I’ve used HONSVR for my prescription, flying DJI products..You might want to contact them. I did mention it to them a while ago, but they are assessing the demand for Walksnail and HDZ goggles.

Got the X2-air MK II patch antennas on the way, too!
The top right (when you have them on) is a tx and rx antenna. So what people do is open the goggles up, flip the top right and front right u.fl connectors. This way you have the patch antenna on the tx/rx spot. You really only need to do this for super long range.

Very good thanks for sharing. One question why does the goggle get black pixels? I didn’t understand that part
True, I didn't explain it: If the sun hits the screen, if you leave the goggles unattended, your lenses act as a magnifier, and they can burn the screen inside. That's why you should never leave your goggles without any protection where sun find them, or the reason why you want to have a lens protector as the one I have here. Sun+Goggles=burned pixels
Could I use the stock Dji goggle antennas on the fatshark dominator avatar hd goggles
Yes you can Golden FPV. As long as you haven’t change the original antennas on the drone. The important part is the polarization, and the connector on the antennas. LHCP is what’s originally in walksnail and DJI

I got the Recon HD goggles and using them feels like I'm in the back of a movie theatre. The screen feels like it's about 6 inches away from my eyes. What is the experience with the Dominators? How much would it feel like I am more to the front of the movie theatre if any?
It’s been a long time since I used recon style goggles, but if I remember correctly, with something like the dominator you will feel even more immersed in the experience.

@@NordFPV Is this powerbank working with the googles? This is 5V output right? And the googles need 6V-25.2V
@@ingolfhegsvold5672 the power bank is much more than 5v. That’s the whole thing about this video. When you select a USB-C PD you can get up to 20v. And in the case of barrel connector then is the cable the one limiting how much power you provide.

Actually we found out that the DJI G2 foam fits perfectly the goggles X and therefore you see in the website it’s offered for both goggles

Which lens protector is the newer version? On 'printables' website the one with the more recent date (December 23) is bigger and the older (July 23) is smaller... Which do you recommend as best?
The smaller is the best one in my opinion. Remember to use TPU to print it, 95A or 98A preferably.

hi I have an advice about astigmatism and walksnail goggles, I am astigmatic too and I understand your problem because I also use the walksnail system, I'll explain, a few years ago I bought the old analog goggles eachine ev300D and they came with the package two small supports for external optical lenses to be mounted on the goggle lenses, so you could do the same, you print the supports in 3D and have your optician make the lenses to apply, it may seem strange to you but I think it is the only solution, said so if you draw these mounts in 3d to suit walksnail goggles please share the stl file so i can print one for my goggles! (I don't know how to draw in 3d, I only know how to print), sorry for the long message and for the incorrect grammar, I'm Italian :D
Ciao Pegh, yes, that's what I meant by "I'm thinking to do my own design". I've heard this same thing from someone that did some other goggles in the past, and despite I can draw a bit in CAD programs, I'm not very good at it, and something that may take an hour for someone else may take 5 for me, therefore I've been waiting to see if someone else does it before me :D. But I may give it a try soon if no one comes with a design soon. Thanks for the comment, and hope we find a solution too.

@@NordFPV Sorry I didn't get a notification for this message, I did end up finding the X air antennas in Australia I just had to buy 1 from 2 different suppliers due to stock shortages.
