Something I ran into with my Walksnail version of these goggles was the antennas couldn't screw all the way on until I removed the washers on the SMA connections. For the SMA connection swap you did here I simply swapped just the SMA portion of the SMA to UFL pigtails as I wanted top avoid putting pressure on the UFL connections. The UFL connections feel loose but are really on there in my experience. Love the liquid tape idea too! I used black silicone gasket maker but I think I might redo it with liquid tape since it should be a little stiffer.
