I think they kinda wanted to creat a open end because when some1 dies you see it multiple times. Lucy at the end just misses David, maybe see just goes back to earth and hear some news that David is still kicking around.
If I did season 2, it would follow totally different characters. Maybe Falco and Lucy have short cameo appearances but that's it. Of course what I would actually do, would be a prequel centered on Rebecca, because fucking duh.
I have something that’s not much of a theory but rather just fan speculation is that Lucy’s story reminds me a lot of the legend of Cheng’e There’s many versions of the story but they all have something in common, Cheng’e used to live with her lover on the mortal plane but she ended up ascending to the moon by herself usually by means that were out of her control with some versions saying that her lover died before/during her ascension Coincidence? Maybe but it’s still there
David's gravity weapons definitely couldn't have killed Smasher lol. Smasher right before literally jumped off a skyscraper and smashed directly into the ground, still standing. I think his body is strong enough to withstand the forces.
Adam Smasher went full borg in the 2020's, maybe before. He lacks the ability to have impregnated Gloria some 40 years later. Impossible for him to be David's father.
Adam Smasher is David and Lucy's son. Hinted at by Adam saying "you could say I'm special". David was always saying that he is special and this was know by Adam. What Adam wanted to say was "you could say I'm special...LIKE YOU, FATHER" but was stopped by Arasaka mind control. You see in Season 2 Lucy finds out David is alive and held prisoner by Arasaka. Knowing she can't leave him to a fate worst than death she decides to return to NC and save him. To find a way to do this she returns to old net. How this happens takes up 99% of season 2. Last scene of the last episode of S2 after battling through a rouges AI's version a YU YU HAKUSHO Dark tournament (where different AI groups plus Lucy's group made of people she finds along the way during S2 fight it out. Spoilers Rebecca 2.0 is one of them. Adam Smasher having her rebuilt. With some his own parts explaining why he's so must weaker in 2077. Knowing she would have to help his mother) she receives the grand prize of lost data. In this data not only does she find a way to save and repair David's broken mind and body, she finds their ultimate escape....TIME TRAVEL! The reason why Rache Bartmoss destroyed the old net in the first place. So Mega Corps couldn't travel back in time and take over sooner increasing their profits even further. At the end of season 3 as Lucy and David are about to delta, Rebecca 2.0 wishes them luck and gives them a BD from Smasher explaining what has to be done in the past to start the chain of events that eventually free humanity in 2177. Which is the plots for S4-S77.
The theory that Adam Smasher was killed and not David can't be true. Edgerunners takes place before Cyberpunk 2077 and he's in the game...That had to come from someone who never played it.
Something to think about, V and Lucy woke up at the same junkyard in the badlands outside of night city, same thing might happen to david as if he never died, fi you go the the part where v gets shot it looks odly alike adam sandler shooting david
Here's something to ponder What if the BD guy got a tidbit of info of David's future and made a custom BD to try and teach David the risks of cyberpyscosis preemptively, season two is where the BD ends and the events are different but have the same feel
I hope some big entertainment studio gets interested in Shadowrun as well. The fantasy-cyberpunk mash up may not be for everyone, but I think Shadowrun's lore is even better than Cyberpunk's. Ridiculous fan theories will have better chances with Shadowrun.
For the idea of Lucy using David, the reason she stopped going on missions wasn't because she lost interest in going to the moon, she was specifically making targeted solos trikes against ARasaka edgerunners etc in order to keep them from going after David as a test subject.
-David, I am your father Whatever choom, i don't give a shit -Wait, you're supposed to deny it fervently! And then to search your feelings, you know it to be true! I'm sorry, Lei... eeh, Lucy -Agh, I even forgot to lob your hand off (crushes David's arm to a pulp, then throws him off the crater he made, only for him to be hoisted away by Millenium Falco) Return of the Edgerunner is just David and Lucy chilling on the moon, while Sheev... eeh, Saburo Arasaka slowly starts looking even more like a potato
In the game Falco says, so you do t find 'US' not me so he is not the only survivor of the edge runners gang. And I would say it was a dream dance and the reason they retired was David saw what would happen if he continued.
Here’s a crazy theory, what if David was actually in a coma or something similar ( after the car incident in ep 1) and edge runners was a dream, we all know how crazy dreams can get on a dime
my theory : adam smasher stoped before he shot david and let david escape from death and then he shot himself and in the end of the episode lucy is alone on the moon beacuse david was in the hospital. and i think at the end of the day that series was rushed maybe there will be a season 2 showing how david ran away from arasaka or something
Yeah the biggest hole in the “Lucy was using David” theory is that Lucy did so many things to show she cared about David. She deleted Arasaka’s plans for David in hopes they forgot about it, she genuinely pleaded with him to chrome down, and they SLEPT TOGETHER. Kinda hard to do all those things for someone you’re just using lol
Facts. All Lucy wanted was for David and her to live together on the moon away from night city and edgerunning. Their love was pure. I honestly believe no one loved david more than Lucy, not even Becca
@@chrispbacon002 Yes. That why I don’t think Becca was perfect for him. I love Lucy and David’s relationship and I wish they could be together on the moon.
Okay to people who watched the show and nothing else. Cyberpunk is kinda like fallout :/ it takes place in an alternate timeline to our own. I mean in the game you even find out the USSR is still around. The U.S also kinda fell apart around the early 2000’s. I forgot what the cause was but I think it was just civil unrest for the most part. And how are theories popping up saying this character killed smasher or that character killed smasher? Especially when this anime takes place one year before the game. And smasher is in said game. And at the end V kills smasher
funnily enough the USSR still exists in Fallout as well lol. its even implied they where on fairly good terms with the US pre-great war united by a there enemy in China
David comes back as an Arasaka Puppet. Completely borged and brainwashed, the only person to save him is Lucy. Lucy fights against David, she saves him but he it is to late and he sacrifices himself.
My idea: EDGERUNNERS is just a tale of EDGE RUNNERS, so it's all about rise and fall of junkyard kids in Night city. It's not about V, David, Rebecca and so on, it's all about (when the series'plot was originated and developed) describing what Cyberpunk is. Since Cyberpunk is originally a role playing game it's all about that game, how a party start, live and end, and Edgerunners try to explain this to the viewers, so the viewers are able to enjoy the game without having to read all the game master' books. If that's the way it's meant to be done they just made a good "game" with the sad end. The sad end itself is part of cyberpunk "philosophy": live fast (burn fast), die young (in a blaze of glory). Even the game "works" that way. The ending (japanese style) has been blurred (anime do that, A LOT, and it's irritating as hell) for two reasons: - keep a way to do a second season - allow people to have their own "view" of the ending, without saddeninng the viewers' base So don't expect that something will give you a PASSABLE explaination about "David" and the rest, if a second season comes they'll just patch up something to "keep the damn thing working". Cya!
Hate to say it but there's 2 things to note: David is dead, he has a drink in the afterlife that you can buy. Morgan Blackhand isn't dead which is why his drink isn't available in the afterlife Morgan Blackhand is Mr blue eyes, someone did a bit of data mining in the game, found his model and it's that if Mr blue eyes. The only reason why they are called different is because Mr blue eyes is a reanimated corpse controlled by an ai similarly to how the joy toy chip works
I think maybe the whole show after he met that famous BD designer was a BD. Because there's no way that Lucy found him the way she did. His tracker wasn't working, it doesn't add up
it is possible that david was just heavily tired when he tried to use the gravity slam against adam smasher. it just makes no sense, adam smasher can get killed by regular gun fire but a gravity weapon that can destroy entire convoys of armored militech vehicles is where adam just somehow resists? either david was tired or adam smasher was buffed to be a menace in this anime
I have no proof but.... just hear me out. I didn't play the game, watched a let's play and recently watch the anime. I think, Edgerunners is the plot of the Street Kid Path before Keanu Reeves joined the project. Basically when trigger got the rights to make an anime based off Cyberpunk, they asked for material from the development cycle. Some of the early ideas were still in the folder. Instead of V, we were originally going to be playing as David. here is some of my admittedly weak proofs 1. No one can deny that the major beats of the plot of both the game and the anime share a lot in common, 2. Street V's and David's first job as a runner is about car of a vip. 3. That montage in the game where V start their life as a Street Samurai looks like a lot of the same kind of things that happen to David. 4. Both end with Adam Smasher. 5. There is a major tone shift after getting silver hand in your head, almost like they had to shoe horn Keanu into the plot as a main character which I would argue that since he is, since the character you have the most interaction with, pushes the plot and is the only thing that actually matters in the end game. He became the new main character and pushed David into a lesser role, they thought it would be easier to just have an avatar character be our playable character rather then a character with their own thoughts and dreams. The way that I think that when CDPR knew that they were going to put Keanu in they they panicked because they had to make the choice to either tie in Maine,Kiwi,Rebecca,Lucy and everyone else in David's crew into the new plot about a ghost in his head/shell OR they would have to rip it all out and replace it with Jackie to keep it simple.
Is it too early to make the joke about how David really is dead and the entirety of his sad little story is finished with no plans to continue with a second season at the time it was written? Night City doesn't have happy endings, chooms. It's like the entire point of the story, you die gloriously or you fade away. David had the resources to leave, to fullfill Lucy's dream, but Night City doesn't give you that choice. Despite being told exactly what was going to happen, and even having seen it first hand, the only way David could stop was death. Also, Nobody in NC, including Smasher or Arasaka, gave a scop about David or how "special" he was. To them, he was entirely disposable and easily replaced.
I think that Rebecca and David have to be alive. Because Rogue tells us in Cyberpunk 2077 that Adam Smasher wasnt seen in the last couple of years in Night City after we give Johnny control over our Body so they can talk to each other. That and in addition to that Falco doesnt says in the Mission that Davids crew seized to exist he explicitly says that V could find "them" if he would try hard enough. That means that at least in the Game Adam Smasher wasnt in town to kill them so maybe some retcon or They have to be alive. we just need to get a second game so we can save them. One were we can recruit an crew make a base and stuff. I would like that.
@@bumperjumper nah rather not but maybe they will test the Waters tbh One Piece has only a couple more years Cyberpunk has a Not similiar but familiar setting with kinda strange super powers so i guess at least Shoeisha may have an interest in the rights for cyberpunk egderunners
What confused me about David´s death was that he was shot the same way as Johnny Silverhand was shot in the game. Johnny survived, so why couldn´t David survive it? Adam even says that he could be an interesting construct. So maybe he was brought into Arasaka and then they used Soulkiller on him.
Sorry my english is bad My theory. DAVID IS LIKE JONNY. Hear me out. So jonny nuked NC and my big booty boi smasher took care of him. Just like he took of care of David. Big booty boi returned with Davids head and david become an engrame. But now the real mind booty smashing starts: Edgerunners played in 2076, the game in 2077. Lucy noticed V and Jonny boy und goes looking for David. And guess what? We have a season 2
The Morgan blackhand killing Adam smasher theory doesn't add up due to 3 points in cyberpunk 2077 1) Evelyn parkers bd of the penthouse apartment that belongs to yorinobu arasaka he was in her xbd 2) he was present during the hiest to take the relic that puts v in a race to save his/her life and 3) he was made head of arasaka security as said by Grayson and he was talking to oda during the parade ( end of act 2 start of act 3) so that's why I think Morgan backhand killing Adam smasher is highly improbable
If adam was david's father, there could be good chance it maybe with Michiko (Kei's daughter) , making him an Arasaka. And here the theory disproves itself quite obviously.
Due to the fact that you can quick hack cyberpsychosis into people and multiple shards throughout the game agreeing with this theory, I think the intentional cyberpsychosis holds some weight. I also think tampering with your brain via cybernetics and a viewpoint of machine>flesh doesn't help either
@@bumperjumper if David had more practice and control with the Sandi without juicing up on chrome and without the exoskeleton and knew how to fight better and had the right equipment to take on smasher he would've won.Lucy being dead would be a massive head turn.
I think the way how the entire series was built up til this point implies that david aint comin back in season 2. Mabye its just me. Though a new main character with new cyberware would be cool to see.
Unfortunately unlikely. Dex shot V with a low caliber round that didn't fully kill him and with the relic installed inside of V, it helped revive him but at the cost of his body initially trying to kick V out for Johnny to take over his body.
Of the theories I’d probably say “Cyberpsychosis was planned,” is the most believable one. I don’t think all cyberpsycho cases are the corporations’ fault, just more so I believe the idea of them weaponizing cyberpychosis and it’s potential use in the previous Corpo War. Also the “it’s a scare tactic to make people think they’re untreatable” is just a straight up fact, especially in the game with its side mission focused around it, the theme is “don’t kill them, treating them isn’t impossible.” And Edgerunners shows this too, David getting some sense back with Lucy’s help.
Yeah it’s sad to see the possibility of cyberpsychos getting better be overshadowed by people thinking, “they’re too far gone and it’s their fault, just flatline them.”
I doubt cyberpsychosis was planned entirely, but when corporations started noticing that some people lose their shit when they load up too much cyberware... they'd exploit that for sure. Similar to historical assholes doing things like catapulting blankets of smallpox patients into an enemy fortress. They didn't create the smallpox, but they'll sure as hell use it to their advantage.
The way the Edgerunners Easter egg is in Cyberpunk 2077 Falco makes it seem like the entire crew is keeping their heads down… if that is true then how much of Edgerunners is true??
Falco says if you dig enough you can find the Edgerunners crew if you dig enough. What if the events happen after they pursue the BD guy was just David in a simulation? Everything that happens is either generated by an AI or taken from multiple BDs? After all the BD guy is the best at what he does… David could be experiencing just that.
Sounds like you also watched my simulation video: The Ending Was A SIMULATION | Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Ending Theory ruclips.net/video/tOLs33WheVU/видео.html
Sasha Theory I think I actually might be it because when David was getting into the group there is a scene where Nash talks about her and if he recognized her that's probably why he smiled and too she was a Net runner she could hide herself even she wanted to get out of it or make a difference that's probably what happened so at the end david smiled he recognized Sasha and she shot Adam smash him in the head but it didn't kill him it wounded him to where she could get David out of there because this is before 2077 and then if you look at Adam Smasher closely in the game you can see a wound in the back of Smashers head

Oh, one last thing - David Martinez is literally established as dead in the game, so the fact that we're even having this conversation about who was killed in that scene to begin with is absolutely ridiculous. Y'all just want to make shit up because you prefer your storyline.
@@boatridecharm well it is known that there are engram copies of smasher that serve as bodyguards for rich people as far as we know the real smasher is still alive
Just by hearing these theories I almost ended up with cyber psychosis 🤣
Same here 🤣
I think they kinda wanted to creat a open end because when some1 dies you see it multiple times. And with David you just see him smile and not really die so they where thinking ahead for a season 2 maybe? Lucy at the end just misses David, maybe see just goes back to earth and hear some news that David is still kicking around.
That’d be an awesome setup for season 2!
In the game they said he’s dead bro. Besides smasher is till alive during the game too so the blood is not his. David’s brains got blown out
Unfortunately there is a drink in the afterlife called the Martinez. You can only get a drink named after you if you die
If I did season 2, it would follow totally different characters. Maybe Falco and Lucy have short cameo appearances but that's it.
Of course what I would actually do, would be a prequel centered on Rebecca, because fucking duh.
I have something that’s not much of a theory but rather just fan speculation is that Lucy’s story reminds me a lot of the legend of Cheng’e
There’s many versions of the story but they all have something in common, Cheng’e used to live with her lover on the mortal plane but she ended up ascending to the moon by herself usually by means that were out of her control with some versions saying that her lover died before/during her ascension
Coincidence? Maybe but it’s still there
Was talking to a friend recently about How I believe the amino blockers could be what cause cyberpsychosis not getting chromed up.
David's gravity weapons definitely couldn't have killed Smasher lol. Smasher right before literally jumped off a skyscraper and smashed directly into the ground, still standing. I think his body is strong enough to withstand the forces.
If everything after episode 5 isn’t a simulation then cyberpsychosis is treatable as he literally snapped out of it over a kiss
V is a god no joke. Bro killed Adam smasher, and kills cyber psychos for a living
Funny enough in cyberpunk lore there’s a actual skates/heelys cybernetic 😭
Which is the plots for S4-S77.
lol this technically makes johnboy silverhand adam sandler's thrid cousin inlaw
David never had a chance to defeat Adam but V could defeat him was due to that V have the legendary Johnny Silverhand inside of him.
People can't handle a tragedy even my friends their minds are like broken from there being a tragedy.
“Black out shut the city down so dark you’ll never hear a sound”
Here's something to ponder
What if the BD guy got a tidbit of info of David's future and made a custom BD to try and teach David the risks of cyberpyscosis preemptively, season two is where the BD ends and the events are different but have the same feel
Bumper himself liked something that my stupid brain said....? ...... Impossible..... It can't -
V is David and Lucy son
The show takes place like 1 year before the game
💀
They grow up so fast
Theory 21: Falco will be the main character in Cyberpunk Nomads, which will be the title for the second season of the Cyberpunk anime.
That would be dope!
5:07 Also we know this to be FAULSE. As Edgerunners is the prequal to Cyberpunk 2077 game and Adam Smasher is in the game Alive and Well.
Probably late on this but it should be noted in the source material that Johnny Silverhand is brought back as an Engram in a clone post 2020.
I like the idea of the show being an illicit BD/video game within the Cyberpunk universe.
I hope some big entertainment studio gets interested in Shadowrun as well. The fantasy-cyberpunk mash up may not be for everyone, but I think Shadowrun's lore is even better than Cyberpunk's.
Ridiculous fan theories will have better chances with Shadowrun.
1:20 Look mom! I'm in the screenshot! Mom? Mom?
Thank you for making this amazing community more amazing
@@bumperjumper you got it mom. All the way to the top.
The theory part to me is Johny Silver hands and David Convo, JS says something like your feelings for her are not real, David says they're real to me.
David is definitely dead. In the game there is a drink at Afterlife named after him, and they only do that for Night City "legends" who die.
my theory: adam sandler actually became an actor
Hmm I’m gonna have to see some solid evidence in favor to believe this theory
Andam Sandler being Adam smasher would fit since the tv remote from click could be Arasaka tecnology
For the idea of Lucy using David, the reason she stopped going on missions wasn't because she lost interest in going to the moon, she was specifically making targeted solos trikes against ARasaka edgerunners etc in order to keep them from going after David as a test subject.
-David, I am your father
Whatever choom, i don't give a shit
-Wait, you're supposed to deny it fervently! And then to search your feelings, you know it to be true!
I'm sorry, Lei... eeh, Lucy
-Agh, I even forgot to lob your hand off (crushes David's arm to a pulp, then throws him off the crater he made, only for him to be hoisted away by Millenium Falco)
Return of the Edgerunner is just David and Lucy chilling on the moon, while Sheev... eeh, Saburo Arasaka slowly starts looking even more like a potato
The end (The moon part) is what David sees in his death and not what actually happes.
In episode 2 when Lucy showed David the moon braindance all the events after it was just another one of Lucy's braindances or dreams
David got that lightskin stare 2:16
My theory is that half of these people haven't watched the show or that I'm really bad at spotting bait.
It must be the former.
Nah because there's a drink named after him at the Afterlife
@@guyyatsufair enough, I forgot about that
in game the joytoys refer to female characters as valerie and males as vincent, which disproves the david is v theory
my theory : adam smasher stoped before he shot david and let david escape from death and then he shot himself and in the end of the episode lucy is alone on the moon beacuse david was in the hospital.
and i think at the end of the day that series was rushed
maybe there will be a season 2 showing how david ran away from arasaka or something
Fun theory but no, Adam smasher would never let anyone escape and it’s proved that David is dead in the game as well at the show.
Adam is alive in the game which takes place a year after Edgerunners
Adam Sandler killed me :D :D :D dude you have no idea how much I'm laughing right now
Glad to hear it!!
Fun fact V was in Chicago during the events of Edgerunners
2:36 I hate this theory. I loved her and David’s relationship together. I don’t think it’s true. They both deeply love each other.
David's cyber skeleton was only a BD because Jimmy Kurosaki smiled at David just before he died
For some reason this video reminded me of silent hill's 2 circumcision theory.
Now I’ve gotta look this up!
This would be really cool to see, and allow us to experience more of these characters while respecting the themes of night city
The ending (japanese style) has been blurred (anime do that, A LOT, and it's irritating as hell) for two reasons:
- keep a way to do a second season
- allow people to have their own "view" of the ending, without saddeninng the viewers' base
So don't expect that something will give you a PASSABLE explaination about "David" and the rest, if a second season comes they'll just patch up something to "keep the damn thing working".
Cya!
Hate to say it but there's 2 things to note:
David is dead, he has a drink in the afterlife that you can buy. Morgan Blackhand isn't dead which is why his drink isn't available in the afterlife
Morgan Blackhand is Mr blue eyes, someone did a bit of data mining in the game, found his model and it's that if Mr blue eyes. The only reason why they are called different is because Mr blue eyes is a reanimated corpse controlled by an ai similarly to how the joy toy chip works
I think maybe the whole show after he met that famous BD designer was a BD. Because there's no way that Lucy found him the way she did. His tracker wasn't working, it doesn't add up
Have you seen my video on this theory? I think you’d enjoy it: ruclips.net/video/tOLs33WheVU/видео.html
it is possible that david was just heavily tired when he tried to use the gravity slam against adam smasher.
it just makes no sense, adam smasher can get killed by regular gun fire but a gravity weapon that can destroy entire convoys of armored militech vehicles is where adam just somehow resists?
either david was tired or adam smasher was buffed to be a menace in this anime
Orrrrr…… the game fucked that bossfight
What if David smiled because he had a counter-attack ready? Maybe the blood we saw was Sasher's
David:2076
V:2077
V won Smasher,so there is no way he could do this.

@@invert8505 oh sorry. I get that this can be a bit difficult. Im sorry for ur loss.
Instead of V, we were originally going to be playing as David.
here is some of my admittedly weak proofs
1. No one can deny that the major beats of the plot of both the game and the anime share a lot in common,
The way that I think that when CDPR knew that they were going to put Keanu in they they panicked because they had to make the choice to either tie in Maine,Kiwi,Rebecca,Lucy and everyone else in David's crew into the new plot about a ghost in his head/shell
OR
they would have to rip it all out and replace it with Jackie to keep it simple.
Why most people who do fan theory did pay attention to the game ??
Adam Smashers brutal beatdown on David would've played out the same exhausted or not.
Bro a lot of these theories are fucking good, especially the cyberpsychosis being a weapon one, but some of these actually made me go cyberpsycho
I can already hear MaxTac on the way
Is it too early to make the joke about how David really is dead and the entirety of his sad little story is finished with no plans to continue with a second season at the time it was written?
That means that at least in the Game Adam Smasher wasnt in town to kill them so maybe some retcon
or
They have to be alive. we just need to get a second game so we can save them. One were we can recruit an crew make a base and stuff. I would like that.
Do you think the upcoming dlc for 2077 “Phantom Liberty” could have something to do with David?
@@bumperjumper nah rather not but maybe they will test the Waters tbh One Piece has only a couple more years Cyberpunk has a Not similiar but familiar setting with kinda strange super powers so i guess at least Shoeisha may have an interest in the rights for cyberpunk egderunners
On to something with those heelies
What confused me about David´s death was that he was shot the same way as Johnny Silverhand was shot in the game. Johnny survived, so why couldn´t David survive it? Adam even says that he could be an interesting construct. So maybe he was brought into Arasaka and then they used Soulkiller on him.
Sorry my english is bad
My theory. DAVID IS LIKE JONNY. Hear me out. So jonny nuked NC and my big booty boi smasher took care of him. Just like he took of care of David. Big booty boi returned with Davids head and david become an engrame.
But now the real mind booty smashing starts:
Edgerunners played in 2076, the game in 2077. Lucy noticed V and Jonny boy und goes looking for David. And guess what?
We have a season 2
Arasaka was looking to test mind transferring software actually so that could be.
Did bro forget that Lucy left the crew to try destroy all the information Saka had about David?
Adam Sandler doesn't actually have a Sandevisaton, It's actually the remote from Click. That's why he comments that david's version is rudimentary
This makes perfect sense!! How didn’t I catch this sooner??
The Morgan blackhand killing Adam smasher theory doesn't add up due to 3 points in cyberpunk 2077
1) Evelyn parkers bd of the penthouse apartment that belongs to yorinobu arasaka he was in her xbd
2) he was present during the hiest to take the relic that puts v in a race to save his/her life and
3) he was made head of arasaka security as said by Grayson and he was talking to oda during the parade ( end of act 2 start of act 3) so that's why I think Morgan backhand killing Adam smasher is highly improbable
I actually had a theory watching this what if v is David's dad but from the future
The Healey's got me thinking
👀
If adam was david's father, there could be good chance it maybe with Michiko (Kei's daughter) , making him an Arasaka. And here the theory disproves itself quite obviously.
A couple of these theories fail to even understand that The anime happens before the game
that guy who gives david sugeries is actually smasher, have we ever seen them in the same room? also he bloats about himself when talking to david
Immediately I thought of the doctor who tried to “save” Gloria and laughed out loud 😂 Ripperdoc being Adam smasher would be a trip
Why does everybody think Adam Sandler is dead in the show when V kills him much much later. Is Adam the real clone?
How could david lose to Adam Smasher yet V with almost not cyber enhancement took him out in a heartbeat
Theory 2 is the only good one to me, and maybe the one he was cloned. I think he was cloned afterwards smash zeroed him
David's Dad went to buy Milk. Bought Maine instead. His father is Faraday.
It all makes so much sense now
Lucy stopped going on gigs because she was hunting down data and what seemed to be Netwatchers.
I think Apple Cobbler being an anagram is quite possible
What could this mean for David Blaine?
Omnidirectional Heelys makes sense....
Due to the fact that you can quick hack cyberpsychosis into people and multiple shards throughout the game agreeing with this theory, I think the intentional cyberpsychosis holds some weight. I also think tampering with your brain via cybernetics and a viewpoint of machine>flesh doesn't help either
You think V is already a cyberpscho? Because he goes around killing stuff
I mean. Anyone with the master control of their own implants could makes a lot more sense.
What do you mean? How would this play out, I’m curious
@@bumperjumper if David had more practice and control with the Sandi without juicing up on chrome and without the exoskeleton and knew how to fight better and had the right equipment to take on smasher he would've won.Lucy being dead would be a massive head turn.
@@AnthonyKusanagi101 this is completely in line with how smasher is a complete pushover in the game too
I think the way how the entire series was built up til this point implies that david aint comin back in season 2. Mabye its just me. Though a new main character with new cyberware would be cool to see.
9:18 David could have survived like how V survived Dex shooting him/her
Intriguing…good point!
@@bumperjumper especially cause in the cyberpunk 2077 game, regina jones' quests are all about rehabilitating cyberpsychos instead of killing them.
The theory about cyberpsychosis being used by Corpos is actually supported by lore in the games.
Sounds like you also watched my simulation video: The Ending Was A SIMULATION | Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Ending Theory

He smiled because Lucy was safe and that’s all he cared about.
