@@powerist209 i personally think this isn't in the same timeline as the future games, just a seperate timeline branching off of it. The Future games version of Ratchet clearly stayed with Talwyn by the end of Into the Nexus.

Ratchet and Rivet are NOT dimensional counterparts. They are from the same single species, without any dimension. Im going to give 4 reasons.
1) The Lombax's are not a dimensional species. As we have been shown and told in the lore of the Lombax's they were one of the smartest species EVER in the galaxy their smartest minds created the dimensionator alone. If the lombax's had counterparts in every dimension, than theoretically shouldn't almost every dimension have a dimensionator in it? at least at some point in time? If this were the case then as soon as Ratchet and Rivet leave to go to another dimension they should find another lombax with little to no trouble at all which doesnt make sense in the long run. Furthering the idea the Lombax's are a one of a kind species they CANT be found in other dimensions.
2) The Counterparts of Clank and Qwark make sense because they ARE dimensional and came from their dimensions. Clank was created by Drek and Nefarious to be a war bot and he ultimately defected. Its been established where Clank had come from and who his parents were. Just like Clank, Kit is the same way. She was created by Emperor Nefarious to be a War bot and defected. While she "supposedly" doesnt have parents. its clear where she is form, there is no mystery with either her or Clank. The same goes for Quantum and Qwark, we know where they came from so they have no mystery in their backstories. Ratchet and Rivet do not have that luxury. They dont know much about their past and they hope to find other Lombax's through the dimentionator, that is their ONLY lead. What happened to Ratchet with him being left on Veldin by his Father is most likely what happened to Rivet in some same way, EXCEPT that Ratchets Father Kaden used the Dimensionator to send Ratchet away to another dimension to the Solona Galaxy to protect him just before he was killed. Rivet most likely got sent to Sargasso as a baby by the same means....BY SOMEONE ELSE.
3) The Lombax's went to their OWN dimension After the war with Tachyon. After Tachyon had pushed the Lombax's back to Fastoon, they had made arrangements to flee to another dimension. Most of the lombax's had fled to another dimension. Azimuth was exiled and because he most likely didnt know about the Lombax plans to leave Fastoon, he went after the Great Clock to correct his mistake. this makes sense as to why the Lombax's are a single species, they created the dimensionator and it was GROUNDBREAKING technology, if they had gone to any other dimension, they would never see another Lombax because they are the only species in the known universe to have created a dimensionator, hence never seeing another counterpart Lombax.
4) Most of the Lombax's are in 1 dimension only. the same dimension that Ratchet refused to go to during the events of "Tools of Destruction" wherever the Lombax's are they are clearly residing in that dimension alone and nowhere else. And that dimension is most likely where Rivet's parents or relatives are, and Ratchets relatives are...any other Lombax's like Angela Cross is most likely just on their own and doing their own thing, but are ultimately from the same species of Lombax's as well.

Honestly though if you met one other Lombax who happened to be an outcast for not being as intuitive as the rest and know you aren't nearly at their level, you wouldn't want to immediately meet everyone as much either. So Ratchet being afraid of the Lombaxes would make a lot of sense and be relatable because of the high ass standards the Lombaxes hold.
So every major Sony game is interconnected into a dimensional web? So all stars is canon?!

not exactly... the ratchet & clank remake and rift apart are a different timeline... So the previous games dont count to this one's lore. this includes all stars. Though the previous games may lay groundwork for future lore and stories, i doubt it's anything beyond that. These games however do seem to share a connected universe web... though it's yet to be seen unless they do a remake of allstars with this new ratchet! (or a crossover to old ratchet could be fun... different timelines and re-visiting old levels in the original games with a twist! A new villain merging both timelines possibly! But downside is we may not get this as the ratchets would be confusing without giving some big differing tells.)

Okay... Now I really wanna meet Magz! I do hope that we get a resolution to the Lombax mystery. Even if it isn't where they all are or if they even return to their home dimension.
Just knowing and seeing these other lombaxes would be so cool and fullfilling as this was as huge part of ratchet and clank story for a long time now.

I think it would be really cool if in future games we do get to meet Mags, and what would be cool is if they did pull a kingdom hearts per se in the sense of ratchet and clank and maybe even rivet and kit trying to find the lombaxes that are scattered around the different dimensions and have it lead up to finding the dimension the majority had ended up at.

Reason why I’m confused on this is because some where in the recording, Mags mentions that the Lombax are scattered throughout multiple dimensions. Is he talking about his home world of lombax or is he talking about the whole Omniverse of lombax?????

There is a thing I didn't understand :
"Mags", the cartographer begin his work with Savali. Ok... Does that mean, basically, the Lombax world come from Rivet's dimension ?
Because Mags left all of his recording, including the one with the excuse in Rivet's dimension. If the Lombax world came from Ratchet's dimension, why leaving the recordings in one of the many dimension known, but not in the starting point, their home dimension, where some Lombax were left behind...
Does that mean Kaden and baby Ratchet jump into the main dimension at some point ? But in this case, shouldn't Tachyon know something about it ? Shouldn't he be able, somehow, to move through dimension too...? Wasn't it a ruins of a Lombax city in one of the games (main dimension). A ruins they left because of Tachyon ?

my impression was mags travelled to savali's dimension from the main one and began doing his work there. (whether or not lombaxes were expanding into other dimensions or already existed in rivet's dimension idk) i do think ratchet's dimension is the main one.

Thing is the dimensions are completely different which is why they have such a hard time with Commander Nefarious vs. Dr. Nefarious. Though does that mean when we go through dimensions in the next game are we going to see Sly Cooper, and Jak and Daxter?

@BloxY go back and replay the older games. Ratchet is a much more fully realized character and the whole cast feels actually relatable. His friendship with Clank is also much better built when comparing to this game and its prequel ps4 game
