- A warning mainly to console players but extended to any potential new players curious about the game.
This game is dead. It has been for a while. Before that, it was slowly dying...Seems most have finally seen the truth and are making the correct decision = leaving.
I had around 3k hours in the game. It has been a while since I logged and some things have changed so getting my bearings took longer than I expected. Not enough has changed however, hence huge player drops since release.
Do not waste your time or money. Let it die. AGS needs to pivot and only focus on publishing games. They have proven they cannot be trusted making games after this disaster of a "mmo", er, action RPG, well, whatever they're calling it nowadays...
I had around 3k hours in the game. At the time of recording I hadn't played for MONTHS. Meaning some system were not entirely fresh in my mind. However, the main systems and end game, since it really hasn't changed much from release... are basically covered.
You have more reasons NOT to play the game than to play. I'm trying to save you money and time by steering you away from this horrible game from an even worse studio (AGS).
There are better options coming.
For the action MMO itch, let's hope Chrono Odyssey is good.
100% agree with the comment about breaking tools and having to rebuy/recraft them.
I played alittle over 100 hours in August and enjoyed the hell out of it but once I hit 60 and just didn't feel motivated enough to buy the expansion. 2 new zones that are basically the same as all the others just didn't seem worth it to me.
I still haven't signed up, after watching since launch lol. I just kept waiting till bugs got worked out. And there still are a lot of problems. Still waiting to hear back from people like yourself to see if it's worth it.
Everything looks ok & the great weapons are comically large. I have great weapon envy.
I'm going to play the open beta to see exactly what they changed. From what we know it looks like for PC players there will be:
1) A new 10m raid (these are typically only challenging the first time then on farm from then on)
2) Repeatable Soul-Trials (more PVE solo content = I have mixed feelings)
3) Cutlass Keys is being transformed into a PVP zone. This could be interesting but I'm expecting AGS to fumble as usual. Zergs/mega-companies will likely rule the zone and keep things on lock. All depends on what loot incentive is for players.
In other words not that much. Which leads me to believe the game is going for one last push then the shutdown announcement will follow after a season or two. Amazon has to be losing money hand over fist on this game atm.
For console players if they have never played NW (I don't recommend it) it will all be new and it will seem like there is a lot of content. When they reach endgame they will realize there is not much to do and burnout on the endless material farming that is required.
As if population was not bad enough they will have an option on consoles to NOT utilize cross-play LMAO...oh AGS, never fail to disappoint.
What model air conditioner do you have?
Im one of the first and last ones, currently at the point where you talk about crafting tools, and you are talking BS so far, pov from somebody who does not know the endgame... Idk not much value Ty bye
What specifically was I wrong about regarding crafting tools? Once obtaining BiS tools you never need new ones, is that not wrong?
@@Label07you don’t. You are right. Most people don’t even go for bis tools cause u don’t even need it.
True. It's not entirely necessary to have BiS tools. However, if you want the most out of your farm runs, it's definitely worth the investment (assuming the game had a future).
