- Factorio but everything goes on 1 belt, not a singular belt but 1 row of unsorted belts, maybe 1 singular belt is next, that sounds absolutely awful.

If there only was 1 belt the throughput would mean it would take him months maybe even a year+ but he could have said spaggeti belts ..i dont mind how he called it in the screenshot it was clear what he ment and i think its interesting anyway
ahhh, Factorio. I use to play this with my friends. Only one of us could afford it at the time, so he bought it & shared the download link to it. It wad kinda shady, but we were kids.
I get the impression the developer wouldn't care. He ideologically never runs specials and knows if you want it you'll buy it. I believe he deliberately didn't add anti piracy features too. Kovarex is a good guy
@DIY_Miracle plus whenever the game updates, youd need to upload the new versions and get your friends to download it, so its so inconvenient that anyone with the means to purchase the game would do so, but when you're a kid getting a free game is very satisfying no matter the effort it took
We just pirated the game then ran this shady software that convinced the game we were on a LAN when we weren't, I was still finding that software pop up a couple years after I thought I downloaded it doing stuff on several occasions only getting a new computer fully got rid of it

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED
...Mistakes may have been made... I turned on the "too many science" mod and the number of random things I have to add to the belt now to satisfy science requirements is making this a right challenge.
It's not that hard, it just takes ages, youd need a machine like the brain for doshs sushi base but you'd need to set basically everything to a limit of like 5.
"It's counting stars now!" made me both laugh and feel a bit sad. Great video! Not the greatest way to enjoy the game I'd assume, but seeing someone succeed in it I might try it in the future!

neat innovation with only counting the raw inputs! makes draining unneeded resources very slightly easier than doshdoshingtons full belt counter
But a full belt counter gives more control so you never have any products clogging the sushi (well unless you mess up the count, which is almost guaranteed)

Will be interesting to see a sushibelt factory when we get the full belt reading in 2.0. Should make it much easier since you'll be able to stop any inserter/machine etc. based on total belt content of certain items.

I don't uh know if it was just for a gag or not, but you can place blue prints down while holding shift and it will automatically set environment stuff blocking the placement to deconstruct, it will even place waterfill and then build on the new land in 2.0

if you take upgrade planner and change stuff from blue to red and pass it over unbuilt blueprint it will change it to red you can also use that upgrade on blueprint itself... work for most stuff
i im not wrong you can copy paste inserters connected with wire and it will automatically place wires on them
shift clicking with blueprint will remove stone and trees and place blueprint at the same time...
i don't even know what game it is but fuck it, it was nice

Steam Turbines aren't actually better than Steam Engines, they're supposed to be used in Nuclear setups.
Using turbines with boilers does work. but they make the same power that the engines do, for the same amount of steam.

I find this far more fascinating that the 9 millionth "main bus megabase" I mean yeah I get its *effectve* but seeing every base laid out exactly the same way gets old.
Also, I find that you've exactly duplicated the system many big retail chains use to manage their inventory. "If an item is removed by the player or an improperly set up inserter the count is off forever" Exactly what happens when an item is stolen, or it is damaged and not properly put into the system as damaged.
I like your content, but the sudden loud noises all through make it annoying for me. Perhaps I'm just a gumpy old man.
