Sending thoughts of love and strength to both of you. I hope you're currently, or have been, off trail for a good rest and that Judy's ankle is recovering. Meeting a physio in the wilderness right on queue was most incredibly fortuitous.

Oh that’s tough Judy. 🤦‍♀️ Thankfully you had all that cold water to soak (ice) your ankle in. I’m hoping 🙏 you’ll be feeling better in the morning. Can’t wait to see how strapping, a nights rest and more pain relief helps the situation. ❤

I love your frankness and humility Nikki. Amazing support for your friend in tough circumstances. Judy you are so tough and determined, sending you lots of positive vibes for a fast recovery from your ankle sprain. A true example of the trail providing! A Physio!! Words cannot express how much of an inspiration you both are.

Thank you for your encouragement and Judy’s injury has certainly been something to work through. She has persevered and still on trail and going strong, a tough cookie!! For me, it has also been a learning experience and not without a few tears of my own which you will see on day 119!

Sorry to hear of, and see Judy have an injury. Hopefully not too debilitating. How fortuitous to come across a physio out there. Make a good recovery. Rest it when needed. Take care. Noho haumaru.

This is my second time watching your TA adventures. Thanks for sharing, it's great prep for my Sth Is SOBO this summer! How did you get your packs down that rock face before you climbed down without them, I'd love to know?

😖 Ouch! You're a tough cookie Judy. My husband sympathises with you, when we did the pass the bones in the top of his foot were screwed together & the screw decided to unthread & try push thru the skin (Dr's we're adamant this could NOT happen, till they saw his foot....) & like you he decided to push on, he was miserable....so Nicky I can understand your concerns. I really hope the strapping helped & that there's no lasting effects. Good wishes ladies.

Oh my wow, Judy you are an absolute trooper and Nikki what an amazing support you are. I’m just loving following your adventures but now there’s drama too!!! It was so awful watching you hobble along Judy, with your “totem” lame duck appearing as if to mirror you! I really hope you’re doing ok. And meeting the physio hikers - what are the chances!
