Your using your measuring tape wrong. When you measure from the inside your supposed to let it extend. The "give" from tip is exactly the width of the metal so you can measure from the inside and the outside. Great video by the way. It got me really excited for the game.

And after watching this video with the close-ups of the Mini's & Terrain, definitely made my decision final! Star Wars Shatterpoint will be my next new skirmish game added to my miniature games collection!😎🥳
I was able to see the copy at my game shop yesterday. I was expecting the figures to be a tad bigger but nevertheless fantastic box set for what you get in it.
I love how this core set gets you into full games immediately without expansions. That was a weak point for X-wing and Armada where they just gave you a taste of the game in the core box.
Thank you for uploading these. As a Legion (although mostly Armada) player I was originally tempted by Shatterpoint for the terrain, and it looks pretty great - so much high-quality terrain in one place. Of course now having seen the minis I'm tempted by everything else as well.
The last thing I need is another Star Wars miniature game that I won't have time to play... of course, that isn't going to stop me from buying it!! LOL!
Great video! How long are the lightsaber blades? Thinking of replacing them with LED COB filament and worried the ones I got for legion minis are too short.
It's nice that AMG/Asmodee get the Shatterpoint sets out early to RUclipsrs, obviously to push sales. However they still have yet to rectify all their mistakes in the Legion Battle Forces boxes. It's nice to know they prioritize a quick buck over customer satisfaction, what a company.

13:34- Did you use different types of bases on your Legion clone and Rex? Rex’s base is taller than the Legion clones! Kinda weird looking! That’s probably also why the clone for legion is smaller than the other clone! But not by much
Thanks for the video. Good run down of the terrain. Makes me more exited for the additional inclusions/cost of it. Recommend doing your measurements with a steel rule instead of a tape measure and also in mm if possible. I believe you'll find the bases are 40 and 50mm respectively.
These new minis are amazing, they've a detail's level incredible, pity for the dimensions, they aren't compatible with other ones, so it's impossible making conversions or use bits from other brands (same problem with Legion 's ones).
I actually am rather impressed by how modular the terrain is, by far so much better then the terrain packs for Legion though maybe the Imperial bunker would go well with this terrain.....? 🤔

I do like that you get enough to play the game in the core box, unlike Legion where you have to buy at least two core sets to play the game 'properly'.

The measuring tape is supposed to have give. This is to account for the difference between measuring from the inside or the outside of the lid.
I had to scroll down way to long to find a comment about the measuring tape. Surprisingly very few people know about that.
Did you try milimeters to mesure those bases ?

I believe both have been confirmed. Inquisitors is releasing in July, Ghost Crew are further out.
