@@ExampleOfPlay You might also want to try out the previous 'flagship' game on the same engine : Zero-K. It has weirder units (like whole starting factories based around jumpbots, shieldbots, spiders), commander upgrades, terrain terraforming, a campaign... also recently added a new game mode with infinite unit upgrades. (I have a bunch of Zero-K videos linked in my TA playlist.)
Great game! I have not played in a while but I would recommend to anyone. Some similar concepts to gathering resources and scaling up. I tried the sequel IXE which is a different kind of game, it was interesting, but hoping they make CW 5 next.
Maybe you are too young to get the reference, but both came from Total Annihilation.... an even older game.... a Lot Older.... "Zero-K and BAR share their roots, they both forked from Balanced Annihilation, BAR in february 2019, Zero-K in 2007. If you have played both of these games you surely have noticed a lot of similarities. Both games run on the same open source engine - Recoil, they share maps, many widgets and even some unit models." - BAR website BAR is a lot more polished and a lot more faithful with the original game.
Good you followed through with the yell of acclamation that BAR quickly earns.
Since I started playing it’s been difficult to put down!

@ I have it on my big list! Will try it out eventually.
I'm a Twitch streamer and I only play BAR, it's awesome!
It’s a great game to both play and watch, a real spectacle as the matches ramp up!
Not sure if youve ever heard of or played Creeper World 4. This for some reason reminds me of it. Give that one a shot too if you havent

this is just ZERO-K
Do you like Zero-K better? I’ve seen it but have not had time to try yet. Both are cut from the same cloth of Total Annihilation and SupCom right?
