Hello hopefully it brings back. Good memories for you early drag racing 60s and 70s I was there so it’s super good stuff for me and then getting you guys cranked up on. It just brings me joy that’s why I’m doing this. Thanks so much for your comments.✌️😎
Sure brings back a lot of ----- Good Memories ----- S.I.R ---Seattle International Raceways ------ Will find myself always coming back to replay this video -------- Thank You ------- Rodney
Hello yes sir that’s why I’m trying to do so we can all relive those memories of the 60s and 70s super-stock was just amazing part of NHRA in the 70s I was more interested in the superstock racing and pro stock as much as top fuel. I know I made the video and I watched it about 20 times lol you’re very welcome Rodney and enjoy your day 👍✌️
Hello Danny, thank you so much sir I appreciate that that makes my day. I’m trying to bring it to y’all. I need some subscribers let your friends know and family. I appreciate y’all. 👌😎✌️
Thank you for your kind responce. I like all of your pictures, even Sox and Martin Cars. I was going to the drags back in '63 and on up. I have seen personally a grest number of those cars running, especially in match races. I remember the night at 75 & 80 Dragaway in MD, when Durham shut down Sox in three straight runs. But there were many other fine drivers and cars like 'The Honker', 'The Seaton Shaker', Hayden Platt, etc.,etc. Keep up the good work; it's nice to see those pictures again!
Hello thank you for being on my channel. I appreciate it. It’s great to hear the old memories that these pictures dig up it’s a special time in our life. If you’re a drag racing fan like we are I grew up around it late 60s my dad used to take me to Tampa dragway to see Don Garlits from late 60s with Arnie Beswick and all the big boys and then went to gator nationals from 72 to 97. Never missed a year, all this is good stuff. I’m so happy to bring you guys good memories that’s what I’m trying to do thanks so much 👍✌️
Hello, you are very welcome trying to bring it to y’all wide variance of cars and names. You don’t see on a regular basis I’ve got more to come yes that was win on Sunday buy on Monday that put those fans in the seat of a potential superstock car those were the days nothing like the 70s the best decade ever 👍☮️
I agree the best decade ever, I had a Challenger with rallye wheels, but my friend had a Cuda with keystones, because Ronnie Sox had them... @@MUSCLECARCORNER426
I'm breathless... That's a masterpiece video of the golden drag racing era💪 If i could pick my favorite. 1:07, 1:53 "Paper Tiger" Belvedere AWB, 5:07 Sox & Martin Hemi 'Cuda, 5:09, 13:09 Tom Grove's Melrose Missile, 7:19 Don Carlton's Mopar Missile Duster and 7:32 Don Grotheere's BO29 Barracuda... Awesome brother!👏👍 Thank you for sharing.
Hey man, super cool I’m glad you like it my brother. I appreciate that more than you know it’s refreshing to see some cars we don’t get to see on a regular basis on the Internet I will keep them coming 👌✌️
@5:28 Deuces Wild, I believe this is the very first race car I saw up close and personal. I saw it at D&G Gulf in Westlake around '69 or '70 (I was 9 or 10) The guys talked to me and answered questions. I was hooked. 396/325 if I remember correctly.
Hello Phil wow that’s super cool. It’s amazing how cars that we really liked when we were kid you just don’t forget them. We’re so impressionable at that age I met Arnie Beswick in 1969 and it was my first taste of Nitro as a kid and I’ll never forget that night in that car, we’ve been friends ever since thanks so much for being on my RUclips channel and have a great Easter weekend👍✌️
In your series here there are more then enough pictures of Sox and Martin Cars, but how about Malcolm Durham and his "Strip Blazer" series and other popular drivers from the East?
Hello, always been partial to Sox and Martin I only got a couple pictures of that strip blazer car. I do have it in some of my other videos we’ll see what I can do. I’m finding more on that car for you I have a line on a lot of good pictures from early gator nationals I’m trying to get.👍✌️
Hello Steve apologize on that. I still haven’t figured out this movie program. I just got a new laptop with a new program so I’m gonna go to the drawing board of slowing those videos down. I’m an old dog trying to learn these new tricks all this new fangled equipment I should have somebody doing that for me, but I try to do the whole thing myself since day one me and the cell phone, never used computer on this project that being said, I’ll work on it for you there brother appreciate you being on my RUclips channel ✌️👍
