This is the heart of the matter for us when we are trying to get started... and makes it easier to believe we can be successful. Thank you so much for what you are doing.
Be careful with flavorings=chemicals and they don't show what those chems are, on the label.
As a South African... i just have to say anyone who throws sugar into Biltong should be jailed for at least 10 years.

Literally RAN to Aldi immediately after seeing this and bought the cheese fries! Tried them both ways!! Love them! Thank you! While I was there, I also picked up some mozzarella string cheese sticks and threw one of those in the air fryer for comparison! Turned out FANTASTIC and less expensive than the cheese fry package. 😋 ❤️

Aldi ribeye steaks (not grass fed) are my favorite! I like them better than Costco.

If you're cooking chicken thighs or legs with skin in the air fryer you have to try adding some tallow. The skin comes out soooooo crispy and delicious!

I used to poke fun at my dad for shopping at Aldi "the cheap store", but after actually shopping at one, I realized they were really awesome!
Our Aldi stores in the UK do not have as much variety as you have.
Seriously, this is funny as it is a new store to us here in Los Angeles and we think it is an uppity rich store here! everything is high priced. At least that is what I thought. I haven't been in it because of that LOL
@@oliviacole1840Aldi is a discount store, NOT an uppity rich store, at all. Aldi is MUCH less expensive than our other grocery stores here in NJ. Check it out. I'm sure you'll save a lot of money, and they carry good quality stuff. It is my favorite place to shop.

I always leave the quarter in the basket whenever I shop there or find someone who will take my shopping cart.
Saw an ad about a pill or gummies (not sure) for weight loss. And you were in it. They were flashing pics of people who supposedly lost weight. It was a quick pic of you after your surgery. Thought you would find that interesting. I know I was surprised. There should be a law for falsely using images of people to sell their product.
Oh man definitely not me!! It's so unfortunate companies like the steal people's pictures. I have never used a supplement or pill or any program to lose weight.
*Now if you see me in a cheese ad that's probably accurate 🤪

Loved the haul! Quick question…I have the same air fryer as you and I love it. Do you have…or can you do a video on how you effectively clean and care for it when it’s used regularly? I can’t seem to figure out how to get the trays to not be so greasy as well as how to clean the glass front door. Thanks so much!!❤
@@beautifullifesageg.3951 I spray mine with dawn power spray, and let them soak. Dollar Tree has a nylon scrub brush that works well at getting filters and racks clean.
When i was on the Carnivore Diet my shopping list was chicken breast and low-fat dairy.. I know that's not good, but i lost 30lbs on 1 month

Just left the Gilbert Aldi about an hour ago. They have (while supplies last) NY Strip PRIME, that’s right Prime. Normally $14.99/lb but this week $9.99\lb. Behind his hand tip from a manager was that this store has large supply and “might” go to $6.99/lb next week. That’s for Prime.

Thank you so much for the Cheese Fries information. Went to Aldi's today and picked up four bags. They were on sale for 2.49. Got them home, fried them in cast iron with homemade ghee. They are Wonderful. I would have never thought of buying them, but now they are on my monthly list. Thanks again.
I just cut string cheese in half or quarters and skillet fry in ghee. Probably cheaper than special bread cheese and they look the same 😊

Cabot Cheese is a favorite of ours. In our RV journey we spent this summer in New England and fell in love with Cabot as a whole. Up here you can get everything Cabot; Heavy Cream, Butter, over 20 types of cheese, cream cheese. But, it's reassuring to know that at Aldi in Arizona you are finding Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar.
Wow, your Aldi has way more options than what we have. The cheese fries looked so good.
Mine too. I found butter, canned tuna and shitty bacon to be cheaper than the regular grocery store and that was it. I was disappointed but felt compelled to buy something since I already got the cart

Oh wow. I grew up in Ft Wayne, IN for most of my life!!! And lived in Tucson, AZ during the mid 89s for a few years till my parents moved to Colorado! 💕 Aldi is awesome!! 💯

I would never add an s to Aldi. And we call call Aldi with the a as in bag, not ah as in bark. We have them in Australia and I get all my meat from Aldi: great prices (30% cheaper than other grocers), and great quality. We don’t have any of those packaged products you showed, and the cheese options here are much more limited. Goat cheese in Aldi? No chance! Cheese and egg wraps? No chance! No Costco or Walmart over here. Love that burger pack, wish we had that here. Great carni haul!
Fellow Aussie here - we have soft goat cheese at our local Aldi, but like you no where near any of those other carnivore options.

As of 8/30/23, the response from ALDI that I got regarding what the Clancy's Pork Rinds (specifically asked about original flavor) are fried in, this was their answer to me: "The pork rinds are fried in Rendered Pork Fat." If you'd like to ask them yourself at a future date or you want to make sure for your region, the contact form to email them on the site allowed me to get an answer within hours of asking.
Makes me want to go and try Aldi ! A lot of good products! Thanks for sharing ur haul and frying up the cheese fries different ways !

Wow, Lora, I didn’t know you were from Indiana, that’s where I live, and your whole story about Aldi is same as mine!When I moved to my first apartment in my early 20s, Aldi is where I went when I was low on money and it was pretty dreary shopping. But now many, many years later I shop weekly at Aldi. I have my regular thing I buy but I like watching your videos and finding other things. (Saw that whole lobster but passed on it too lol)!!
I'm an exiled Hoosier now in NC! Same - I remember when Aldi had an awful barebones look with boxes stacked everywhere! That memory, for me, though, was in NY. They had the best hams for Easter! 😂
When you have the crumbs from the cheese fries, you can put them in a waffle maker and they turn out great.

Thx for the tutorial! Air fryer is Much easier than making it in the pan. I can’t help myself with the cheese I eat them all, too! Have you ever made bacon wrapped chicken legs?? It’s the only way my family will eat chicken legs. I roast a ton of them at a time in the oven and put a little bbq on some of them….so yummy!!
I love chicken legs wrapped in bacon! I was always a white meat girl and, after over 15 years on keto, I'm just starting to be able to eat dark meat chicken! The bacon wrapping made all the difference! It's probably a holdover from years of conditioning, but I can't help it - I like chicken breasts and 90% or even 95% ground beef. 🤷🏼♀️

I thank you for putting me on to bread cheese and other frying cheeses. My local Kroger has a specialty cheese section and I am able to find big blocks of bread cheese there. It adds a little variety to the diet and makes it fun!

I went to Aldi’s on Wednesday and got grass fed beef, some shrimp, chicken thighs, steak, bone in Lamb Chops little smokies, sausage eggs, bacon, butter, cream cheese and cheeses.
I just wanted to say thank you for your videos! The Real Good chicken shell tacos were a huge hit at my house the other night. My husband was really struggling with cravings and those tacos were just what he needed. You've been so helpful and I really look forward to more of your recipe videos!!

I have an Aldi where I live, and I absolutely love the store because of all the wonderful choices. You are right they have a wonderful cheese section and I think at one time people thought it was a discount store with very inferior products, but they realized that it was a store with good products at reasonable prices. ❤😍

Thanks for the video! I have an Aldi near my house and I shop there every week. I love their fresh preformed burger patties. They are super convenient. 10 nice fresh quarter pound patties for $10, and they taste good too. I have not seen the cheese fries there but I will look for them. Being single, I don't really like buying meat in Costco quantities, so Aldi works out well for me. A lot of times when I go shopping I am on auto-pilot. I just get my standard items and I am heading for the door in under 10 minutes. It is nice to have other low carb items pointed out to me for my consideration. Thanks for sharing your finds.

I think you make a great point for any diet/food etc and that is to look at what ingredients are included because so many people don't really know exactly what they are eating.
