I wanted to write something profound but all words have left me. I’m just completely blown away by the songs Michael played in this video. His playing and that guitar were both out of this world. Thanks Jen for keeping Michael going as there are so many great riffs and melodies that flow from that creative fountain within him.

Definitely the prettiest Songwriter I've ever seen - or heard! I could listen to this one for a long time - maybe someone at NRG could record with it (hint hint).
PS: Let Brandon know (nicely!) that top quality Adirondack will also have tight grain (I have some beautiful Adi with very tight grain on my Martin Model America 1)

Wow! What a flat top Friday. I admit when I saw the guitar, I thought it was too pretty to sound that good. Lemmo proceeds to bring out all those lovely sounds and blows our minds, once again. Yes, “more, more” please.
these don't get the recognition that they deserve imho, very powerful guitars, this is the acoustic that I'd buy from gibson

Michael plays the way I dream of playing so accurate and soulful. The guitar has a quality tone advanced electronics great styling. The only thing left is the plug - search my name at top for my channel and all that good stuff. Viva norms - lemmo has such a power to make you feel the moment...

Lemmo, in your hands that thing sounds like a harp. Inspiring.
Don't think that amp is doing the plug in sound any justice. As an owner of about 15 acoustics. ( 1 being a songwriter deluxe Standard EC ) I can tell you it's probably one of the best plug in sounding acoustics that's existed. It's the reason the songwriter became my main stage guitar. Other than that, this is one beautiful example of the 2nd generation songwriter series. These also have Adirondack bracing which I believe is not done on the current 3rd generation models. I could be wrong.

What songs u doing?
A long time ago there was a 3 LP record set released featuring The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and a handful of great bluegrass musicians. People like Earl Scruggs, Doc Watson and Vassar Clements. Some of the music discussions between the players made it onto the record which was unique at the time. Musician conversations from recording sessions are still rarely included on a record, tape or CD. I say all this in order to repeat what Doc Watson says to a guitar player during a session.
