    It sounds good in theory but think of the bad fuel in the tank, the dry rot tires.. The engine seals have to be shot along with the old engine oil. Nothing worse for a car than having it sit forever. Great to see but not to own.

    Driving on Gratiot in my 78 T/A , a guy passed me in that car. It was new and sounded amazing. So I had to catch up to him and ask him what did he do to his exhaust if anything? I finally caught him at a Michigan turn around. I complimented him on his car and ask him about the exhaust. He told me it was a test tube? I did the same modification to my trans Am but of course it didn't sound as good as the silver one.

    Great interview! What about the crime of the century. You might want to cut and paste this to save it. Absolutely AWESOME new interview at ruclips.net/video/eqXLMqaYM8E/видео.html with Robert Groden! I respect Robert Groden very much, but (forgive me) he seems to refuse to even consider the eye-witness testimony and confession of CIA Mercenary James Files. I believe James was indeed the shooter on the grassy knoll and that he only fired one shot. So many folks seem to want to just perpetuate the CIA cover question..."Did Lee Harvey Oswald have a co-conspirator". Clearly, Oswald was the non-shooter PATSY. I personally approached Robert Groden at the JFK Conference Dinner in Dallas on Saturday evening, 18 November 2023, and spoke with him about James Files. Robert Groden wasn't even interested in interviewing James Files; I was astonished at the time. Many people, especially those who work in the 6th Floor Museum, are just supporting the official Warren Commission story about Lee Harvey Oswald. Lee Harvey Oswald was NOT a shooter in Dealey Plaza; Lee was set up by the CIA. If you want to add another chapter to your book, here it is for free. This account is directly from Johnny Roselli (the Chicago Mafia made-man in Dealey Plaza who was running the assassination team) to Robert Clayton Buick during hundred's of hours of private conversation while they were in prison together. There were at least four shooters and seven shots fired. The four shooters were Marshall Caifano, Charles Nicoletti, James Files, and Malcolm "Mac" Wallace. The first shot was from Chicago Mafia Made-man Marshall Joseph Caifano; he fired two shots from the front from the overpass. Caifano's first shot hit the JFK limo windshield near the rearview mirror and the second shot hit JFK in the throat. Charles Nicoletti was the shooter from the second floor of the DalTex Building from under the fire escape; Johnny Roselli was in the room with Charles. Eugene Hale Brading (Building owner Hunt's adopted son) was guarding the locked office door. There was a spotter on the fire escape just above the second story window. Charles "Chuck" (aka Typewriter) Nicoletti shot JFK in the back of the head. 28-year veteran CIA Mercenary James Files WAS the back-up shooter on the grassy knoll from behind the picket fence. Malcolm "Mac" Wallace was shooting at Governor Connally from the school book depository; however, he thought Senator Ralph Yarborough was going to be riding with President Kennedy. LBJ wanted Senator Ralph Yarborough dead except he failed to switch the passengers at Love Field. JFK and LBJ fought over the reverse passenger arrangement at the airport. Chicago Mafia Hitman Gary Marlowe killed Dallas Police Officer J.D. Tippit with a .38 revolver...NOT Lee Harvey Oswald...the shells from a semi-auto pistol had been planted as a distraction. Revolvers don't leave brass behind. Gary Marlowe brought the .38 revolver to James Files after the assassination at his motel in Mesquite, Texas. The CIA used the Chicago Mafia to kill JFK. Secret Service Chauffer Bill Greer knew JFK was going to be assassinated. Bill Greer slowed at the umbrella man to assist the assassins to kill both JFK and Ralph Yarborough (actually Connally). The spliced Zapruder Film is extremely important; however, I believe James Files confession and eye-witness testimony is the most important evidence. No weapons used in the assassination were 6.5mm...they were .30-06, .221 Remington Fireball, and 7.65mm Mauser. Thanks to Robert Groden for many years of dedication trying to expose the truth. It obviously was NOT Lee Harvey Oswald. The CIA killed President Allende, Marilyn Monroe, President Kennedy (American Democracy), witnesses of the JFK assassination (David Ferrie & Dorothy Kilgallen), MLK Jr, RFK, Che Guevara, Jimmy Hoffa, Sam Giancana, Johnny Roselli, Charles Nicoletti, Mary Jo Kopechne (favor for Ted), and many others. They missed Texas Senator Ralph Yarborough. The three Mafia wise guys who killed Marilyn Monroe were Charles "Typewriter" Nicoletti, Louie "Lips" Mercer, and another man who is still alive. Jimmy Hoffa's body was burned up in the incinerator at the garbage dump in Detroit shortly after he was killed. A joint CIA/Mafia team killed Jimmy Hoffa. David Ferrie was murdered by the CIA in his living room. David Ferrie was knocked out by a blow to the head with a Colt 1911 when he answered his front door. The assassin then jammed a sharp metal nailfile up through the roof of his mouth into his brain...CIA tradecraft. His body was left on the living room floor. Someone moved his body into his bed under the covers to mask the murder site. CIA Mercenary Pilot David Ferrie's autopsy was performed by Orleans Parish Coroner Nicholas Chetta and a Pathologist named Ronald A. Welsh. In their cover-up, Chetta and Welsh concluded that there was no evidence of suicide or murder, and that David Ferrie died of a massive cerebral hemorrhage due to a congenital intracranial berry aneurysm that had ruptured at the base of his brain. Imagine that!! John 8:32 One of the primary reasons for the public assassination of President John F. Kennedy by the CIA in Dallas on November 22, 1963, was to stop him from delivering a speech that was planned at The Dallas Trade Mart for 1 p.m. This is the speech that President Kennedy would have given at the Trade Mart in Dallas if he had not been assassinated in Dealey Plaza. What follows is a transcript of what would have likely been President Kennedy’s most historic speech: My fellow Americans…People of the world! Today we set forth on a journey into a new era. One age, the childhood of mankind is ending, and another age is about to begin. The journey of which I speak, is full of unknowable challenges, but I believe that all of our yesterdays, all of the struggles of the past have uniquely prepared our generation to prevail. Citizens of this Earth we are not alone. God in His infinite wisdom has seen fit to populate His universe with other beings, intelligent creatures such as ourselves. How can I state this with such authority? In the year 1947, our military forces recovered from the drying New Mexico desert the remains of an aircraft of unknown origin. Science soon determined that this vehicle came from the far reaches of space. Since that time our government has made contact with the creators of this spacecraft. Although this news may sound fantastic, and indeed terrifying, I ask you not to greet it with undue fear or pessimism; I assure you as your president that these beings mean us no harm. Rather they promise to help our nation overcome the common enemies of all mankind, tyranny, poverty, disease, and war. We have determined that they are not foes, but friends. Together with them we can create a better world. I cannot tell you that there will not be any stumbling or missteps along the road ahead, but I believe that we have found the true destiny of the people of this great land to lead the world into a glorious future. In the coming days, weeks, and months, you will learn more about these visitors, why they are here, and why our leaders have kept their presence a secret from you for so long. I ask you to look to the future not with timidity but with courage, because we can achieve in our time the ancient vision of peace on earth and prosperity for all humankind. God bless you! President John F. Kennedy United States of America November 22, 1963

    What it's worth and what it brings are two different dynamics which may be why he still has it. I doubt he'll ever see anything over 75k and whoever buys it couldn't do anything but let it sit as well. It would take a fortune timewise and cost to get this car road-ready starting with the replacement of any and everything "rubber". I'd bet you couldn't drive it a week before the ["service engine soon"] light displays

    Awesome bird. Pontiac still holds the record for the biggest decal from the factory, the screaming chicken. I have 79 as well. Blue with blue and white interior. 79,000 original miles. It’s my first car I bought when I was 16 for $3,500. Now I’m 38, still have it, and so depressed on how ridiculous car prices have gotten. 16 year old me would never be able to get into the classic car seen now. It’s sad for these younger people who want to but can’t.

    • @MUSCLECARCORNER427
      @MUSCLECARCORNER427 2 дня назад

      Hello Kurt, yes sir I’ve installed many of those birds back in the 80s and 90s. I was one of the ones that could always get those on and just about make it perfect lotta work sometimes it would take me upwards of three hours plus to install and get all the air bubbles out, so yeah I do know about those big decals. I like the color combo on your TA. Yes sir most of the young kids these days will never see classic cars unless they’re working two or three jobs. It cost so much to live now back in the day always had three or four cars in the stables starting at 16 years old and I’ve always bought and sold getting into the muscle car game these days is very pricey hours restoring all my own cars back then I would do two a year and sell them for extra money to go buy more cars. I’ve been doing this for 48 years there’s still some deals out there that kids can get these cars and rattle, cans and black primer on it put some crackers start out at the bottom my sites were set a little bit higher with a 1969 hemi roadrunner convertible for 2600 back 76 😎✌️

Love it. Love it. My first car was a 1971 Torino 500, then another as a parts car, then a 1968 Country Squire, my favorite car ever, then a 1967 LTD 2 door hardtop, then a 4 door hardtop to harvest it’s 390. I love 1960-1971 American cars, all makes, all models. Big thanks. Keep it up.

    The only option on a 10th Anniversary is the engine (a Pontiac 400, a $90 option) which dictated the transmission (Borg Warner Super T-10 four speed manual for the 400 cars, TH350 for the 403 Oldsmobile cars). This also dictated the rear end ratio (3.23 for the 400, and 2.73 for the 403). Cruise control was deleted for the 400 because GM didn't want to design a servo for such a limited application. You wound up with a $103 credit for the cruise control delete with the 400 V8. The VIN gets the win: 2 for Pontiac, X for Trans Am, 10th Anniversary, 87 for two door coupe, Z for 400 CID V8 with four barrel, Pontiac produced, option code L78/W72, 9 for 1979 model year, L for Van Nuys, CA assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Van Nuys plant closed in 1992 and was among the "Terrible Three" in the GM system followed by Fremont and Southgate which were both closed in 1982. Vehicles assembled at these three plants were among the worst in the GM system. No trim tag, can't brag, but easy to figure out, no doubt: 79 for 1979 model year, 2FS87 for Pontiac (2) Firebird (FS) two door coupe (87), W for water based paint (Norwood cars have L for lacquer), L for Van Nuys, CA assembly (Norwood cars have an N here), 152 for Silver leather interior, 15L for Platinum lower exterior paint, 16U for Charcoal upper exterior paint, A51 for bucket seats, CC1 for T-tops, and a month and week of assembly code, among other codes. Norwood, OH (that plant closed in August 1987) also have A31 for power windows and Y89 for 10th Anniversary Trans Am and SIL for Silver secondary interior trim. Van Nuys cars always had less/"morse code" type information on their tags compared to other assembly plants. I have a Norwood assembled 10th Anniversary 400/4 speed.

    That’s cool but it’s forever a museum piece. Unless they drained all the fluids the brakes won’t work, the trans is shot due to dry bands bearings and seals. The engine is full of rust just from the atmosphere the main seals and valve seals are hard. The radiator is corroded from electrolysis. The control arm and leaf spring bushings are flat. The carb is full of sludge. So to use it you’d have to restore it. $250k?

      Hello, you know I’m not sure on that. I know they ran a lot of Keith Black blocks. You could buy a 426 block over-the-counter from Mopar the pre-71 blocks have a lot of nickel content in them so what’s in this one? I did not ask for your comments of being on my RUclips channel please subscribe✌️☮️
