Am Abraham and am from India 🇮🇳. Am 15 years old and am passionate rare plant collector. I have a jose buono which is almost a year old now and it is heavily variegated and the leaves are almost 17 to18 inches, it's a really great philodendron and its really easy to care for. I got it as a birthday gift and the plant was really small I got it for around 24$ and now it's a huge boy. I also recently got a monstera albo for a really steal deal. I really love your channel lots of love ❤❤❤❤

Voting Yes for keeping your variegated subhastartum. It's looking lovely, healthy and love how the red backs show through in sunlight. I first saw this plant on one of your videos and have since received a small baby one. Only two leaves at the moment. So far to go before it looks like yours. Happy New Year Fern.

Yeah, edema is caused by all the thing you mentioned, but it can also be caused by letting your moss poles dry out too much and then resaturating them with water... had the same thing happen to me a while back on my burle marx fantasy and it was so severe that the newest growth point turned to mush along with the top leaf bc it was too much water on the previously dry moss pole + cooler temps

Maybe I can finally help you out! You have helped me soooo much!!! My Calatheas do amazingly well in self-watering wick-water pots in peat+perlite+orchid bark. I literally do nothing but stand back and watch them grow! One is in a pot with a nylon rope that goes into a mason jar. The other is in a store bought plastic self-watering pot. If you DIY, don’t use a cotton wick, or anything organic. 💕

Narrow / jungle boogie. I agree that the metal moss pole will help with sturdy support. And I can just see it now, a massive p. Narrow / jungle boogie tree in your house! Hi Fern! I wanted to ask if you could do a video about …. Grow lights. Over the years that I’ve watched you I know you’ve tried so many kinds and types of grow lights and was wondering if you can do one of your preferred grow lights, and what actually works, and what really didn’t. Because I remember in a video you said you were using a grow light that was burning your plants, but also wasn’t reaching others. And I’m in the process of trying to find grow lights that work. I love all of your videos, super informational, and I learn a lot through your trial and errors, as well as your experience with different kinds of lighting in your home. But thank you for all of the work and videos you do! Everything is amazing

A big goal in 2023 with my current collection was to actually restart my marble queen. She was struggling and getting super leggy and was losing variegation. I chopped the whole plant, started cuttings, and now the plant looks so good. Such an easy plant but so rewarding. My main 2023 plant goal as far as a plant I wanted to get was a Monstera Thai Con, and I got one! Any care tips are greatly appreciated, but I will for sure check out your videos on care of Thais.

You are so great at setting these goals and then reviewing them. It definately whimakes for interesting content which it seems some plant utubers have trouble coming up with. I have a subhastatum, probably because of you. It has huge leaves, over a foot long, very green and shinny, which I really like. After a slow start it really took off. It doesn't have as much red on the back of the leaves as I'd like, but the short distance between leaves makes up for that. Anyway, it is definately a commitment to grow because of the huge size, so that would be my main consideration when deciding to grow it or not.

amidrium medium. Looks like nutrients deficiency to me. Might be just light or maybe it's normal for the plant. But moss tends to become more and more acidic over time so I would check the PH of the running out water and check if that matches plant needs to uptake nutrients. Too acidic can be fixed with things like dolomite lime or just PH up liquid. 😊

I remember watching your hoya bella variegated propagation vid because I needed guidance on how to propagate one. I just bought a small inner variegated 4 nodes cutting that day and it helped a lot. It grew fast over the growing season and gave me blooms. Currently, it is growing a new set of blooms in the winter.
My main tip for it to bloom is to keep up on the waterings. I lost peduncles when I was late on the waterings by a few days 😭 I also use Orchid mist but personally I don't see an increase in bloom productions. I've stopped using it during the winter but blooms still grew somehow.

Place it in a place full of indirect and moderate light, and if its leaves fall, there are several reasons, maybe its roots have grown and its pot has shrunk. How long has it been since you changed the soil? And do you give it fertilizer like flowering fertilizer or n p.k 12.12.36? And its leaves may burn due to lack of moisture, so spray water several times a day
