The video compares the Google Pixel Fold 2 with the Samsung Galaxy Fold 6, focusing on real-world usage and addressing viewer questions. The Pixel Fold 2 has a larger screen than the Fold 6, but its multitasking capabilities are limited to splitting the screen in half, while the Fold 6 allows for three windows and bubble windows. The Fold 6 also has a one-handed mode, which the Pixel Fold 2 lacks. In terms of app experience, the Pixel Fold 2's larger screen real estate is advantageous for apps like Instagram, but the Fold 6's aspect ratio and sidebar are better suited for Facebook. Both phones offer smooth scrolling and comparable performance in apps like X. Gaming performance on the Pixel Fold 2 is improved compared to previous Pixel phones, but it still gets warmer than the Fold 6 under intensive tasks. The front display of the Pixel Fold 2 has a large bezel, which the reviewer initially found unappealing but has grown accustomed to. Battery life is a significant improvement on the Pixel Fold 2, lasting closer to 7 hours compared to the Fold 6's 6+ hours. Both phones have good camera quality, with the Pixel Fold 2 retaining more natural colors in some situations. Overall, the Pixel Fold 2 shows significant improvements over its predecessor, particularly in battery life. However, the Fold 6 still holds advantages in multitasking capabilities and software features.
Yo! Go Birds! Big one tonight! Great vid... Been waiting on you to do this one. Still rocking my Fold5 very happily after a year - thanks again for the rec!
You can have up to 8 windows open on the zfold6, 3 windows and 5 bubbles, with each bubble beyond the fifth added is being put in something like an appdrawer-ish floating icon bubble.
@@baldone45I do... Well not that exaggerated like in the previous example, but I've been using the Z Fold6 (I had the Z Fold3 before) with 2 apps in split window and a few apps in popup mode (depending on what I need at that moment) and it's the best productivity experience I've ever had in any phone. It's a desktop like experience but in your pocket. Also that's the reason why I can't use slabs anymore. I've got so used to using multiple apps constantly that when I try a slab again it feels weird and limited because there's not enough screen space to use multiple apps in split screen and popups comfortably.
Plot twist - I played with the Pixel 9 Pro fold a bit in the store and curiosity got the best of me. I picked it up and I've been using it more than the Z Fold 6 for the past couple of weeks. I'm surprised at how much I enjoy using it. Z Fold 6 is still better for multitasking and using the s-pen, but overall - Google actually did a good job.

I returned my z fold 6 after one week of usage due to the narrow aspect ratio. I’m hesitant in getting the pro xl fold because of the awkward experience with z fold 6 ( my first foldable). Can someone collaborate what is the experience in handling the device
Nice video brother! It's hard to believe that the photos of the pixel and the photos of the galaxies are the way they are. It felt like they were backwards meaning that the Galaxy photos looked like they were the pixel photos and vice versa.

Good points but I am disappointed in Samsung because for the past few years apple and now the pixel has the emergency SOS satellite feature which can save your life literally and the Samsung phones have still not added that including the fold 6

I just went for working at my desk in the industry to working outside and weight/durability is a huge factor. And screen brightness. Using s24 Ultra but may try Flip 6 No more Folds for me :/
The flip 6 might serve ya well. It's so tiny and comfortable on the outside and I like the interior screen even more than my s24. More durable than part iterations.
3:40 the viewable content area is virtually identical. Since the Pixel has that oversized status bar, the viewport gets pushed down compared to the Z Fold. The hidden UDC on the Z Fold also makes for a much nicer experience. Given the only thing you use the inner camera for is video calls, something the Z Fold UDC does as well as any laptop webcam, the uninterrupted hole-free canvas is more than worth it. The Pixel software is just so, so lacking for the foldable form factor. Inexcusably so.
I really love the Google pixel 9 pro fold😂 , it's smooth and fast. I've been a Samsung knights for many many years. My last fold was the z fold 3 which was ok. Basically used it as an entertainment device. but now that I've been working 2 jobs, I'm able to need/do more with my phone 9 fold is keeping up. The only thing I wish Google improved was a dex form where I can connect it and use it as a PC. There is a way for me to connect but it not as smooth as dex. Google needs to improve on there version of dex. And the speaker could be a little louder. But everything else I love it.
