we have a gumbo limbo that seems to be at the end of its life in our back yard down by the lake. Arborist trimmed it a few years ago to keep it going. I only just now figured out what kind of tree it is. There is some new growth. Fingers crossed.

@@kimbanyc they usually decay in some areas but then sprout back through other parts of their limbs
They’re very tough to die completely
