I bought a Songwriter Studio sunburst and wow what a sound and the sustain is amazing! And the price is far below their Dove, Hummingbird and J 200 among others that are reaching nearly five grand!
Why would a guitar manufacturer “forget” about advanced x bracing? Glad to see Gibson offering a few models with the advanced X along with standard x bracing. And a 25.5” scale length.
Agreed!!!! They can keep their paper fretboard!!! Jesus, 2k for a paper fretboard!!! I don't think so! If they truly believe that, then they'd make ALL their guitars with that paper composite fretboard!!! Under the guise of saving ebony! While they still use ebony on their other guitars! It's to save money, not wood or trees! Cut the crap! Talking about the Parlor AG!
Unless it's your mike my Songwriter sounds way better with more low end l,nice brights and rings with far more sustain.I'm not downing your guitar because the Songwriter is a successful model on the Gibson line and I've heard many.But some how yours lacks in tone in some way!
