I saw some ppl have are not able to switch back to the windows once they are in mac by the alt/option key so for that all you have to do is open system preferences go on startup disk click on the lock to allow making changes then click on bootcamp window then click on restart and it's done, please like this so everyone can see it!

@@devyche3961 the same thing happened to me all you do is turn off the computer and as soon as you turn it back on press the option/alt key and then you can open Mac from there
What about when you computer dont turn back on after installing windows?

This is still working. If you don’t see the option to switch back to mac/windows. Simply power your Mac off. And before you turn on your Mac again hold the option key and it will prompt you chose Mac or windows. Thanks for the video.

at 5:04 when i press continue, it says "The disk does not have enough space to be successfully partitioned...The Boot Camp partition requires at least 42 GB." But i have 51.34 GB of storage available :/ PLEASE help

Mac is just overall better in terms of quality but windows has more freedom and you can play games which is the only reason I’m switching
Carissa call Apple, it worked for me after I went to iCloud and turned off optimize cloud Mac storage and restart the boot camp application

Banksyshaw yes. There in a boot camp app on windows in the taskbar that you can click to go back to your Mac. Or when it’s booting, hold option for the boot menu and choose mac

CharmChatelle appleinsider on RUclips has a video explaining the same thing. And at the end they show you how to switch between macOS and windows. It’s a really good video! Just search appleinsider MacOs to Windows and it should show up!

this was the EASIEST and best tutorial i found to do this. i’m so glad it worked, i need windows for a job and didn’t want to not apply. also now i can play genshin impact
three years later and this works flawlessly, thanks a million my guy. for anyone who installed but the wifi isn’t working, skip the setup step and continue to the the boot camp as he said. it’ll install all the necessary drivers you need. you can also install another driver for the trackpad as well so it works exactly the same like in macos

I did the installation a couple months back, I had not login to the windows side in a while, I did today and on my Desktop it says "Activate Windows". Does this mean I did something wrong? Do I need to buy windows for it to continue to work? Thanks!

I will not have a single problem loading software, like cyberlink Powerdirector 19 on the windoes side, and using it? but will not work on the Mac side, Am I correct, no way will both sides use the same software. if I put a video on I have to put it for both? what mac laptop would you recommend to have zero issues with resolve video editing I heard the M1 is not to go with as it may be slower? It works perfectly to me, at some point I could not go back to Mac, but if you turn off the Mac hold option key and the you will see the two options and back to Mac OS

I was able to get back to Mac by shutting down the Mac then when turning on hold down the option button at the same time the screen will show you both the Mac and windows tab click on Mac and your good to go!

Carolin Meyer you have to restart and press the ‘alt’ button while it’s restarting. It will give you an option to choose between mac ios and windows, you just choose windows, it will restart and there you go. That’s how you change back to mac ios too. (Hope this was a bit helpful)

Thanks for this tutorial! Mine glitched and would not go back to Mac with the boot camp button or after using option and signing in to the Macintosh partition…… I turned it off completely with the power button and tried the option and Mac sign in again. And luckily it worked 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

So i was able to download windows on my macbook air, but once im on Boot camp assistant once i press continue its saying that "no USB drive" i have plenty of memory so not sure what to do ? do i need to use a USB drive?
