'm very aware that he was transgender. I was able to educate myself and talk with my daughter. When my daughter saw Kevin again she was able to talk to him with ease and use of the right pronouns. We both have learned a lot and wanted to tell you thank you :)

I had no idea he could write or that he did poetry of any kind. Man, intelligence and talent. Ugh, as if he wasn't already enough of a babe. The ending was so romantic.
Sky, I just love this. It hit me right in the feels, as the kids say. ;) In all seriousness though, at the end, when you spoke of using the pulp you've been reduced to, to make into paper on which you will write to your future lover... that was such a beautiful metaphor. That part really resonated with me. Thank you for sharing your vulnerabilities and story with the world. You are truly a gem.

In the end, your heart really will be covered in the most beautiful stretch marks. Not every heart beats this passionately and thoughtfully. To feel and think this way is a real gift, there's deff someone out there who will memorize all your lines and appreciate them exactly as they are. Exactly as they were always meant to be. And the ones they recite back to you will be like a coming home. Incredible poem once again :-)

Skye, alone doesn't have to mean lonely and you obviously have a strong grip on this fact. You have a stunning appearance; what I call a head turner.
