"Mercenaries mode" as an extra is great, but as a whole game, maybe not. Good thing they aren't abandoning the idea COMPLETELY, since "Resident Evil Re:Verse" still has a launch date.
I actually enjoyed Operation Raccoon City, but skipped out on Umbrella Corps. OpRC had some personality and interesting gameplay while UC just looked like a typical shooter with zombies added in. I played the beta for Re:Verse and it's sorta fun but fairly bland overall, hopefully the delay helped improve the game if it actually releases.
Orc is mindless fun and the heroes mode is pretty fun ngl. What hurt the game was the terrible bugs and glitches and the fact that you can get easily cheesed out of life in that game
I'll give Operation Raccoon City this, it at least had an interesting premise and decent "what if" scenario. Umbrella Corps just lumps you into a map with little to no context.
I wanted a game like ORC since the classic RE2's 4th Survivor mode, unfortunately ORC had a good premise but the gameplay was poorly made, in my opinion was the closest Capcom ever got to a successful multiplayer spin-off series since the Outbreak games
So crazy to see what the disembodied voice finally looks like... I've always enjoyed the mercenaries modes in Resident Evil, but unless you're playing cooperatively it's hard to make the gameplay work in a competitive scenario (Resident Evil 5's mercenaries mode featured a tacked on versus option, and it was horrendous). I feel there is a lot you can do with the concept though - for example, a mode where one team features a player-controlled Tyrant who must be killed, or something to that effect. Umbrella Corps really didn't offer much imagination, and was just a bit dull.

I actually enjoyed Umbrella Corps within it's 12 hours lifespan. When it first came out, I was like, "Yeah this is kinda fun". Since the game felt like one of your old school casual competitive shooters. I slept for the night and when I woke up, no more players. I genuinely liked it because it was surprisingly balanced on it's gameplay, the matches are quick. It's the type of game that you can play where it wouldn't exhaust you further after coming home from a 9 to 5 job. Imo, they could have improved this if say, they made the movements more fluid and the zombies more of a threat where players from both sides are forced to actually take the zombies as a threat. The shooting mechanics on the game is fairly realistic, look how unstable that pistol is when shooting one handed.
Tough question as heck. Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 2 Remake. I can't handle the pacing of the older tank controls game, but if they remaster or port Resident Evil Outbreak I'd give it a try.

Operation Racoon City as a weird, alternate universe game is fun, but i cannot think of any resident evil fan who has ever said "ya know what this all needs? Painfully 2010s pvp shooter mechanics"

this game really is a shame because after playing the RE2 remake I really wished for some sort of multiplayer game focused around playing team that Hunk was a part of. Little did I know that a game with almost that concept had already come and gone, presumably taking the concept to the grave with it.
Honestly, the idea is there cause of umbrella themselves. They could do a multiplayer title with the concept alone but they never seem to hit the right note

It's only horrible because you got clapped on your first multiplayer match. I'm more than sure your k/d is extremely low... anyways I don't consider this an official "RE" game nor is it canon. Umbrella Corps is It's own unique competitive multiplayer game. Very underrated by picky fans. I honestly quite enjoyed it and still play from time to time. I'd give it a 3 out of 5. Remember, it's "Umbrella Corps". Resident evil is nowhere in the title so therefore it's not an official RE game so pls update your video title. However this game does borrow aspects from previous RE titles such as: characters, weapons and enemies ect.

Yes it's actually fun but it's not perfect
This kind of games usually fail more cause things outside them that by their own faults.
Don't know how they're allowed to still sell umbrella corps , it's unplayable and it's always in a sale , should take it off the playstation store
As someone who played it it's perfectly playable ( I do mean it)
And it shouldn't be taken off the stores because that can fuck up new players who want to take a deeper dive into this series
Also no matter how bad games are they should still be preserved
Dead on Arrival, well it's Umbrella Corpse
Umbrella corps is for hardcore competitive resident evil fans, casuals can go back to RE4
this is when capcom still in dark age, then after RE 7 capcom going into golden age untill now
👀loved the ad
Imma be real, I liked that sponsored spot LOL
I dont know what Capcom's problem with PVP resi games is. No one wants that shit. Give us Coop stuff like Outbreak or coop raid mode.
The thing is I don't see why people call it bad don't get me wrong this game is not great or even good
It's just average and okay at best
I played the game with an open mind and I was aware of the negative feedback surrounding it
And I came out more positive than I expected
Oh it's not forgotten, it's one of the better known RE flops everyone knows about.
first i thought this is another Operation Raccoon City since we get to play Umbrella Soldiers i always love....yeah i know its trash but at least we get to play those Umbrella Soldiers like HUNK....but the Umbrella Corp is more of Multiplayer than a Single Player, thinking like a sequel of ORC, hoping like i can play as customized Umbrella Soldiers but no it still a trash multiplayer.....
i hope Capcom make another RE Umbrella Soldier game that is more of Singleplayer in open world....like Division or Ghost Recon Wildlands/Breakpoint but more better....i know this will be action but it has more of survival like Dying Light or any Zombie Survival game....
Awe snap the greatest shooter of all time. on behalf of the UC couminty we thank you .
Ps: great job covering . But yea game got no advert. one trailer a year early and shadow dropp. to manny big you tubers gave people bad taste becuse as you had the angry jjoe clip. IS not a real RE game even tho its a spin off . peopl were still sour form Operation Racoon city. plus those who did play had one of two genuine problems felt bad or werent having fun. first one specifically for ps4 users. yea the game had terrible screen tering and could not hold 60 fps at 1080p Or simply werent a fan of the tom clansy tactical style gameplay. second the game has a fat learning curve and eitheir you got boidied or got gud and with mp shooters yea thas make or break especially if your player base aint huge like cod.
fyi about something resident evil related a remaster mod with 8 years of work behind it is releasing its final build next week, its for resident evil 4 pc... gives you another reason to replay and finish resident evil 4 again haha

havent paid any attention to corp was knowing about it and dint bother to do more, enjoyed as hell the 2 revelation opus and 4 5 6, have try unsucessfully to play orc =(
but apart from the bad job the dev and budget have done (ia and design), the ambiance seem fair enough, do you need a scary game when you are send here to kill everyone, know about the monster, the risk of the mission and so ?
nah (again from the video i have seen dadly =(, an action game where you shoot zombie and brain damaged ia sadly sometime, but well knowing that make me want to play it even more =)
Operation Raccoon City was way better. I really wish the characters from that game got more representation.
Had fun with this game to bad it didn’t last long.
I actually really enjoyed this game, but that may be because I don't care for Resident Evil at all
It’s weird cause every damn game from this era decided to make a random multiplayer mode even if the rest of the game was entirely single player
I wanted to buy the game immediately but due to some reasons I had to delay buying the game for 3 day then I saw it got 3.7/10 so I didn’t even though it looked nice enough
Fuck why did i buy the game without looking at reviews
Not going to lie. It looks kinda fun. And it being on sale right now makes me wanna buy it
Riot Games has a long history of having client issues.
@@Akshonmedia i think you guys replied to the wrong comment here x)
Face reveal? Or not?
