The way I’ve been eyeing this (and the gel version) since Cyrille Laurent first started recommending it. I also appreciate how you try it more than once.
I love the Biore Bright Milk (pink bottle). My skin is acne prone/oily/dehydrated, and I live in the Philippines which is summer all year. It’s the only sunscreen that doesn’t make me look like a disco ball when it’s humid. I wouldn’t recommend it for very dry skin though because it contains alcohol. It can mattify an oil spill.
I happened to discover this line back when I was strolling in Donki (Japanese supermarket). I've tested on my skin and it's super lightweight! I've always been wanting to buy this and I'm so happy to have found your review. Definitely going to buy now.
Really enjoyed the video! You should try the Frudia Ultra UV Shield Sun Essence, not only is it affordable but I find it to work really well with my skin. It has no white cast and it’s moisturizing.
Ramon I always appreciate your super detailed reviews!! I noticed you applied it generously to your eyelids - do they sting your eyes at all or at anytime of the day?
Hi Ramon! If you're interested, can you try the Shiseido Anessa mineral/chemical hybrid sunscreen (Perfect Milk or Mild Milk) or the Skin Aqua sunscreen (mineral Moisture Milk)? I love zinc oxide sunscreens that keep me nice and matte, and I've been considering both of these since they have mineral filters and I think they're waterproof.
Youll love the skincare milk one then if you can handle strong perfumed fragrance. It does dissipate (or I just get used to it) but it takes a while. It's a really nice powdery matte finish and the filters are top notch. I'm interested in the sensitive skin one but it's like $50 now? Why? I can't make sense of it.
@@brittneydoesitherself5546 I tried the Anessa Mild Milk and didn't like the finish at all. It was a slippery silicone that just slid around my face all day. But I just got a mini of the Anessa Skincare Perfect Milk to try this week!
@@okashi10A lil' late, but did you liked the mini? I heard people in beauty community raving about Anessa's sun milks, but I can't find any proper review if they are proper matte or not.
Will try this one out for sure! The watery essence is my regular daily sunscreen (sometimes Nivea soothing sensitive) so I’m interested to see how her sister performs because the watery essence is amazing - my skin actually looks better when I wear it, like a primer/filter kind of glow that I love.
Which Nivea one do you recommend ? I love the biore uv Aqua rich and just ordered the biore Athlizm... I enjoy the Nivea super sun water gel (but it’s not waterproof, sweat proof) so I was just curious which Nivea you like?
@@hoped6022 I like the Nivea face anti shine - it does have fragrance that doesn’t bother me, but I know how people feel about that. I also like the Nivea face soothing sensitive. This one is fragrance free and feels nice on the skin. I do have to say though, with both of these, on days where I have been out and have reapplied frequently, like every 2 hours my face does feel a little cakey at end of the day - but I will have put on up to 6 layers by this point. But never any issue to wash off. Really affordable and can find them everywhere.

How hard is it to get off, especially around the eyes?

Super easy! I don’t find it has that feeling that it’s hard to get off, or that you still feel it on your skin after cleansing. Biore specifically markets even their water resistant formulas are easy to remove with proper surfactants. I don’t even feel the need to double cleanse if I wear just this.
Please help Ramon. I know it might be too much to ask but if it's really not and you have easy access to the information, could you go back through the Asian sunscreens you've done reviews on and add somewhere if it has been independently verified or not yet? I'm interested in this SPF. This might be a common sense question but were the SPF's that were verified to be less than the advertised rating forced to be taken off shelves or are they allowed to continue selling? Do they have to relabel the proper rating or is it still the same labeled rating. Someone help me. Dear Gawd.
I’ve bought it, and I’m white and it left a white cast :/. I’d still be curious about his review, cause it was nowhere NEAR as bad as most mineral sunscreens, but I’ve switched to the canmake one now cause of it. Not trying to replace his review cause I’d still love to see it!
Oh Ramon!!!!!! I am so glad you Review this product...I ordered this one just to try a new sunscreen!!!! OMG I love it...!!! I also bought the milk version which is also fantastic!!!! I was so afraid of the fragrance ( which I don't hate)..because it feels so good on my skin, I didn't even noticed the alcohol... I do use a moisturizer underneath...No white cast!!!... after all that PURITO scandal, I want to stay(for the time being) away from Korean sunscreens....the European ones I just don't like...anyway..great 👍review!!!

Can anyone sensitive to US chemical/organic sunscreens attest to the lack of reaction from Asian sunscreens? I can only use physical/inorganic US sunscreens or my skin feels like it's burning off.
I definitely notice a huge difference between US and Asian chemical sunscreens, particularly with regard to eye irritation. (Prior to switching, I tried to use mineral but could never tolerate the feel of it on my skin). I'm very happy to have found a few different Asian brands that I can use directly on my eyelids and right up underneath my eyes without them stinging / itching / watering because now I'm much more consistent in my application!
There are so many good ones, you should check out more of Ramon's videos as he goes into great detail about many of them... but my top three (i.e. the ones I use the most) are as follows: 1) OMI - Verdio UV Moisture Gel SPF 50+ PA++++ (I don't use moisturizer before putting this one on because I find it very hydrating on its own) 2) Biore UV Oil Control Base UV SPF 50 PA++++ (this one is lightly tinted and has more of a matte finish) 3) Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+ PA++++ (very similar to the first one but is a bit more liquidy & dries down faster) I buy these all from YesStyle but I'm pretty sure you can find them on Amazon, too. Oh, and I would say that I have normal skin overall, sometimes a bit oily in the t-zone depending on the season. The majority of my issues with US chemical filters are in relation to my eyes, though there have been many that I simply did not like the feel of on my skin and couldn't wait to wash off. I don't think I've ever had one cause break-outs, though. In regard to mineral sunscreens, the only one I could tolerate for short periods of time was the CVS Health Clear Zinc Broad Spectrum Sun Lotion SPF 50. Please keep in mind that everyone's skin is different so what works for me may not work for you. Sometimes it's a lot of trial & error and watching a lot of reviews done by people who have a similar skin type to you, and even then you may not vibe with the same products. The good thing is, there are TONS of options out there so eventually you're bound to find something! Good luck!

The japanese sunscreens are generally fine. They have different federal agencies for testing. Even a lot of Korean sunscreens are still fine. L'Oreal and LRP are from the same parent company and share a lot of sister formulas. With sunscreens, I wouldn't necessarily rely on anything protecting for more than 2 hours at a time considering if you really want the full capacity of UV protection from your sunscreen throughout a high UV index day, reapplication is vital every few hours. The neutrogena one should be fine, I would just consider how much you're applying, making sure you're reapplying, and factoring in what you're pairing it with. You could consider pairing your sunscreen with antioxidant serums, which help reinforce UV protection in your sunscreens and offer some extra protection from reactive oxygen species, which can exacerbate pigmentation issues, or consider switching to tinted sunscreens, whose iron oxides offer visible light protection as well.
@ thank your for the information on the tinted sunscreens, now,i have to try them. The loreal sunscreens are like lotions,so I got scared of the spf claims and stopped using them.
