- We are unboxing a Gibson Songwriter purchased directly from Gibson Garage on our trip to Nashville, TN.
Super excited to share it with you. We lost our good smooth footage of the once over the guitar, so apologies for non stable shots we had left but you can see and hear just how beautiful she is.

Nice songwriter. I used to have one which I regret selling. Powerful yet nuance. You can strum it hard but also play it delicately. It's definitely one of Gibson's best modern acoustics.

I have that exact guitar. It’s the 2016 Gibson Songwriter Koa custom. I fell in love with it as well and have had it since 2017. I rarely ever see anyone with that model so it’s nice to see it has other fans!
I love your enthusiasm and joy. I'm not a srrummer but you do it well. I will look forward to hearing more from you. This guitar sounds great. I like Gibson guitars but I worry about headstock breakage.

A buddy of mine has the standard rosewood and I’ve played it many times and always thought it was amazing and an excellent guitar, but this video specifically just sold a rosewood burst to me. The way the sun hits it in your room just made it pop. It’s coming Wednesday and I can’t stop thinking about it.

Great guitar for a great player and awesome singer! I just picked a cutaway up yesterday, and after playing Taylors and Martins my entire life, ive been converted to the Gibson way on these acoustics. Played a j45 studio and the deluxe as well and preferred the songwriter for the sustain on the lows and mids, but the next one will be the j45 deluxe. Congrats on a great sounding guitar and play the hell out of it! Matt from Tennessee

I just a J-45 vs. Songwriter video, then this rolled up; WHOA is right. I can't believe how good that guitar sounds! Amazing.

I know John well. He is an ole Kentucky boy! I bought everything John told me to buy when he lived in KY and I never lost money!!! John knows his stuff!!! Only a Gibby is good enough! Nothing on earth like em! I own several.

Those mids are scooped so your vocals cut through. Should be called a Singer Songwriter. I played one years ago for hours...couldn't afford it then and haven't played one since. I am afraid the experience wouldn't be the same.
