The cooker only really comes on for grilling bacon or for frying eggs, or the mince mash up which isn't often.
I’m so enjoying your videos. I started carnivore eating yesterday as the arthritis in my fingers is getting worse and now it’s staring in my toe joints! Plus I get acid reflux from sugar and grains. Yesterday I didn’t need to take any Mylanta tablets! Yay! We have Aldi here in Australia but we pronounce it Al-dee. Al as in Alan. Thank you for taking the time to make these very helpful videos. ❤
The Aldi bread cheese is delightful. But, if I remember correctly, one of the flavors (I think it was a bacon flavor but I’m not entirely certain) had sugar in it so do double check ingredients!
I would never add an s to Aldi. And we call call Aldi with the a as in bag, not ah as in bark. We have them in Australia and I get all my meat from Aldi: great prices (30% cheaper than other grocers), and great quality. We don’t have any of those packaged products you showed, and the cheese options here are much more limited. Goat cheese in Aldi? No chance! Cheese and egg wraps? No chance! No Costco or Walmart over here. Love that burger pack, wish we had that here. Great carni haul!
I sure appreciate you taking the time to do this. I’m struggling on carnivore. I’ll do great for about a week and then a family event always wrecks it. I also get sick of meat. I start feeling like a pregnant woman with morning sickness at the thought of more meat. Not sure why. Thank you again.
As of 8/30/23, the response from ALDI that I got regarding what the Clancy's Pork Rinds (specifically asked about original flavor) are fried in, this was their answer to me: "The pork rinds are fried in Rendered Pork Fat." If you'd like to ask them yourself at a future date or you want to make sure for your region, the contact form to email them on the site allowed me to get an answer within hours of asking.

I'm an exiled Hoosier now in NC! Same - I remember when Aldi had an awful barebones look with boxes stacked everywhere! That memory, for me, though, was in NY. They had the best hams for Easter! 😂
It makes me chuckle how Americans say Aldi (like Oldie), in the UK we say Aldi with a hard "A". Love the content, you've educated me SO much in regards to the carnivore diet, love watching you and you're family. Love from the 🇬🇧
I love Aldi. They have so much more variety than my local supermarket, but the nearest one to me is about 1-1/2 hours drive away. And living in the middle of no where, in a small country town of about 1000 people, you really do need to support your local shops.
Loved seeing this haul! You have so many different products at your store. If you ever see the Argentine Red Shrimp, they are delish and they really do taste like lobster! We call them shlobster lol.
I like doing the Haloumi in the air fryer because it gets a little puffy like you said. It reminds me of eating cheese curls, so it satisfies my snack cravings.
Went carnivore 3 weeks ago. Live in Ohio and Florida. Love how all Aldi are very similar no matter what part of the country. Just subbed. Love your content!

In Australia I think our whole Aldi store could fit in that cheese aisle. 😂
Gosh thanks for this. You introduced us to Egg Life. Makes a huge difference. I will definitely try a trip to Aldi!
The Aldi bread cheese is delightful. But, if I remember correctly, one of the flavors (I think it was a bacon flavor but I’m not entirely certain) had sugar in it so do double check ingredients!
I just placed my first order for LMNT, thank you for the free sample pack!
Fellow Aussie here - we have soft goat cheese at our local Aldi, but like you no where near any of those other carnivore options.
Really thank you for this video. Just starting carnivore a couple of days ago and this gives me ideas for variety
How's the diet going?
💚 Thanks Laura! I'm new to your channel and learning lots. You are delightful!💚
I sure appreciate you taking the time to do this. I’m struggling on carnivore. I’ll do great for about a week and then a family event always wrecks it. I also get sick of meat. I start feeling like a pregnant woman with morning sickness at the thought of more meat. Not sure why. Thank you again.
Add more fat and try your best to get past two weeks. Gets easier
Thank you for what you do....I wish we had Aldi(s) here in Colorado. I love the watermelon LMNT & may have to try the chocolate in my coffee now.
This is one Funny Lady.
Used your code got our LMNT in yesterday!! They
have but 3 boxes get one free plus the sample pack!! The watermelon is on point!! And tell Chris thanks the chocolate caramel in my coffee is a game changer!!! 🎉🎉
My favorite LMNT flavor is the Mango Chili. It's so good!
Wow, Lora, I didn’t know you were from Indiana, that’s where I live, and your whole story about Aldi is same as mine! When I moved to my first apartment in my early 20s, Aldi is where I went when I was low on money and it was pretty dreary shopping. But now many, many years later I shop weekly at Aldi. I have my regular thing I buy but I like watching your videos and finding other things. (Saw that whole lobster but passed on it too lol)!!
I'm an exiled Hoosier now in NC! Same - I remember when Aldi had an awful barebones look with boxes stacked everywhere! That memory, for me, though, was in NY. They had the best hams for Easter! 😂
We love LMNT!!
Good info, as i am about to start this way of eating 😊
It makes me chuckle how Americans say Aldi (like Oldie), in the UK we say Aldi with a hard "A". Love the content, you've educated me SO much in regards to the carnivore diet, love watching you and you're family. Love from the 🇬🇧
I say Aldi with a hard A also..it sounds weird when people say Oldie 🤭
I learn English as an adult after immigrating to the US. I say Aaaldi too. I think it changes by region in the US.
We don't have such a variety though , do we ,
I love Aldi.
The Argentinian Wild-Caught Large Red Shrimp are also at Sam's Club & you get 2 pounds for $19; better deal if you have a membership 😊
I like doing the Haloumi in the air fryer because it gets a little puffy like you said. It reminds me of eating cheese curls, so it satisfies my snack cravings.
Great Haul! By the way, Ghee is SUPER easy to make...and much cheaper that way too!!
She travels so much that I think it's probably worth the trade-off in time!
@@Lucinda_Jackson Ahh that's fair. Only take 15 minutes though haha..
Really? Because butter is expensive.
what kind of oil was used in the process of the pork rinds? New to your channel~ Loving it! Thank you!
Most pork rinds are cooked in its own fat (and the lard packaged) with salt added at the end. The ingredients should just read pork and salt.
I'm a big Aldi fan, but you've shown me tons of products I didn't even know they had. Will have to go back tomorrow!
Went carnivore 3 weeks ago. Live in Ohio and Florida. Love how all Aldi are very similar no matter what part of the country. Just subbed. Love your content!
Not similar in uk though 😥
You should stock up on bread cheese when it's in stock and freeze it, so when it's out of season again, you'll have some in the freezer to use.
Exactly what I need to see, getting ready to start carnivore! What do I do with all my pantry stock now??? I know my kids will continue to eat some carbs, but I would love the whole family to try.
